McCormick's Painting and Waterproofing
I contacted McCormacks Painting back in June of this year and they responded immediately. The gentleman that came out was the owner, I believe. He was courteous very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. He promptly gave me a estimate and it was the least expensive but the job was excellent. From day one this was a positive experience from initial contact through the installation. The owner took a hands on approach and generally seemed to care about making sure I was satisfied which I must say is rare in my experience these days while dealing with a small business. I generally don't tAke the time to even comment on these sort of things but my experience was so positive that I wanted to write this review. I can honestly say that if you deal with this company I believe that you will be extremely happy and I will use them again if ever needed. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Nothing but the very best service is provided by this family business, a gentleman and his gentlemanly sons. They are the best, are friendly, competent, efficient, and they don't waste any time in getting the job done, and done RIGHT! Also, when they come in, they do the job right, the FIRST time, never leave a mess, and when they are done, they are done! Never is there a need to call them back to do a do-over because the job is always done right the FIRST time! God bless this business and the gentleman who own the business. Thank you Mr. Moody & sons, for your old-fashioned way of doing business with the integrity that is VERY rare to find in this day and age. And I am OLD ENOUGH to remember when people took GREAT pride in their work ("back when!" as us older folks will say, or we'll say, "back in the day").Added with much pleasure today, Friday, July 7, 2017

Paint It Forward
I began the journey to painting my house without knowing what color/colors to put where. Having painted before, I thought it was as simple as picking the new color and putting it over the old color. Boy was I wrong?!?!?! Tina is very knowledgeable about EVERYTHING PAINT!!!! She is very detailed-oriented and takes her time to ensure the job is completed to the client’s liking. Tina explained every process to me and how it would affect the end result. Ultimately we decided on several rooms being painted several colors with various types of finish. I am pleased with the work she has done in my home and highly recommend her for anyone considering painting their home and/or business.

Florida Flying Colors Painting Co
Hi Chris, I wanted to thank you for the beautiful work you did on the house. I love the paint in each and every room. I really liked the faux effect you used on the back wall in the master bedroom. You picked the perfect picture for the wall in the master bathroom. The lights in the master bathroom look great in the new oil rubbed bronze effect. You have taken a new house and turned it into OUR NEW HOME by adding color. Thank you so much for all you did! I have been singing your praises to my neighbors. My company that was here last week was really impressed with how the house looks. Color makes all the difference. Thank You,Pat, Jacksonville Florida

Very great company to handle all your painting needs....They arrived on time and went straight to work. would highly recommend to anyone that needs any painting or pressure washing.
Tips & Advices
For a long-lasting paint job, a clean wall is crucial. Ask how they plan to clean your walls, if at all, before getting started. A high-quality company will thoroughly prepare a wall so that the paint will lay smoothly and last a long time.
Yes. A well-established company will have more experience and likely more references for you to reach out to than a new company that's just getting off the ground. Be sure to ask for references so you can speak to former customers about their experience working with the painter. When speaking to these people, ask about:
  • Whether they had issues with the crew
  • If the painters were messy or neat
  • How the paint has held up since the project was completed
The quality of the paint will affect how good the walls look when the project is completed. If your contractor says they plan on using a paint you don't like, feel free to request an alternative.
If the contractor makes a point to train new hires on safety techniques as well as quality standards on the job, you're probably in good hands.
Unfortunately, there are plenty of cases where a painter has stolen items from a home or caused damage to the house or injury to the homeowner. Subcontractors may not be as skilled as employees, and the contractor you're hiring may not have much experience working with them, making them more of a risk. Additionally, ask if the painters are employees or subcontractors, and what the screening or hiring process is like.

Just a moment...
