wanted to start by saying that I have horrible credit and didn’t know where to begin when my car broke down. I am like everyone else at one time I had perfect credit but life happens and I was unable to keep my credit in good standing. I knew I couldn’t go to a regular bank so I searched bad credit financing and Shannon popped up. I was very put off by the reviews but remembered hearing one time that if you have a good experience you may tell one person but If you have a bad experience you tell everybody. So I ignored the reviews and gave them a try. All I have to say is thank god I did. I met Paul Reis at the Johnston location. His knowledge of their programs and how to work the banks against each other to get the best approval was amazing. Within 1.5 hours I am driving my new car with a lifetime warranty and on the road to rebuilding my credit. He also went as far as to give info on additional on ways to improve my credit score even faster. Im telling you I am proof that everyones situation is different and unless you give them a try you will never know. Take my word this is the person you want to sit with when you buy your next car.

For a while now I have been looking for a way around my credit problems to get a car. Shannon motors but more importantly because of Wayne and Paul I am leaving with my new car within 48 hours of my first visit. I couldn't possibly explain exactly how pleased I truly am with my overall experience through this review alone. The honesty and integrity I have been provided with from Wayne leaves me with confidence and 100% belief that I am driving away with what I deserve, I am more than happy with my experience at the Johnston Shannon motors thanks to their staff. Thank you Wayne, Paul, Alicia, and Scott for guiding me in the right direction. They go further than "just making a sale". They will do the same for you as well. Alright so I go in for a big repair. Spend a good deal of money ($3k). This shop does mediocre work as best. I was given what I thought was a great warranty, but once the work was done the warranty does not cover overheating and oil leaking (something that was not told to me before going into this fix). I get my car back, car leaks oil really bad, and he says I have to come in and spend more money. The guy didn't hook up the climate control system either. So I take it in, he fixes it free of charge, and it takes him 3 days to hook up my AC again. And now that its cold out, I tried the heat and it doesn't work. Who repairs cars with out making sure everything works the way it did before completing the transaction? I am not going to take it back to then be stranded with out a car again for 3 days for a simple issue that was his fault. Prices seem fair, but work done does not match.

My only positive experience with Shannon Motors Johnston was dealing with Carmine. He is a person who treats his customers with respect and returns telephone inquiries promptly. Unfortunately, Carmine went out of town shortly after I purchased the vehicle. In his absence, the car had troubles and the service department tried to remedy the problem...they were unsuccessful and the car was sent to a local chrysler dealership. Having to deal with the upper management was a complete nightmare and was a frightening experience, especially for a single woman needing a car to provide for her family. Thank God I had Carmine on my side. I hope Shannon Motors realizes what an asset they have with Carmine working for them and not someone else!!!!

Bobby Giguere was awesome from the start!! He went over and above to make my experience comfortable and no hassle before and after the sale. Jarrod was also pleasant but I am still waiting for my Honda CR-V floor mats that were part of my original package. Hopefully he comes through since my rugs are going to be jeopardized. I did have a service issue that even Jarrod said he heard and felt a thumping sound in the front end when he drove it but service said nothing found and I can bring for a 2nd opinion elsewhere, which I will before the 30 day warranty is up. So, not as impressed with the service department. I do love my new SUV and hopefully the experience continues to be a positive one with Shannon Motors. Thank you.

I was looking for a new to me car and came across Electra during my searches. I'm from Massachusetts and the prices were so much better compared. I went down and although the original suv I wanted didn't work out in with financing, Leigh found one that would. I got the vehicle on December 22. The car ended up having issues that could not be foreseen. They went above and beyond to get things fixed and made sure I had something to drive each time. They never gave me a hard time and even though it took some time to get everything squared away it is a great vehicle. I never thought I would be able to say they are truly a honest used car dealer...Leigh, Anthony and Dave thank you so much. I will be sending business your way.
