Concrete Design of KC, Inc.
Concrete Design of KC is the best company I have ever had do concrete work for me. Over the past 50 years I have had 3 driveways replaced. This time I had the driveway widened, front porch and steps replaced, back patio and steps replaced, and a concrete pad removed. I was given ideas during the estimate to make everything look and work better. Before Concrete Design of KC started working the foreman went over everything with me and made sure that’s what I wanted done. During the work if the foreman saw something he didn’t like it was corrected right then. This crew worked as a team and you could tell they had done this for years. The cleanup was great – very important part of the job. Two days later they came back with the dirt I needed and made sure I was pleased with the backfill. This is a fantastic company to do business with, I simply cannot say enough on how wonderful this company is. I want to thank everyone but most of all the CREW that did the work – Thank You for your superior work.

They did not pay us for the work we did on their project in beacon hill kc mo. We are having to take them to court because max won't answer our calls after we helped him get a basement ready for concrete. Screwed us out of $300 and also an extra days labor. Said checks in the mail never came.......thanks devco

It's hard to find reputable contractors to even show up for an appointment on an estimate and then afterwards actually getting the estimate to you. But thankfully Concrete Design isn't like other contractors. They actually care about their clients and their business.

Great Place to find amazing Kansas City and Midewest Contractors! If you're looking to find amazing Kansas City contractors you are in the right place. They differentiate themselves from other directories by not allowing contractors to pay them to be in their KCHomeAdvisor directory. This gives them no incentive to give you a bad contractor. I definitely love this idea and overall business model five stars for sure!

Pretty happy with the work we received on our decorative wood patio. I am glad we choose this stamp because it is unique and just looks amazing. The crew that came out did excellent and they cleaned up quickly leaving us to relax on our new patio. We can't wait to show it off to all of our family and friends.

From Jane's Email: E.L. Construction & the crew scraped all the flaked paint off my house, primed and then painted 2 coats of Sherwin Williams this summer. I was very impressed! They were on time each day, clean and the crew was fantastic!! HIGHLY recommend for exterior painting! - Jane K.
Tips & Advices
According to experts a bathroom remodel might not recoup return on the original investment. However, it is one of the key renovations that can make potential buyers want to make an offer…or not. Homebuyers look for bathrooms with updated plumbing, convenient layout, and a pleasant aesthetic. That said, in older houses, where bedrooms far outnumber bathrooms, it’s advised to spend the money on a bathroom addition instead of gut-renovating the original bathroom.
Yes, bathroom remodeling contractors often offer financing. Many homeowners prefer to refinance or take out a home equity line of credit. But others will see if the contractor can connect them with a lender who will set up some other type of loan. There are many types of loans available: secured and unsecured, personal, and those backed by the Federal Housing Administration.
The price range for toilets varies from $200 into the many thousands because of variables like best-flushing performance (single vs. dual flush), self-cleaning capabilities, design (one- or two-piece), and special features, like heated seats. Cosmetic elements, such as the color and the material of the toilet, also factor into the cost. Experts agree that the most expensive toilets do not necessarily function the best.
Heated bathroom floors are a popular way to warm up typically cold tile floors and keep people comfortable in their bathrooms, even when it’s chilly outside. The proper term is “radiant heat,” and it describes various methods of heating from under the floors. The least expensive method, which is popular for small spaces, uses an electric mat. Larger spaces might have electric heated coil systems installed under the tile, or hydronic systems where heated water is run through pipes below the flooring.
A bathroom renovation usually takes two to three weeks, if it’s a relatively small and straightforward job. Expect larger or more complicated remodels to last five to six  weeks--not including any delays due to special material or permits. If you’re doing a gut renovation, which includes permits, specially ordered materials, and possibly up to a dozen different tradespeople, you should realistically expect it to take  three to five  months to complete.
