Malec, Teresa, MD
Very RUDE doctor. At the last appointment she told me she couldn't help and I was wasting her time. I wanted a second opinion (which another, smarter, professional doctor gave me), and should never be talked to that way. I was so mad I was charged for nothing. I have gone to this hospital for 26 years. I was BORN here and Malec is the reason I left. Manager told me she has been getting lots of complaints like mine. Often seeing she is accepting patients... wonder why...

Most caring, detail-oriented doctor you will ever have the opportunity to be treated by. Personally reviews all labs and calls with the first sign of any medical concerns. "Thank You" for caring, it's not just a job!

neither number works and the second number is actually the FBI. Someone from the health and human services department needs to fix these listings

Nicholas J Masciotra MD
After seeing Dr. Masciotra for multiple years and h being very aware of my condition and how rapidly it exacerbates, I have been extremely ill for over s week. He did prescribe an antibiotic which I greatly appreciate, however as the problem rapidly worsened and my sinuses swelled closed I phoned his service Sat. Only to ask if he would phone in a steroid which helps almost immediately. I received a call back from his answering service and was told he would not call anything in over the weekend... Even knowing very well the problem and rapid exacerbation. He had them tell me to call office Mon.--LABOR DAY! For an appt. I called 2 weeks ago and the "couldn't fit me in til after mid- Sept.! Yet he thinks I'm not trying to get in to SEE him!! I hope he has a wonderful partying weekend while I'm in bed sitting upright with no sleep because my sinus cavities are swollen shut. And painful, fever, swollen face, etc. steroids are not controlled, addicting and he has to puts me on them when I get this ill. Thank you Dr. Masciotra I hope yo enjoyed your weekend.

Massoud, Samuel M, MD
I trust Dr. Massoud with my life. He's never, ever been wrong in diagnosing me and his bedside manner is impeccable! I referred my best friend to him and she cried because she said she never had a doctor that was as busy as he was that day, yet he took the time to calm her down and LISTEN to her most of all. He is the BEST!! You are important to him if you are his patient. Other doctors treat you like numbers. Dr. Massoud goes above and beyond what any patient would expect and he's also on the Board of Doctors at Memorial Medical Center. Dr. Massoud is the entire package. It just doesn't get any better than him!

Golden LivingCenters
This is not the place for a loved one. Short staffed, the surgery sites were not washed just re-bandaged, no bath in 2 weeks, if the residents make noise at night the doctor was called and they are put on a med to calm them down or make the sleep. The food is bland and they pay no attention to special diets such as cardiac or diabetic. Their most given foods are pork, tuna salad and canned fruit. Their physical therapy is great but other than that, there are better rehabs nearby. If you have to use this one be sure to visit everyday ask about the care, the meds and please just talk to their nurses to ensure you loved one has the best of care.

Tips & Advices
OB/GYNs learn to treat infertility as part of their standard education. OBGYNs who further their training in reproductive endocrinology and infertility are known as fertility specialists.
Hormone replacement therapy (HRT) is a treatment where medication is used to replace hormones a woman's body does not create naturally. Women are prescribed either estrogen alone or a mix of estrogen and progesterone. The former is given to women who've had hysterectomies, while the latter is for postmenopausal women. HRT used to be a common treatment, but doctors have prescribed it less often in recent years, as concerns of negative side effects increased.
Endometriosis is a chronic condition where uterine tissue (endometrium) grows in areas outside the uterus. This can cause extreme pain, especially around menstruation and during sex. Other symptoms include infertility, chronic fatigue, and painful urination or bowel movements during menstruation. In addition, many women with endometriosis also have allergies, frequent yeast infections, or sensitivity to certain chemicals.
Morning sickness is a common pregnancy symptom that includes nausea and occasional vomiting. Despite its name, morning sickness can occur at any time of day. The exact reason for this condition isn't clear, although most believe it results from hormone changes affecting muscle contraction and relaxation in the stomach and intestines. Another theory suggests morning sickness is caused by an abundance of intestinal bacteria in pregnant woman.
OBGYNs can prescribe or perform the following types of birth control:
  • Contraceptive pills
  • Birth control shots
  • Implants
  • Diaphragms
  • Vaginal rings
  • Cervical caps
  • Intrauterine devices
  • Tubal ligation
  • Hysterectomies
Women do not need to see an OBGYN to obtain over-the-counter forms of birth control such as male condoms, female condoms, or sponges.
