I went to Joseph Todd, PC for a personal injury auto accident. First, he came off very rude and abrupt and I thought maybe that's good for an attorney to fight for me in winning my case. However , it turned out disastrous. I needed to find a different chiropractor to go to to continue treatment yo support my claim and he recommended NAC. Come to find out when I got a whole if the itemized bill they were charging me for things I was not getting. Later I consulted with Kosrph Todd I would pursue it on court and he pretentiously acted as if he was for me telling me what I needed to do. However, he quickly stated don't you file or go anything let me but , I have to contact them first. I literally called his office atleast once a week attempting to get an update on whether he filed and he dodged me like the plague and lied to me on numerous times when I did get to talk to him saying they were hard to reach which, it did not dawn on me that he never had my best interest. MY SETTLEMENT MONEY WAS TIED UP WITH HIM IN ESCROW AND HE FILED SUIT AGAINST ME WITH THE CHIROPRACTOR STATING REALLY NASTY THINGS SIDING WITH THE NORTH ATLANTIC CHIROPRACTOR IN DULUTH, GA WHO HE RECOMMENDED ME TO. SO, ALL ALONG HE DELIBERATELY IGNORED ME AND DRAGGED IT ALONG ALL TO MAKE SURE HE GOT HIS MONEY AND THEY GOT THEIRS , EVEN THOUGH THEY PADDED THE BILL TREMENDOUSLY. He EVEN FURTHER LIED SAYING HE WOULD GIVE THE MONEY IN ESCROW THAT WAS OF MY SETTLEMENT AND DIDN'T. AND HE SET IT UP THAT IF I DIDNT RESPOND IN COURT BY A CERTAIN TIME ALL YHE MONEY FROM THE ERRONEOUS BILL WOULD AUTOMATICALLY GO TO THRM ANYWAY. HE NEVER JAD MY BEDT INTEREST AS A CLIENT FROM THE START!!! I ONLY WALKED AWAY WITH A FEW $100 FROM A SETTLEMENT OF $10,000. And NO I DIDNT HAVE ANY OTHER BIG BILLS COMING FROM THE SETTLEMENT JUST THE RIP OFF CHIROPRACTOR AND JOSEPH TODD, PC ATTORNEY FEES WHICH HE DIDNT EVEN CARE TO LOWER HIS PRICE SOME KMOWKNG I WALKED AWAY WITH VERY LITTLE BECAUSE HE SAID IT. IF YOU DO ANYTHING ELSE FIND ANOTHER ATTORNEY FOR ABY LEGAL PROBLEM. TAKE HEED TO MY WORDS FIND ANOTHER ATTORNEY. BEING THAT ATTORNEYS COME A DIME A DOZEN. Lastly, a tell tell sign is anytime you see an attorney handling multiple legal matters such as, divorce, personal injury, real estate, and etc. that should be a sign they are money hungry and spreading themselves so then that they will not have level of expertise because they are dabbling into too many subject matters. This sound of too been a fair warning to me.

I used Mr Todd for my divorce and long story short it was a nightmare with Mr Todd making things worse than they needed to be. Then at the end of it all Mr Todd billing records and after State Bar hearing I received around $5,000 back into my wallet.
Tips & Advices
Each state has different mandates on how child support is determined. But there are some basic factors that underline how costs are determined in each state, including:
  • Income level of parent that needs to pay support (in the case of joint custody, the costs are determined by income of each party and the percentage of time the child spends with each parent)
  • Financial needs of child
  • Child’s standard of living before the divorce occurred
This is a divorce in which one party does not have to prove that the other’s actions lead to a deterioration of the marriage. The reason for divorce is listed as "irreconcilable differences" or an "irreparable breakdown of the marriage,” meaning the marriage was no longer working and could not be repaired.
Family law attorneys are helpful in cases where the two parties are not on amicable terms. The lawyers can act as intermediaries between the two parties and help them come to any settlement agreements, however long that may take. Lawyers can also help parties navigate tricky state laws regarding settlement agreements and child custody, thus expediting the process.
A contested divorce is one in which the parties cannot agree on either the necessity of the divorce as a whole, or how assets (money, property, etc.) and child custody should be split between them in the divorce. An uncontested divorce is when the parties are in agreement on how assets and child custody will be split between them. These divorces can sometimes be handled without hiring a lawyer.
It is possible for a couple to get a divorce without hiring a family law attorney. If the two parties are in agreement on how finances, child custody, properties, etc., will be split, then they can file the necessary court documents themselves and avoid the services of a lawyer.
