One Day Denture Repair
I flew in from North Carolina and rented a car in order to visit the One Day Denture Repair Lab in Jacksonville, FL. This will give you an indication of how impressed I was about the work she did for a friend of mine and that transformed his social life in a very positive way. Needless to say, she performed the same miracle with me and gave me a new breath of life, so-to-say. I now look and feel almost like the handsome guy I once was in my younger years, all thanks to Mrs. Gwen, one of the best denturists in the USA and, most definitely, the best in the Southern United States. Thank you for doing such a great job and I won't cease to praise your skill and professionalism.

Baypointe Dental Group PA
I saw Dr. Barker today, his office is clean, modern and friendly staff. I was greeted with a smile, taken back for xray's. I received a cleaning on my first visit. Left with a next appointment and no cavities! I recently changed providers from a large dental "corporate group." Was a big difference not to be seen in a 40 minute appointment time and most of that was upselling me "needed products." I appreciate a good dentist, Dr. Barker is one!

One Day Denture Repair
I broke my denture while cleaning it and needed a very quick repair because I had an event to attend. I called Ms. Gwen and she agreed to see me right away. To cut a long story short, she repaired my denture in no time and it even fit better than it previously did. My beautiful smile and confidence have been restored, thanks to Ms. Gwen's expertise and professionalism. I highly recommend Ms. Gwen at One Day Denture Repair.

One Day Dentures
The entire staff is caring and very, very kind. I had 17 teeth pulled and a complete set of dentures, I never even felt the normally painful shots, the entire experience was as easy and pleasant as it possibly could be.
Tips & Advices
This depends on the prosthetic.
  • Dental implants, when cared for properly, can last a lifetime.
  • Crowns typically last between 10-15 years.
  • Resin-bonded bridges typically last between seven  and 10 years. Tooth-supported fixed bridges generally wear out faster than this.
  • Removable partial dentures typically last around 15 years.
  • Complete dentures typically last between five and six years.
The entire process for adding dental implants could take as long as eight months. There are three phases:
  • Phase 1: Grafting. This may take between three and six  months.
  • Phase 2: Artificial root placement. This may take one to two  hours to complete and will take between three and six  months to heal.
  • Phase 3: Crown placement. This is usually done over the course of two visits, two weeks apart.
One dental implant typically costs $1,000-$3,000. However, the abutment (a connector added onto the top of a dental implant) and crown can add $500-$3,000. Multiple dental implants may cost $3,000-$30,000. A full set of implant dentures may cost as much as $90,000, though the average is around $34,000.
A dental implant is a titanium post shaped like a natural tooth's root that is surgically inserted into the jawbone beneath the gums. These posts allow dentists to secure a replacement tooth or bridge in the correct position.
Maxillofacial prosthesis is a subspecialty of prosthodontics. A maxillofacial prosthesis is meant to rehabilitate patients who have defects or disabilities due to trauma, disease, or those that a patient is has from birth. The prosthesis is designed to replace parts of the bone or tissue that are missing, or to help restore functions of the mouth, such as swallowing, chewing, or speaking. Other prostheses are created to protect the face during radiation therapy. Dentists that work with maxillofacial prostheses often collaborate closely with ear, nose, and throat doctors.
