Aquatic Playground International
This man took $45,000 from me and abandoned the job. I have a Traumatic Brain Injury he was aware of and took advantage of. He yells, screams and throws things. I advise you not to do business with him if you want the job done

Tropical Pools
This company is absolutely awful! I have no idea how they are in business. They have cashed my check for July yet admit they have not been cleaning my pool. The pool is now dark green!! What's extremely creepy is the "pool guy" has been showing up every wed and putting tablets in the pool and acting as if he was cleaning it and asking for payments! Now they are saying sorry we don't have the man power to come clean your pool. Weirdest experience I've ever had with any type of service company! Stay away from this company

All Phase Pool Remodeling Inc
Do NOT use this company. I signed a contract in December 2016. To date, 7 months later, the job is not completed satisfactorily. The cool decking is cracked & peeling off badly. There are cracked bullnose tiles, some sort of cement stuck all over the tiles, the handrails are stained badly...just to name a few of the problems. They demanded payment half-way through the job (reputable businesses do not do that) while their workers stood around waiting. With the job literally half finished I made the mistake of paying them after speaking with the owner who was rude. & what kind of company doesn't take credit cards? Not reputable ones for sure. They did not seal the drain so we lost 48,000 gallons of water (which we paid for) before they would get someone out to fix that. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

Aqua Star Pool Svc Inc
I've been using Aqua Star for about 15 years. They were able to immediately fix an issue the company who installed my pool attempted to fix several times. Whenever I've had a problem Aqua Star has taken care of it within 1-2 days and at a very reasonable cost. They know their stuff and don't fix more than what needs to be. Recently my pool timer stopped working and I said I need a new timer. But they said no, you just need a part for the timer and that was a much cheaper repair.

Aqua Star Pool Svc Inc
I used Aqua Star for a little over 2 years and never had a single issue. When my wife stopped working and went back to school full time I thought that I would save money and try taking care of the pool myself. After only 3 months of trying to get the water as clear as it was before and lots of chemicals (that I found out later I should not have needed) I went back to Aqua Star. I didn't save that much more doing it myself and when I factor in the frustration, it is well worth the cost. Mike and Roger have always been fair and honest with me.

Asp-America's Swimming Pool Co
ASP is a professional and reliable pool company. They offer excellent, friendly service at a reasonable price. Nick the tech that solved my pool problem went out of his way to get my pool equipment operating as designed. He solved a function error in my iAqualink 2.0 that others could not or would not repair. I would highly recommend ASP for all your pool needs.

Aquatic Playground International
I had this company resurface my residential pool about 4 years ago and I had them back to do some major work for me on a commercial investment property ( 2 pools ) and they were absolutely professional, the owner took time to explain everything to me in detail and his office followed up every step of the way to ensure I was satisfied with the work in stages. Aquatic Playground is so busy being great the owner hasn't asked customers like me to post a review but as he was leaving the job-site today he commented on the fact that ONE difficult person with malicious intentions can do so much damage to his good reputation by putting up a bad review and the damage is done without a fair trial . I decided to tell you about MY experience and assure you that his workmanship and professionalism is outstanding and Im sure there will be more good reviews in the near future as I suggested he ask customers to post , it's the right thing to do these days when you get a company that can get the job done and do it with respect and integrity.

Aqua Star Pool Svc Inc
I hired these clowns for a few months till I sold my house and they come by once a week, after the first time they came by the guy roger was there for like 5 minutes he got a few leaves out of water and left some in there and put powder chlorine in water that's it, they say they vaccum, empty skimmers, test water and adjust, clean filter and pump basket they did none of that and so I fired them when they lied about it when I asked him about it next time they were there, and I asked around and hears these guys are terrible and famous for only doing about 5 minutes of work so I hired portofina pools and they spend about 30 minutes every time so just don't hire aqua star pools

Florida Bonded Pools
This company ripped off many people by not paying their sub contractors, leaving liens on peoples homes, but they paid themselves and then file for bankruptcy. but somehow they are still open.
Tips & Advices
Essential pool cleaning supplies include a skimmer, pool brushes, a telescopic pool pole, and a vacuum. A water test kit is also essential, as it allows you to gauge the water quality and add solutions/chemicals as needed to balance the water. If you have a saltwater pool, you won’t add compound chlorine, but it will still require chemicals, as well as needing to be super-chlorinated  (aka “shocked”) once a week.
The primary benefits of a saltwater pool are that the water is less harsh/irritating to skin and eyes than a chlorine-treated pool--and free of the chemical chlorine smell. Also, saltwater pools are less expensive upfront at the time of installation. (However, saltwater pools tend to be more expensive to maintain.) Saltwater pool still require regular upkeep--daily skimming, but they require less complex routines in terms of chemical monitoring and balancing. Weekly monitoring is just for three things: free chlorine, cyanuric acid stabilizer, and pH.
An automatic pool cleaner vacuums debris and dirt from the pool and brushes the surfaces clean. The basic models have a suction nozzle and a hose, and connect to the pool’s strainer basket and filter. These are suction-side or pressure-side pool cleaners. Robotic pool cleaners, which are used to clean larger pools, are self-contained and much more expensive. The appeal of all automatic pool cleaners is that they work with little to no human supervision.
Maintaining a residential swimming pool typically costs $150-$250 per month for DIY maintenance/cleaning. The cost of running the filter pump is additional. This increases by around $100-$200 a month for professional cleaning, and $100-200 if you need to keep it heated. If you only use your pool during certain seasons, it costs a few-hundred dollars to “open” it for the swimming season (a heavy clean and professional water balance).
A swimming pool needs to be cleaned once a week. Some people maintain it much more painstakingly--skimming every other day, brushing algae-prone areas twice weekly, and vacuuming more than once weekly. Do not forget to clean the pool pumps thoroughly every couple months.
