Medical Care Walk-In Clinic
In my case these people are life savers! I deal with chronic pain due to a compression fracture in 2006. I was told I would be on medication for the rest of my life but a few years ago I was told the Percocet I had been taking had destroyed my liver and kidneys. I was then told I needed OxyContin! I was barely 30 years old at that time and have small children. After 3 days of taking the smallest dose on the market (had to go to 8 different pharmacies to find it!), I had don't nothing but sleep and be sick from the OxyContin. I could not take it at all! I had heard of Suboxone but thought it was only for heroin addiction. Boy, was I wrong!!! This medication, in combination with another medication makes all the difference in the world! Does it work as well as opioids? No. BUT, if you need or want off of them and are not looking for a high, this is the difference between living and dying! (IMO!) It makes my pain manageable without making me sick or sleep all the time and I can be the mom my kids deserve for the first time since my wreck! If your coming for the right reasons, this is the way to go. If not, stay away so you don't mess it up for the rest of us that do need it! Hope this helps and you find your way as I have found mine! Good luck and God Bless!

Gray Station Neurology: Dr. Douglas A. Wright
i am very pleased with the services at Dr. Wright's office. The staff at the front desk are always very courteous snd helpful. The Nursing staff are also very kind and helpful. The other staff that I have had to see such as the Ultrasound Tech, Lab Tech, and the lady that did my EEG, all have been very pleasant and made sure I was ok and comfortable, they have went above and beyond. I have seen many doctor's trying to find something or anything that might be causing my issues and none of those Drs. could find anything and gave up on me. Thank God that I was referred to Dr. Wright, he has went above and beyond and did test after test even if I had already had it and he has found things that no one else has and he continues to keep a close eye on the things that they have found and he is still trying to find more things so that I can hopefully have a better life. He has went above and beyond and he has truly been a blessing to me, I cannot thank him and his staff for all they have done and their kindness and help. I would most definitely recommend Gray Station Neurology to any one needing their services. There is nothing I can see bad about any one or any thing..

i am extremly satisfied with the care i have recieved at dr douglas wrights office.i have been to many doctors in the past twenty years with fibromyalgia,he is the first dr that even seemed to be truly interested in my health problems, and believe me there are many.i am so thankful that i chose to this office.today i had a nerve test performed and i had swore to myself i would never have another one done because it was so painful so many years ago.i am very pleased to have had it done today,it was not painful at all and the dr was very easy with me . i would recommend this office to anyone and everyone that need neurological care. i could not be more pleased with my treatment.as far as i am concerned i will be a patient here for life. the doctor here and his staff are exceptional. have never felt more secure in the care of any physician in the past ,he has found out more about my health problems than any one else in the past and in such a short time. if you have problems that no one else has helped with do yourself a favor and visit this office.you will be glad you did ,they are the best. kathy whitson .

Odell, Robert H, MD
Recently switched from a Knoxville based clinic....they took my insurance which is almost impossible to find these days dealing w/pain issues.....(saving me around 320.00 per month plus travel fees). They are a legit pain clinic that cares. They will not load you down with medications but are more than fair dealing with legit pain needs. They are super nice...nurses.....staff....and Dr. Desiree!! They have rules but are not overly strict to those that have legit "needs" & "pain issues". If you take your meds and follow with therapy and the suggestions and tests they ask of you....you will be blessed with positive experiences and find your pain a bit more manageable !! And as long as you meet your appt. time you will find your wait and stay short compared to other places. In closing....I Ronald, feel blessed to have found them. But keep in mind THIS IS NOT A PILL MILL!

My experience with Dr. Wright and staff today was a pleasant and professional one. I had a situation which required me to visit Dr. Wright before my regularly scheduled appointment. The staff put me on a wait list and in fact accommodated my needs in a timely manner. Dr. Wright differentiates himself from other physicians by taking his time with me, I never feel rushed. He thoroughly reviews past visit notes, listens to me, and talks with me - not to me! I am most impressed that Dr. Wright has a PLAN! I also feel comfortable that Dr. Wright is up to speed on neurological innovations as he often relays information that he has gleaned from recent articles he has read. Overall, I am exceedingly pleased with Dr. Wright and his staff. Note: I also appreciate that he has a lab on premises. Jeff C.

Women's Nutritional Health Center
My families experience with Dr. Ward and his staff has been nothing but positive!!! Everything they have told us has been spot on and we are all a lot healthier because of WNH Center!!! I have seen many Doctors who have done little to help me if not made things worse. One example is my son's acne. I had been telling his doctors for years that his skin was flawless until he went on a mission trip to Haiti where he swam in a lake there. They promptly ignored me. He has been on every prescription, including Accutane with no permanent results. WNH diagnosed him with a parasite, treated him, and his skin is smooth and clear again for the first time in years. It took less than two months for his skin to recovery. Have many other results to lengthy to share. Love WNH Center!!!

Gray Station Neurology: Dr. Douglas A. Wright
I never have anything negative to say about Gray Station Neurology. Dr. Wright is very thorough and explains things well in terms that anyone can understand. The follow up care and preventative testing that I receive puts my mind at east that my migraines are not affecting me negatively. I have suffered from migraines since I was 16. In the first year of the five years I have been seeing Dr. Wright we found a regimen that now has me down to only one migraine every 3 or so months if that. Before I was having daily headaches with 1-5 migraines per month. I am so appreciative to his passion for helping people finally get some relief. I recommend Dr. Wright to anyone I talk to who tells me they suffer from migraines.

Excellent service thoughout my encounters. Initially had to reschedule appointment and phone staff was courteous and willing to help me find a time that worked with my schedule. Greeted with a smile at my arrival even though the office was busy with other check-ins. Staff is very professional, and explained the procedure in terms I could understand. Dr. Wright is very professional and personable, and often asked about my comfort level during the test. He explained the results of my test immediately. Staff seems to work well with each other and with Dr. Wright. I felt that I received optimal care in a comfortable setting, and that the staff and Dr. Wright genuinely cared about my health concerns.

Medical Care Walk-In Clinic
The above poster is rightfully agitated. This is the standard practice for such a clinic. I called today 6-2-14. It is appointment only no matter what the name says! They only have 2wk and 1mo. Appointments @ $175/325. This is still cheaper than most. This is a Mircle and Double Edged drug. It will get you off pain pills and you will not want or need the. Even if you have pain issues this helps greatly. The worst part is detixing is a pia, way worse then heroine. I went 2wks and was still suffering detox. This includes sweating/freezing, extreme mood swings (violent to crying), anxiety, restless legs, food aversion and finally insomnia. I wish you all good luck.

Because this is the second neurologist office I have been to for the same issue, I can honestly say this appointment was very refreshing. All the staff was friendly, made me feel like my time was important, clearly communicated what was going on, etc. Dr Wright actually treated me like a person, did not discount anything I said, and communicated clearly with me, making eye contact. All this may seem minimal, but the experience at the previous office, was awful! It is nice to come to the office, see the doctor and leave feeling as good as I came. My last experience brought on a full migraine plus other symptoms for 2 or 3 days. Thanks, and well done!
Tips & Advices
This depends on the facility. Patients should call to find out if they'll need a referral from their physician prior to making an appointment.
Aside from hyperbaric oxygen treatment, most wound care centers offer:
  • Debridement: The removal of dead skin and tissue surrounding the wound. This can be done surgically, using a whirlpool bath, syringes, enzymes that dissolve the tissue, or wet dressings that dry on the wound and absorb the dead tissue.
  • Dressing: Wrapping the wound in a protective film, gauze, gel, or foam.
  • Compression stockings: Tight-fitted fabric sheaths that encourage blood flow.
  • Artificial skin: A covering that is applied to the wound for several days as it heals.
  • Ultrasound: The use of sound waves to promote healing.
  • Growth factor therapy: The use of materials naturally produced by the body to encourage quick cell growth.
  • Negative pressure therapy: Creating a vacuum around a wound to encourage faster blood flow to the area.
Depending on where the treatment is administered, hyperbaric oxygen treatment  can cost $100- $1,000. After insurance is applied, patients may have a copay of $10 -$50 or a coinsurance fee of 10 percent to 50 percent.
Most wounds should heal within two to six weeks. An individual should seek chronic wound treatment if a wound has not begun to heal after two weeks or is not completely healed after six.
Most health insurance plans cover wound care. Patients should check with the clinic and their health insurance provider before seeking treatment to be sure.
