Kar Mar Tire
Todd & his staff have been servicing my vehicles for years. I pass at least 6 auto repair shops on my way to Kar Mar because I know they will take great care of me. Their sound advice, integrity and competitive prices can NOT be beat.

Weavers Complete Automotive Repair
Ron Weaver of Weavers Complete Automotive Repair did a great job repairing my parents' 2002 Toyota Camry following a collision the insurance company said resulted in a total loss. Ron understood my parents' desire to retain their low mileage car and developed a repair plan that enabled them to do just that. Both the estimate and repair were completed in a timely manner. In addition, Ron's pricing was a welcomed relief! The pictures show the before and after. Paint was a perfect match. Thanks Ron!

Used Tires Express
No stars would be a more accurate ranking. The owner does not stand behind what he sells. Claims to no sell tires with plugs in them, however he did and now refuses to stand behind it. Also, the owner was a bitter person on the phone attacking me and my family basically stating we are liers and implying we put the plug in the tire. Consulted another tire dealer. They stated this tire could not have been patched and plug would have not been reliable in the place it was plugged. I was referred to this place by 3 family members that will also no longer use this shop. Beware, if you have a complaint the owner will spill out at the mouth attacking you and not ever live up to a honest business owner. I never asked for a replacement or refund. He assumed everything and had no solution to offer except he didn't want to do business with people like me. I bet most people are like me and want a product to be represented correctly at purchase. He'll lose my family's business over $35.

Bare Bones Auto Repair
O.K. Bare Bones isn't the fastest place too go. BUT if you ask he will tell you an accurate timeline. I use them on all of my vehicles and have never had to question the quality of workmanship. People need to remember that when people review places they usually only do it because they have a gripe. I would highly recommend these guys for both price and workmanship...

Steve's Service Center
Took my car to them when the engine light came on. Sat there all morning, then was told he couldn't check it because my car was too old. I told them year, make, and model when I made the appt! Not long after,I started to have problems with it running hot and the radiator would be empty. Was told I needed a radiator. When I told him it WAS a new one he checked again...made a mistake; nothing was wrong. Maybe it accidentally leaked out. Kept happening and now I have head gasket issues. Charged me 100.00 to pour a temporary fix in. About a month ago, had car towed to Steve's for starter Changed battery cables instead. Now,after multiple service calls tows and missed work, I finally got the starter I asked for. Checked price at Auto Zone REALLY padded that bill!My son went for an oil change. Got an inspection instead Imagine his shock to find he'd passed with bald tires and other issues. He told me then I should find a new mechanic. I may be a slow learner, but eventually I do get it.

Bare Bones Auto Repair
Took my car in to have it looked at to see what was wrong with it. It was a wheel bearing. I dropped it off Sunday night. I had to call Tues. To find out status. Still not fixed. I was told he would get to it on Wed. Never did. I ended up getting my car back on Fri. With nothing done. I ended up doing it myself.

Bare Bones Auto Repair
My son was visiting Concord, NC where his transmission went out. He called Bare Bones and they made a great deal with him. I paid him via credit card over the phone and we were promised that the transmission would be rebuilt in 3 days. It took more than a week and then it still wasn't working right. It has now been a month. My son is homeless in Concord waiting on his truck. He has lost both of his jobs back home and is wondering where his next meal will come from. The owner is unresponsive. We will be contacting the authorities to get the truck back as well as the money paid!!!!! Avoid this shop at all costs!!!

Tips & Advices
You should change your oil filter whenever you change your oil, that is, approximately every 7,500 miles.
A oil filter is a device that helps remove contaminants from motor oil as it passes through the engine. A pump pushed the oil through the filter where it is strained and goes back to the engine.
High-mileage oil contains special conditioners that are said to help prevent gaskets from drying out and thus preventing leaks. This can be beneficial to engines with many miles on them.
Synthetic oil costs more than conventional oil, but the price is offset by the need for less frequent oil changes due to the oil’s durability.
Tools needed to change your own oil include jack stands or ramps, a wrench, an oil filter wrench, an oil drip pan, funnel, replacement oil filter, and replacement oil.
