The owner (Robert Combs)and a helper showed up nearly two hours late. Had to be told to use a hose to rinse and fully drain the solids from the tank. Installed a riser but didn't have the bottom sleeve. A riser is a round pipe installed over the square hole left when the septic tank has been found and the lid is removed. The riser allows for the new cover to be raised to the surface of the lawn. In the future, no digging is involved and pumping is much cheaper and a breeze. A very important part of this task is to convert the square hole atop the septic tank into a round one. Therefore an adapter is permanently attached over the hole into which the riser pipes afterwards snap into forming a water and gas proof seal. Not having one and having absolutely no clue what I was talking about, they asked me to provide some plastic to stuff into the hole around the base of the round pipe to prevent dirt and groundwater from flowing into the septic tank where the four corners of the septic tank hole were wide open. I was absolutely astonished and should have thrown them off the properly at that point. They didn't bring enough screws to connect the sections of the riser or cover and had to ask to borrow a screwdriver. They broke their shovel removing the lid and asked to borrow one of mineAlthough they used a backhoe, they simply piled the excess dirt in a large mound atop the riser cover and assured me that in a few months it would settle right down and look just fine. I asked them why in gods' name would I pay to have the lid brought up to ground level to have you put half a ton of dirt over it? They grudgingly cleared it away. When this hideous job was complete I was told that it came in $210 more than the estimate. No explanation. Would not leave until paid. I paid with a credit card and have disputed the charge. Do not do business with these people. It will cost me hundreds of dollars to have the riser excavated and properly installed.Last point. If you are expecting someone to show up at your home, that even remotely resembles the nice pleasant, professional looking, uniformed folks on their web site, you are going to be very disappointed.

They came when they said they would. Worked on the problem and fixed it. It took a while to fix all of the problems, but the charges weren't as bad as I thought they'd be. Guys were nice and very tolerant of my dogs. Will definitely use the next time I need a plumber.

Called this guy. He said he would charge $50 for the service call and $50 / hour for the labor. I agreed and two guys came to fix the problem within 30 minutes. I asked how much after the job was completed, but they just said 'I will e-mail you the invoice.' Got the invoice in a few hours and was charged $149 for the labor only (not including fees for the service call and materials). I asked why. He said 2 men and 1.5 hours. Stay away from this big liar, otherwise you will be surprised.

Tips & Advices
Usually, a leaky or dripping faucet is an easy fix that can be done by anyone who is even slightly handy with tools.. To fix it, first shut off the water under the sink then remove any decorative parts of the faucet and replace the washer and O-ring before reassembling everything.
To keep yourself safe from fraud or a possible scam, always remember to ask plumbers for their license along with a written warranty for their labor. Besides this, further safeguard yourself by checking their references and ensure they or their company is insured and bonded to do their work.
If you're having hot water issues, you can examine the thermostat and adjust it accordingly. If you hear odd sounds coming from your water heater, it could be due to sediment building up. To get rid of this, make sure you clean out the heater every few months. However, if you hear a boiling noise, it could mean the heater is overheating and you should call a plumbing professional as soon as possible.
Frozen pipes are hazardous and can cause massive amounts of damage to your home. To prevent your pipes from freezing during the winter, run your faucets at a trickle and keep your house's heater at 55 degrees Fahrenheit or above to keep the water flowing.
  • Be mindful of how much water you use in your bathroom, kitchen and even outdoors when watering your lawn.
  • Make sure your toilet handle works properly and doesn't stick.
  • Replace old shower heads with more efficient low-flow options that can cut down on the gallons of water you use each morning.
  • Turning off the water while you brush your teeth
  • Only running your dishwasher or clothes washer when you have a full load.
