get a load of this one before you consider whether to run from this place.brought in my daughter's galaxy NOTE 3 to replace glass only. phone was practically new, only spider cracked glass, still fully functional. was quoted 60 bucks to change the glass. when i came to pick it up was informed that they were not only unable to replace the glass, but they broke the LCD in the process! at least they voluntarily admitted it (not like they could have blamed it on me because we checked together that the phone was fine except for the glass).after tapping me along for 4 weeks, they conceded that they couldn't get the parts to repair it and said they would replace it. after tapping me along for another 2 weeks i came to pick up the replacement phone. i was told that the files would be transferred to the new phone. they were not. and the phone was used junk. i was told it would be "refurbished". maybe by a blind wombat. the screen was loose with a gap and there were air bubbles under it. not obvious until i cleaned the screen with my shirt sleeve because it was filthy (maybe they figured i wouldn't notice until i left with the phone?). i was very patient until then. i was done.i said give me the cash value for my phone that YOU broke and i will replace it myself. no more time. then he starts arguing with me how much he paid for the junk replacement phone and how much he is supposed to reimburse me for the phone. i said look on ebay, the phones sell for $400+. subtract the price i was quoted for repairing my original which is $60 and just give me a round $300. never mind that my daughter was upset for 6 weeks that they left me with no phone. the guy starts showing me some used crappy phone for $250 from a seller in korea. and tells me my phone had a broken LCD so it's not worth much. when THEY are the ones who BROKE the LCD and freely admitted it. seriously.i'm livid at this point. like i am going to wait and deal with him some more? for HIM to buy some junk from korea, for 2 more weeks for it to arrive, and then to deal with these clowns again if they have to send it back. i say look man, show me the cheapest ebay listing for a good NOTE 4 from a credible US seller and give me that value. cheapest is $329. so this guy continues to argue with me over nickels and dimes. $200, $225, blah, blah. and again with the broken LCD and that he got screwed buying the junk replacement phone (for $200, riiiight). didn't want to return my trashed phone so can recover my daughter's files either. so he can use it for $30 worth of parts. i don't know what for, it's not like they can fix anything apparently (see below).i'm like, dude, don't you have a conscience? would you be satisfied if you were in my place? this is how you make it right in the end after breaking my phone and having my daughter upset for 6 weeks? managed to get back my trashed phone and $250. while i was there there were 2 other customers, and only 2. 1st guy was complaining about something not working right with his apple phone, said something about 3 weeks. the guy was therethere-ing him, it's gonna be OK. another guy said he paid for something and it's been 4 weeks and it's still not done. and he is listening to this guy respond to me and is laughing shaking his head. hmm, sounds familiar? 0 for 3. if this is the kind of experience you want, step right in folks...
