Dez N Elle's Playhouse
Great on demand child care service with safe, fun and professional facility and staff. Secure entry and exits as well as transparency with access to cameras and recording. Facility is made to provide the needs of children ages 6 months to 12 years old with exemptions for special needs and differently abled. ( we make age exceptions for special needs children who may have mindset younger than their physical age and may still find the playhouse exciting). We hold children's birthday parties as well as group meetings at our event space. We also teach children STEM programs through crafting projects that integrate the concept of lessons.

Sunbrook Academy at Legacy Park
My son is autistic and tge teachers are so good with him. They don't single him out based on his skill level which I appreciate. They ALWAYS call me if anything happens from a bite to a rash to a fever. I am always told when he needs anything. They were so wonderful when he started. He was still eating puree foods even though he was just shy of 2 and having texture issues. The teachers finally got him off a bottle and eating 'big boy food'Between the great and caring teachers and staff and his speech therapist; my nonverbal son is now saying words!I'd recommend them in a heartbeat!

I have 3 children that have attended Sunbrook Academy. Wow! The amount they have learned not to mention the kid reports I get to my phone throughout the day is great. The Directors treat my family so well that it felt like I have known them forever in the beginning. Childcare is costly but the peace of mind I had by leaving my children at Sunbrook was worth it. They have special days, they do field trips for the older children, they have parents night out. Take a tour- you will and should sign up!

If I could give this school less than one star, I would. My son attended this school for a little over a year. Last week another student, completely unprovoked, bashed him in the face with a chair causing not only a black eye but seven stitches as well. When my child was picked up from school he needed to be rushed to the hospital so we accepted the story the director gave us. The next morning I expected a director to reach out to me and tell me why my son now had a huge gash above his eye, No one ever did. When i called, the director danced around the story. I asked her numerous times what happened. After about ten minutes she finally gave me the scenario. The child charged across the class. Backed my son into a bookshelf and then hit him so hard in the face with the metal legs of the chair that it caused SEVEN stitches. My son TOOK A BLOW TO THE FACE WITH A CHAIR!! The director told me they were taking the matter very seriously and the other child would face expulsion. I decided to set up a meeting with the owner the moment I got off. I have NEVER felt so mistreated in my life. She lacked compassion and understanding. My sons injuries were nothing to her. She talked down to me. She talked down about my son and wouldn't listen to a word I said. Had I known my son was going to a school run by such a frigid person, I would have never enrolled him. She looked me in the eyes and told me I should be THANKFUL my son only had seven stitches because parents lose their children to death everyday. As that is true, it shows her lack of sympathy toward my son and I. The other child is still attending the school and going to class as per usual. As a parent, I would like to know if my son were in a class with such a violent child. My son has been removed from the school and I feel so grateful that I don't have to worry about his well-being. Please think twice about allowing your child to attend such a volatile facility.

Laugh And Learn
Hi Karen! We at Laugh and Learn try to do our very best when it comes to caring for, nurturing and educating each precious child that comes into our care. I am sorry if you feel that you did not get the same, but if you had brought your concerns to us, I am confident that we would have done everything to make sure that your child receives the same quality care that we give to all of our students. You are absolutely correct, our kindergarten and pre-k program is not federally regulated. It is a private program, where we can give each child personalized one on one care and so that they can learn at their own pace. Have a great day!
