Wilkerson Gerald Law Office
I had the pleasure of being introduced to Mr. Wilkerson from a close friend who also was a client. From the very start Mr. Wilkerson immediately immersed himself into my case. Explained all the positives and negatives of what could happen during my case. He suggested strategies and followed up with me constantly to keep me abreast of what he was doing and what I could expect. He constantly reassured me that I was in good hands and he was right. During the course of my legal case Mr Wilkerson anticipated opposing councils move and he was able to side step issues before they arose. When it came time for negotiations, Mr. Wilkerson was able to get the opposing council to settle for much less than what was at stake. He litterally saved me tens of thousands of dollars. I also want to mention that for the amount of legal services I received, I expected to pay a lot. I'm happy to report that Mr. Wilkerson's fee's are extremely reasonable considering the amount of work that he and his office staff did on my case. Mr. Wilkerson is friendly, well read, extremely informed, well connected and professional. He's also a great patriot and a fellow veteran who proudly served in the Army. I am going to continue to use his legal services in the future and I highly recommend him to anyone who is in need of the best legal services available.

Wolf, David A
David has been my lawyer going on 10 years now. Our most recent legal issue was not something I was going to hire a lawyer for, but due to a decline in my health i did have a concern how well I would be able to present my case. David had supplied me with a needed affidavit and asked if i needed anything else? I explained that I was going to be in court in the morning and concerned about my health being an issue. over the next hour after that call, David called me back, had arranged to be at court with me, and due to his expertise was able to secure a very positive outcome for me, without it being as taxing on me physically as it could have been. David is my first call, when a friend or family member is in need. He truly is one of the good guys, and we consider him part of our extended family. In all honesty there is no way that I could write a review to truly do the quality of his work, and the peace of mind he has afforded my family, proper justice.

Patrick Kelly M.D., M.A., J.D, Attorney at Law
I retained Patrick for my DUI case after firing my first lawyer. (See Sheldon Vann) Patrick took over the case and went to work. After a little over a month, he was able to get the state attorney's office to mend my DUI into a reckless, with the reckless being withheld. It basically gave me a clean slate on my driving record. Patrick was able to get all this without having to go trial. I only had to deal with some community service, early termination probation for 6 months, and small court costs. Much less than If the DUI conviction actually stayed. I had the option as well to buyout the community service with a donation to United Way. Patrick is very easy to talk to and was very attentive of my case. If I called him, he answered. If he wasn't able to answer right away, he returned my call within the hour and sometimes within minutes. If you're looking for a lawyer to handle your case, Patrick Kelly is worth every penny.Highly Recommend!

Carrington Madison Mead, Esquire
This is an amazing attorney! Perhaps the two people below had ridiculous expectations and didn't get what they wanted. Rusty, as is her nickname, is very thorough and never lets things fall through the cracks. She is very sympathetic to the stress that divorce and custody battles cause. She is very realistic and lets you know what you are entitled to, she doesn't promise you things just to take your money. I highly recommend using Rusty for any family law issues, I have used her for two different issues and am more than satisfied. Did I get everything that I wanted? No, the law is the law and attorneys can only do so much. Did she get me what I was entitled to? Yes, and then some. On a separate note, she is truly an amazing person and does wonderful things in our community. She cares about people; her clients, their families, and her community.

Jonathan Rowe Lawyer
I was represented by Mr. Rowe in a domestic violence charge that he advised me to settle. Years later i did my own research and found my error was hiring Mr. Rowe. Though for some he may have done an excellent job, I unfortunately can not say the same. I had never been convicted of a crime and later found out that my then girlfriend had been arrested twice for domestic violence and had even been baker acted. I don't entirely blame Mr. Rowe because ultimately the owneous is mine, I just thought as a USAF 10 year veteran with no history of domestic violence would have garnered a simbelence of fight from my attorney. The experience has motivated me to complete by bachelors and pursue a degree in law, saw in a way I owe a bit of thanks to Mr. Rowe and to the false accusations of my acuser.

Wolf, David A
About a month ago I was pulled over and given an unfair speeding ticket which would've put points on my license so I decided to call David Wolf on the spot for assistance in this matter. Within few weeks everything was squared away and the initial charge was reduced and no points will be on my license. I knew I was facing an update hill battle, but David's personable, professional and reassuring approach gave me hope. Every time I contacted him he responded promptly with a thorough answer. Not once I had to sit around wondering what was the next step. His level of professionalism made me feel as if I was a high profile client, and for that I'm very thankful. I strongly recommend David Wolf's services! You will not be disappointed.

Fishback Robert H Jr
I had a great experience with this attorney. He has handled cases for me and my family. He represented me in my divorce. He explained the law every step of the way. I was able to get time with my children, he helped me prepare my financial affidavit, helped prepare me for mediation, and we were able to achieve a favorable settlement at mediation. Mr. Fishback was very knowledgeable and knew what to do every step of the way. He has handled traffic tickets for several members of my family. I felt that I was always informed, calls were returned, and I was guided through the process. Mr. Fishback's fees were fair, as well. I recommend this attorney to anyone.

Wolf, David A
I am a current client of Attorney David Alan Wolf. I was involved in an accident that was no fault of my own. I needed some advice and Attorney Wolf was there as a protective buffer against the insurance company. I had no clue and would have really hurt myself in the long run in so many ways without his advice. His team is awesome! I never felt like a number. The medical professionals respect him. I am grateful. Dictionary.com defines a FRIEND as such, "a person who gives assistance; patron; supporter". I consider Attorney Wolf and his team friends. Thank you sir. Great job!

Wolf, David A
David Wolf possess an exceptional understanding of the law. I consulted him in regard to a contract dispute and he was quickly able to discern the issues and provide several options. He possesses a superior understanding of the law. In addition, I found Mr Wolf to be very easy to talk to, he was personal and engaging in our conversations. He made me feel at ease and demonstrated a genuine care for my situation. His easy disposition is a rare trait for lawyers. I would highly recommend Mr Wolf to anyone who is seeking a highly competent lawyer who is also compassionate.
Tips & Advices
When it comes time to choose a lawyer, you should start by searching close to home. If you do have attorneys you are familiar with, ask who they believe would be best for you. After going through personal references - especially from individuals who had similar needs - you should broaden your search through public information resources. You can call your area's attorney referral service or check legal organizations like Martindale-Hubbell. There are other resources available online, such as yellowpages.com. You can check websites for client reviews and other third-party forms of approval.
If you sign documents and you come across a word you don't recognize, or you need help to navigate important employment or real estate paperwork. Also, during times when personal matters intersect with legal proceedings, you might need to have an advocate to prevent your emotions from getting in the way. If you've been accused of a crime or are in a terrible financial situation, you can find an attorney who will work with what you have available.
When you hire a lawyer, you're agreeing to work with someone over a certain period of time. The more forthcoming the lawyer appears to be with individual needs, the better.
  • You need to ask questions about how the attorney will communicate with you and what responsibilities you hold in the relationship.
  • The attorney should let you know the best channel for quick communication and you need to inform him or her when you want updates.
  • You should also ask questions to get to know the attorney as an individual in order to ensure this is a person you can trust. Ask about their legal philosophy and how he or she views the lawyer/client relationship. Ask as how to keep fees down or what daily disruptions you should expect from a long legal battle.
You need to ask about every possible fee that will come up when working with an attorney. You should request a list of all costs in advance so you won't be surprised by additional expenses like overhead. Also determine exactly when you will start being billed. You want to inspect paperwork carefully. If the attorney charges you for his or her experience, you need to make sure he or she will perform tasks personally and not hand it off to an assistant. Find out if the attorney has a flat fee or charges by the hour. Many civil lawyers work on contingency. Make inquiries about how the lawyer plans to provide service for your money and what you can do if you start to feel unsatisfied with his or her performance.
You can ask how many similar cases they have handled and if they have special skills or training that applies specifically to your needs. Lawyers can't mention clients by name, but you should ask for basic details about identical past cases. You should check their office for the appropriate certifications and diplomas. You can also ask how long he or she has practiced law and request information that demonstrates the practice's success. Look for precise details such as percentage of cases settled out of court.
