There drivers are nice and that's the best thing I can say. I've gotten my heating oil from Volunteer for around 3 or more years now. Not anymore. Almost every time I've called them and asked if they could delivery on a certain day which is my day off. That way I can be there when they deliver to make sure they find the right house, use the right tank, have the dogs put up, pay them etc. they've only actually made it on the day they were supposed to be here 1 time. They either say they ran out of oil before they got to me or they had a break down, last time they only had half enough oil to fill my tank even though I told them how much I needed so then had to reschedule later for them to come back and go through the whole problem again. This last time, I called and told them I had one day off during the week and not again for at least two weeks. They tell me sure they can get it there that day, their truck already has deliveries scheduled in my area. So great, my one day off, I sit and wait and wait and finally when it hasn't been delivered by that evening I call to see if they are still out making deliveries or what is the hold up. Then I'm told that the truck didn't even have deliveries in this area today so I wouldn't be getting any oil. They asked when I wanted to schedule another delivery, I said never mind, and hung up. I will be calling other oil companies for my oil from now on. I always pay in full on day of delivery so I'll see if another oil company wants my money. I would rather pay more somewhere else and actually have them deliver when promised .
