Walk Your Dog Club
A-Plus!!When dreary, wet weather has our Beagles housebound (they have physical problems as well), it is such a blessing to have a place to take them, with no notice! I do not jog, but the track is wonderful to walk around at my own pace. Dennis runs some with the kids, and we throw balls, enjoying the time there. Exercise equipment abounds .The ambiance is wonderful, with "fruited" water, snacks, fireplace, tv, music! One may just sit and relax, if "down-time" is needed!!The staff's attention to the dogs (all breeds and sizes) is amazing! Walk Your Dog is a unique, one-of-a-kind place,to be investigated.Prices are very reasonable, too. Reflexology and massage are available for humans. (nice humans are present to socialize with as well. All-in-all, Walk Your Dog Club is a great addition to Kalispell and the surrounding areas!! Connie & Dennis

Lucky Dog Day Camp
Carol is Amazing, especially in dealing with our Roger who can be and is at times, a "handful"!! She knows canine behavior, as if she can "read minds"! (I call her a "voodoo" person). Carol went out of her way to help us with Roger after his double ACL surgery, coming to our house on a weekend!! Roger actually respects and obeys Carol; we drive up for an eye drop administration which he will not let us administer. She and Marie have a special way with the pups.Socialization is so important for our Senior Beagles; they love being with their Friends. And they love Carol and Marie.

Walk Your Dog Club
I really enjoy the Walk Your Dog Club and so does my dog. It's the perfect place for both of us to exercise and socialize. The upstairs off leash track is amazing. The day care they provide is excellent. The entire staff is very knowledgeable in the care of dogs. They give each of them love, attention, and exercise.Bev G

Ashland Boarding Kennel
We have been bringing our two dogs to this kennel for years. They recognize the driveway now and are so excited to run and play with their "new friends" every time I leave them. I know they are loved and well taken care of. She knows the needs of each and every dog that stays. We are so lucky to have her watch our much loved puppy-dogs!
Tips & Advices
Pets that do not get along with other animals may incur an additional fee. Some facilities have special solitary sleeping and play animals for these types of pets.
A checklist for what to bring to a pet kennel includes:
  • Vaccination records
  • A favorite toy or blanket
  • Food and feeding instructions (if the pet has dietary restrictions or is a picky eater)
  • Medication (if necessary, in its original bottle and with written instructions)
Some pet kennels have veterinarians as part of their daily staff, while others only have vets part time or on call.
Most kennels can provide basic care such as administering medications, but owners of pets with serious medical issues should choose a facility with a veterinarian on call.
Bordetella, commonly known as kennel cough, is highly contagious, and most dogs catch it at least once in their lifetimes. As such, all dogs should be vaccinated at least 7 days before boarding.
