Vee Village Service
My relationship with this shop started when I took my 99 VW Jetta in for its 100,000 mile service. They charged me half what the dealership wanted. I have been taking my cars and trucks to Vee Village for over 10 years now. They don't just work on Volkswagens. They've taken good care of my Ford F150 and my Honda Civic. They're located in downtown Kansas City, right next to Hallmark, where I work. These guys are so kind, they drive me to work and pick me back up, even for an oil change, for free. Not many shops have this kind of service. They might not be able to fix a problem for me the first time I bring in my car, but they have the ability to work on the problem until they get it fixed without charging me an arm and a leg to do it. I'm very thankful for the guys at this shop and I highly recommend them to you.

Economy Auto Salvage
Jason was AWESOME! Jason and I chatted by e-mail and texted pictures of what I needed. It was great that their team was able to pull the piece I needed . . then place it on my car! The parts weren't damaged, as this team knows 'what/how/when/where' they were doing and where to do it. Have already recommended Economy Auto Salvage to several of my friends! Not sure what their "return policy" is.. but I know I won't need to return . . unless it's for more parts for my Import Car. Thanks Jason!

Avenue Auto Wrecking
Once I went there, no place else would do. If the part wasn't there, they found it. Didn't know them at first, when I got some large items, then checked on some little stuff, Wren the owner said I could have them, the car was going to the scrapper any way...WOW. Don't expect free, but do expect a good inventory and polite, knowledgeable people that know what part crosses over. Tell them J B sent you, cause I go there all the time and you may get a break. REAL GOOD FOLKS !!.

When I saw how great the Shamerrific made my car look after getting a hand car wash with it from K & C Solutions, I bought one for. I was really impressed that I could wash and dry my own car using only water. The best thing about the Shamerrific is that it leaves behind no dirt, scratches, or streaks. I have had mine for over a month now and it's still going strong.

Rich Industries Auto Parts
The Richardson's are great to do business with. I have known them for 40 years and have purchased parts since 1972. Years ago I needed a fender for an old Honda Civic for my daughter and the next morning I looked out at the driveway and there it was waiting for me. Thanks Dan! I still owe you one big favor for that fender. Herb

C & H Auto & Truck Salvage
A no nonsense business that knows automobiles. I found them to be very helpful as well as knowledgeable about parts. Their prices are reasonable and their inventory is extensive. They have been in business over 41 yrs. My experiences have been very positive. I have found parts with them that were not available elsewhere.

Muffler Doctor
They are very nice. They do not over charge and always tell you what the price will be before they start. Above that, the price doesn't change after the work is started. I have been to other places for the same reasons, my brakes. These guys found the problem and fixed it. It took less than time than I thought.

Muffler Doctor
HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! They do what needs to be done for a good price. I had 'em weld a piece of pipe in to patch my exhaust, for $25 dollars, the first time I went to them.(20 years ago) Been goin back ever since for exhaust work. They always take great care of me. Very friendly also.

K & C Auto Detailing Solutions
I have never had a better detail than the ones I recieve from K & C Solutions. If you get a detail or a $3.00 car wash, ask for Kevin, he does the best work and is the fastest. He is the only person that I trust to detail and wash my car everytime and never disapoints.
Tips & Advices
Depending on the part and its overall quality, a good amount of money can be saved by purchasing aftermarket parts versus OEM parts. But aftermarket parts that are low in price might also be lower in quality and could do more harm than good to your car, or they may need to be replaced more frequently than a more expensive counterpart. This could lead to saving some money in the short term, but spending more than anticipated in the long term.
The type of tires being purchased is the most significant determinant of their price. SUV tires are more costly than average car tires. And high-performance tires are more costly than economy grade tires. On average, standard tires for an average-sized vehicle are around $100 per tire. Standard tires for an SUV are around $150 and pick-up truck tires are about $200 on average. Some dealers offer discounts if purchasing more than one tire.
Car inspections typically take about an hour. However the wait time can be longer depending on how busy the shop is. Call ahead for an appointment to avoid long wait times.
Depending on the manufacturer, certain aftermarket parts can be just as reliable as Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) parts. But one item within a vehicle, like oil filters for instance, could have multiple manufacturers and there could be inconsistencies in quality among them.
Costs of replacing a windshield can vary greatly depending on a variety of factors:
  • Vehicle make and model
  • How much of the cost insurance will cover
  • Whether the windshield installers come to your location or you bring the vehicle to them
  • Standard service costs of the windshield installers
Generally, newer and higher-end vehicles cost more to have their windshields replaced because certain manufacturers use modified or proprietary glass types.
