Just Floors
We had a home built in Orange Park and Just floors was hired as the sub by the sub of Vintage Estate Homes, our builder. I wouldn't recommend Vintage Estate Homes or Just Floors. Just floors did the tile work in our Formal Dining Room and our Great room. The tile in the formal dining room was laid in such a way that all of the dining the furniture wobbled. The great room was horribly laid and it was just one big tripping hazard. We bought very expensive wood looking tile. Just floor came laid the floor with huge gaps and incredibly uneven. We have been trying to communicate with the Manager, Gary and all he do is give us the runaround. He have sent employees over to replace a few of the tiles but the floor was so terribly laid that it was determined that it would have to be tore completely up and redone. We are projected to get it done in by the end of May but we fear it is just another ploy by Gary to run us around again. We will believe him when we see it. All he does is make excuses. We have filed a better business bureau compliant against them and we are prepared to do whatever is necessary legally to get this issue resolved should Just floors continue with their shenanigans. We give this company 1 star because so far we haven't received the product that we paid a great deal of money for yet, all we have gotten is excuses and the reason we believe that is because they have already gotten paid for the work. This would be rework and obviously they don't care about customer service otherwise our issue would be resolved by now.

Edward was professional, informative and quick to get the job done. My beautiful hardwood floors were one of the main items that sold my house within to weeks after I listed it. I highly recommend his services. Joan Deyo Jacksonville beach

Jace Howard Wood Flooring
Had them install a wood dining room floor to match the adjoining living room wood floor. Horrible! The boards are cracked, warped, full of knot holes, etc. They came out twice and gave excuses. I have the worst looking wood floor I have ever seen. Walking in your shoes you can feel the "waves" from the warped boards. I paid for top of the line materials and got seconds or worse.

Roberts Custom Hardwood Flooring LLC
William Roberts was contracted by my wife to install hard wood floor in our foyer. He accepted $90 in advance to buy the glue for the install. He never showed up cashed the check and will not return my repeated calls to get the $90 back.

Flooring America
We purchased tile, wood laminate and carpet from Flooring America. Our salesperson was Chris Langdale, who came out when scheduled, measured the rooms and gave us great ideas. There were different installers for each project; and all of them were professional and did excellent work. If you need any type of flooring, we would highly recommend this company.

Conquering Lion Construction
Thieves and liars that do not pay their employees. Their craftsmanship is a joke , a 3 year old chimpanzee with a sledge hammer and dynamite would do better work Do NOT hire these clowns unless you want liens on your house and substandard work. Whats worse is he pretends to be some holy roller God Bless You Type. DONT FALL FOR IT!!!!! It will coast you more to fix their work than it would cost to hire a good contractor.

Tips & Advices
In most states, contractors are required to have a license before taking a job. Some states also require registration. To be licensed, contractors must pass an exam and meet certain qualifications that prove he or she is a competent flooring contractor. Registration is simply a list of who will be performing a job.
The time it takes to install flooring depends on the type of flooring and the size of the room or rooms involved in the project. In one day, a typical contractor can usually install up to 2,000 square feet of carpet, 600 square feet of hardwood or laminate, or 400 square feet of tile or stone.
  • Do you have a professional license, insurance, and a business liability policy?
  • Who will work on the project?
  • Do you subcontract, and do you screen workers and have insurance policies to cover them?
  • Do you have references or examples of your work I can see?
  • Do you charge for an in-home estimate?
  • What type of flooring is best for my home in terms of architectural consistency, environmental influences (such as whether a certain type of flooring will be affected by humidity in my area), and durability?
Legally, insurance is not necessary, but it's a good idea for flooring contractors to have it. When hiring a flooring contractor, ask whether the business is insured. If it's not, consider that a red flag.
A flooring contractor should know the pros and cons of each flooring option. These might include pricing, time of installation, durability, and average lifespan of the material.
