Jacksonville Pet Crematory
As someone who has done business with Jacksonville Pet Crematory and Jimmy for almost five years, I would highly reccomend them. Not only do I see, every day, how well this company deals with our grieving clients, I have entrusted a few of my pet's cremations with them. Unfortunately, so many companies in this business do not always do the things they should. However, this will NEVER be an issue with this company. Not only can clients be absolutely sure they are getting their pet's ashes returned to them, they can know that their pet's were treated with respect. This is the only company of it's kind in Jacksonville that I would use, or reccomend my clients to. Jimmy and his staff make a very difficult time for you and your family easier with their professional and compassionate service.

Jacksonville Pet Crematory
I just wanted to express my gratitude for the beautiful job Jimmy did in handling the cremation of our beloved cat, Biscuit. We were able to pick up her remains today and the folder that included her paw print and fur was such a special touch. She the sweetest cat and lived a wonderful 14.5 years with us. The day we had to put her down, we wished we had taken some of her fur as a memento so I am beyond happy and touched that Jimmy included this for us. I love the wildflowers included to plant in her memory as well. Jimmy was extremely compassionate and very uplifting during this difficult time. Absolutely wonderful presentation and way to honor our sweet cat.

Jacksonville Pet Funeral Home & Pet Crematory
My family and extended family have used the services of this facility several times. To us, Losing an animal is losing a family member. Jimmy has handled difficult times and a grieving family with compassion, respect, dignity, and understanding . He strives to make things as easy as they possibly can be under the circumstances. We will be facing a loss again as my precious yorkie is declining fast. When that time comes , I would trust NO ONE BUT Jimmy to handle my little guys final needs. Jimmy treats us and our pets as if we all are part of his family and no one can do better than that We thank you Jimmy. The Duggan Family

Cherished Pets Cremation Service
If you lose a beloved pet friend or pet "child" like we did, I would recommend Cherished Pets of Jacksonville to fulfill your desire to have your baby cremated. We always wanted this for our little girl and though she was sick for a long time before passing, it didn't make it any easier. Lorin came to our home and picked up our baby and set an appointment with us for individual cremation. She is very considerate and understands how special our pets are to us. I will always remember this service and refer friends and family to her.
Tips & Advices
A scatter garden is a dedicated plot of land that is used for scattering remains after cremation has taken place. Many pet scatter gardens allow you to memorialize your pet by adding your pet's name to a marker.
Many pet cemeteries offer memorial services, and some offer in-house chapels that can be used as a venue for these events. Pet cemeteries sometimes offer pet funeral directors on staff to help you coordinate memorial services. You many also plan memorial services for your pet by working with a pet funeral home.
Most pet cemeteries require that pets be buried in a casket, and these facilities often offer a wide variety of caskets for sale. A pet casket  can cost anywhere from $50 for a basic model to more than $3,000 for one that is top of the line.
If a pet dies while at the veterinarian, you have the option of letting your vet handle the disposition of your pet's remains. If you'd prefer to have your pet buried or cremated at the facility of your choice, let your veterinarian know.. You can then contact the facility to have them pick up your pet's body. Your vet may be able to suggest a pet cemetery or crematory if you need a recommendation.
If a pet dies at home, it's important to make swift arrangements to handle the remains, since your pet's body will immediately begin to decompose. You don't have to handle the body yourself. Many pet cemeteries and crematories offer 24/7 removal services for tackling this task.
