David S Sneid MD
My health symptoms were life-threatening and my general Dr sent me to the hospital. I was in the hospital for 3 days, was tested and examined by several doctors. They got the symptoms out of danger, but couldn't determine the root cause. They said some things were way too high, others way too low, and I needed to see 'a specialist'. They didn't even say what kind of specialist. My general Dr sent me to Dr. Sneid. Dr. Sneid diagnosed the core cause of all my symptoms on my first visit, determined which treatment was appropriate on my second visit, and this core illness was resolved on my third visit. In the following months, all of the other illness symptoms diminished. This happened about twenty years ago. Without Dr Sneid, I would probably still be visiting doctors A, B, C, and D treating symptoms 1 thru 10 (maybe the reason they couldn't figure it out was because there were so many symptoms). But with Dr. Sneid, the core illness was quickly resolved and I'm happy, healthy, and very thankful. I wouldn't think of recommending any friend or family in the Midwest needing an endocrinologist to see anyone besides Dr. Sneid. In my experience, in our first visit he figured out what two other groups of doctors couldn't. So, if you want, or need, one of, if not the most knowledgeable, efficient, and effective endocrinologists in the KC metro, Dr Sneid is most likely who you're looking for.

Kids Kingdom Inc
My Daughter is 2 years old and attends Kid's Kingdom full time and we LOVE it!! Each morning she is excited to get ready and go to "School" which is what we call it. I made the decision to switch her from an at home daycare to Kid's Kingdom a few months ago, and the transition has been easier than I thought it would be. It only took a few days and then my daughter knew the routine and sat with her friends for breakfast. The center is clean. They also do daily sheets so I can see her activities, what she ate, how many times she went potty, and even her mood that day. :) The owner's are hands on and the teachers are sweet and focused on the kids. My daughter's skills have already improved greatly! She now knows her shapes, way more words, most colors and knows how to sit still! LOL The Meal Schedule and Food is awesome. Some mornings I wish I could hang around for the French toast it smells great! LOL! I am enjoying my experience and my daughter says she's happy which is such a great comfort. Thank you Kid's Kingdom!!

Integrative Health Ctr
Wonderful results! I started seeing Dr. Rob in early 2008 after I had tried several different traditional methods. I was in perpetual pain. It hurt to sit, to stand, to move and to walk. I was fine if I was absolutely motionless, but the moment I moved, I had extreme lower back pain. I had to get up and stretch every 20 minutes or so when seated at a table. I didn't even realize how much he had helped until recently. I come in for adjustments just once a month and after a little over three years have taken for granted just how great I've felt. I had a flare up recently and immediately called the office for an appointment. Dr. Rob fit me in between other patients and within a week I felt back to my new "normal" I can have dinner with my family, and sit at the table for family game night without uttering: "ow" if I get up. I can't thank Dr. Rob and his helpful and pleasant staff enough for getting and keeping me pain free!

Mosaic Life Care at Highland Plaza
My family (including my toddler) have been seeing Dr. Walker and we are extremely happy with his care. We find Dr. Walker knowledgeable, reasonable and cautious in dispensing medication, and keen on diagnosing. He is also very personable and he has never rushed us when we needed to discuss our ailment and treatment options. Whenever we call his office with questions, the nurses and office staff are efficient in returning our calls. I once got a return call (after hours) from Dr. Walker within a minute! When I delivered my son, Dr. Walker visited me three times in the hospital either to check up on me or to discuss my son's care. Because it is a family clinic (and not a pediatric office), we occasionally have difficulty making a last minute appointment for our son, but his office has a great Nurse Practitioner, Kathleen Mallett, and she has helped us tremendously in the past too. Overall, we highly recommend Dr. Walker and his office.

Talented Tots Learning Center
My daughter attended this daycare from March 2015 to December 2015. When we first started bringing her to Talented Tots we could not have been happier however sometime early summer things really changed. Many teachers that had been there for years started leaving. There were many times I would call to check on my daughter and I would talk to people who I had never met that were watching my daughter - this really worried and bothered me. the Director - Becky refused to provide me a list of all the people who were watching my daughter this was also a red flag. They have recently had multiple issues with State and per the MO Department of Health and Senior Services are currently under "close supervision." I would caution any parent who is considering sending their child to this facility. The Director does not care and is apathetic, the owners obviously don't care either.

Brighton Learning Center
Brighton Learning Center is hands down the best choice you can make for child care. It's so much more than just "daycare"; it's love, learning, encouragement, and so much more for your child. My child is starting kindergarten this year and I feel she could advance to 1st grade from what BLC has taught her. Their curriculum pushes your child just enough and it's in such a fun way! Teachers are always quick to update you on anything going on with your child, and the parent teacher conferences allow you to address any concerns you have. I couldn't have dreamt of a better place to take my child everyday. You'll never have to worry if they're taken care of while you're at work, because rest assured, they are.

Kids Kingdom Inc
My son has gone to school there for 2 years. He absolutely loves it. From Miss Tracy to Miss Terree, the teachers have been wonderful. They do an excellent job with him. I get daily sheets that describe his activities and meals. The food program is fantastic. The place is very clean and always seems to be improving. I feel that he is very prepared for the next level. Thank you. Edit: I liked the place so much I now have my daughter there. She's doing fantastic. She's developing social skills, learning everyday, and is always ready to go to. School. Thanks Louie and Raylene

Happy Day Preschool
If I could give 10 stars to rate this daycare I would . Best daycare experience hands down! I will forever recommend Happy Day Preschool as my number one choice. My daughter has been attending Happy Day Preschool since she was 4 months and will be there until she starts kindergarten, so will my future kids. The Daycare owners to the teachers are very genuine and attentive to each kid. Pricing is reasonable as well. You get what you pay for and in this case at Happy Day much more! -signed a very happy and pleased parent #TeamHappyDayPreschool :)

Punkin Patch
I absolutely loves this center. My daughter has been going there since 1-1/2 year old and she's almost 4 now. The staff is awesome! Some of the teachers/helpers have been at the daycare as children. They have a very low turnover, which is great. They try to get the kids out to play any chance they get, and if the weather is bad, they gather them in the auditorium/kitchen area where they can actually run! The director (Lilly) is also very sweet. I wish they woud accept kids past the pre-K age... I highly recommend this daycare to anybody!

Encompass Medical Group Northland
This office has the best staff! And Dr. Shreya Shivathirthan is my favorite doctor! I have been going to her for over seven years and she is the best! When I have something wrong she takes me seriously and takes great care of me! Her nurse Nick is great too! Her medical assistants are awesome too! Everyone is very nice at the desk. It's a great place to go when your not feeling your best. Dr Shreya is a very smart doctor! She really knows her stuff! I highly recommend her!
Tips & Advices
This depends on the facility. Patients should call to find out if they'll need a referral from their physician prior to making an appointment.
Aside from hyperbaric oxygen treatment, most wound care centers offer:
  • Debridement: The removal of dead skin and tissue surrounding the wound. This can be done surgically, using a whirlpool bath, syringes, enzymes that dissolve the tissue, or wet dressings that dry on the wound and absorb the dead tissue.
  • Dressing: Wrapping the wound in a protective film, gauze, gel, or foam.
  • Compression stockings: Tight-fitted fabric sheaths that encourage blood flow.
  • Artificial skin: A covering that is applied to the wound for several days as it heals.
  • Ultrasound: The use of sound waves to promote healing.
  • Growth factor therapy: The use of materials naturally produced by the body to encourage quick cell growth.
  • Negative pressure therapy: Creating a vacuum around a wound to encourage faster blood flow to the area.
Depending on where the treatment is administered, hyperbaric oxygen treatment  can cost $100- $1,000. After insurance is applied, patients may have a copay of $10 -$50 or a coinsurance fee of 10 percent to 50 percent.
Most wounds should heal within two to six weeks. An individual should seek chronic wound treatment if a wound has not begun to heal after two weeks or is not completely healed after six.
Most health insurance plans cover wound care. Patients should check with the clinic and their health insurance provider before seeking treatment to be sure.
