The Pet Warehouse
Bought our Morkie here last May.. Took him to the vet the following day as recommended by the sales associate.. Our puppy had a clean bill of health and is the best dog we have ever owned. I would absolutely buy from here again when shopping for our next pup. I still go in quite frequently since I buy dog food here and always look at the puppies. Yes I have seen a few dogs over time that have looked like they may be sick but that's what happens when you have a ton of babies in one area. (U find the same things at the pound)They have a vet that comes in daily. I really enjoy the fact that there is still a pet store around since there so hard to come across these days.. As far as a puppy mill they don't disclose where the dogs come from it is only assumed they come from the worst conditions not a fact.. Seems to me like there are so many horrible reviews on here but these puppies get sold so they can't be all that bad. I love this store!

The Pet Warehouse
Pet Warehouse is a one-stop shop for all your pet's needs. They offer many different puppies, kittens, snakes, birds, bunnies, lizards, fish, and the food to feed them all. This includes items such as crickets and specialty bird food. They carry salt-water fish also They have a great selection of accessories for your pets like collars and leashes. Pet Warehouse also does pet grooming. The staff is very knowledgeable and is always helpful when I have questions. I recommend Pet Warehouse as the first place you should go when looking for a new pet or when you're taking your pet shopping.

Bought my golden retriever here. Only one out of the two places in Jacksonville that sells puppies/dogs. I was helped by Chuck who informed me a lot about the puppy. Chuck also introduced me to bulk puppy treats that were $1.69/lb. Worth it!!! My puppy loves them & its cheap. You can also buy these in the bulk boxes for almost $1/lb.It's a bit pricey, I have to admit. It looks a little shady inside compared to like a PetCo or a PetSmart, but they're all about same. They have dogs, cats, snakes, rats, birds, ferrets, bunnies, rabbits, fish, and more

I love this store so much. The employees are great and the animals are awesome. I have purchased all my pets from this store and will continue to use this place. All my animals are happy and healthy. They still take care of me with my Blue and Gold Macaw. The breeder actually works there and clips her wings and shaves her beak for me. There is so much positive stuff I would love to say about this business and I can honestly say they are the best at what they do and I will never go any where else.

I have 2 Terriers who really are a handful. The folks at this kennel are the only ones I trust to keep them safe and well cared for while I am out of town. I never worry when I have to leave my babies with them. They are professional, knowledgeable, and experienced in handling dogs. My Lakeland, and Wire fox terrier's can be rambunctious, noisey and generally just a handful and they take care of them with love, caring and experience. I am impressed with how well they are cared for.

We go into pet warehouse on a regular basis. Never has anyone been rude. I have never seen a cleaner pet store and I have been in plenty. They care about their customers as well as their animals, all the animals are well cared for. I will always give them my business when I need something. This store has to compete with the big name pet stores, not an easy thing to do. They have always answered our questions and taken the time to help

Great store. The staff was very helpful. My son has bought a Black Ghost Night fish from stores all over the state and they all have died. My son bought this fish from their store and he has noticed how healthy the fish is and is a lot different from the other fish he has bought like this one. I will be buying all my pet supplies from this store.

This store has very polite and helpful employees. I have a ferret that I bought from them almost 4 years ago. I have been taking her there almost weekly to have her nails trimmed. They don't require me to make an appointment to do it, and it doesn't matter when I get there, as long as I get there before it closes at night.

The Pet Warehouse
In my opinion, the best place in town for pets and most supplies. I buy all my dog food and bird supplies here. Friendly and helpful employees. Also the only place I take my birds for beak and wing cutting. My wife and daughter like to go just to see all the birds they have.
Tips & Advices
Some pet groomers have viewing areas where owners can sit and watch their pets being treated. Most prevent owners from being in the same room as the pet, however, as the owner's presence might cause the pet to become too excited.
Pets that cannot interact with strangers do not make good professional grooming candidates. Sometimes medication can help, but some groomers don't take animals that have been sedated. If a pet becomes too unruly, a groomer may end the session entirely.
It's best to fully vaccinate pets before bringing them to their first grooming appointment. Dogs should receive the DA2PPC vaccine, which stands for canine distemper, canine andenovirus type 2, canine parvovirus, and parainfluenza. It's also a good idea to vaccinate dogs against Bordedatella (aka “kennel cough”). In fact, New York City requires dogs receive both DAPP and Bordetella shots. Cats, meanwhile, should get the FVRCP vaccine: feline viral rhinotracheitis, calicivirus infection, and panleukopenia. In addition, all pets should be up to date on their rabies shots. Owners should wait at least 24 hours after getting their pet vaccinated before bringing it to the groomers.
Technically, there is no such thing as a pet that is too old for a professional groomer. In fact, older pets with joint or mobility issues often can't groom themselves and need someone else to clean them. However, pets that are blind, deaf, or have serious medical issues might not do well at a groomer, especially if the person is inexperienced. Owners should feel free to ask potential groomers about their understanding of elderly pet issues. Often, older pets will exhibit puppy-like behavior and squirm or yelp during grooming. Alternatively, they might not be able to stand for long periods of time. As such, grooming an older pet usually takes more time than grooming a young one.
Puppies and kittens should be at least 10 weeks old before their first professional grooming session. They should be used to being gently handled by strangers and comfortable being separated from their owners for a few hours at a time.
