Great company to turn to if you need someone local that provides excellent work for a quality price. Me and my wife had moved into our new house 2 months ago, and upon moving in we noticed various leaks and we did not know the cause. So, after 2 months we were tired of leaks coming through our living room and keeping a bucket there to sustain the water. We called Steves Plumbing Services to get a feel for them and how they do business. I talked to the Owner Steve, and met with one of their plumbers, Chris. He was knowledgeable about all sorts of leaks and he was able to narrow in on our apparent problem and fix it. He did not need any direction and did not require any supervision. I know if I have future issue with leaks, I can contact Steve's Plumbing services to accommodate me.

Steves Plumbing Service
These plumbing contractors came the highest recommended on the island from mutual friends, acquaintances, family members, you name it. They were definitely not strangers to a compliment or two. On those recommendations, my wife and I decided to enlist their services. We were not disappointed whatsoever. We met up with one of their plumbers, Dan. He was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. He showed up on time with a professional appearance and attitude. He quickly determined the cause of our leaks and was able to pinpoint the best way to repair them. We saved a lot of money, time, and overall headache calling out Steve's company. Would hire them again in a heartbeat.

Fantastic Service! I had the most professional service I have experienced with plumbing. Steve really knows what he is doing and I am very glad I called. Highly recommend and would definitely use them again. I had a toilet leaking and they gave me the choice to fix it or replace it. I chose to replace it due to the age. They even installed a water saving toilet to save me money on my water bill.

Tips & Advices
The following tools and common household objects can be used to clean drains at home:
  • A plunger
  • A drain snake
  • Baking soda
  • Vinegar
  • Grease-fighting dish soap
Homeowners can mix boiling water with any of the last three products to break up grease and grime.
The main ingredients in clog removal liquid products are sodium hydroxide and sodium hypochlorite. According to the Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry, both break down into relatively harmless components when it comes into contact with water or soil. However, both substances cause mild irritation to skin and internal tissues.
Also known as a drain auger, a drain snake is a coiled device around ΒΌ-inch thick. To use a drain snake, put the end into the entrance of the drain. Turn the handle to force the snake deeper, using extra pressure to force it through the bend in the pipe. Keep turning until the snake hits the clog, then either pull the snake and remove the obstruction or force it through. Once the snake is out of the drain, run the water on full blast for a few minutes to ensure the obstruction is completely removed.
Plungers don't damage residential pipes, but the force created by the act of plunging weakens the seal between the toilet and the floor.
Many plumbers, both local businesses and nationwide chains, offer emergency or same-day services.
