Atlantic Coast Plumbing & Tile
Atlantic Coast Plumbing & Tile is the way to go for your bathroom plumbing, tile and remodel. We had a complete master bath tear out with new walls, floor, reduced soffit with overhead shower, new towel rack and fixture installed. The tile work is second to none. Vann, Drew and Jordon are top notch professionals. We were expecting a mess but were surprised that at the end of each day, we didn't even know they had been in the house. They covered the adjacent furniture from the bathroom and the walkways in the house. The work area was clean and tidy after each phase of the remodel. We can't wait to have them back to do the guest bath next.Kevin and TheresaUpdate: 3/15/2013We were so pleased with the bathroom we invited them back to tile our kitchen and it turned out awesome!!! The job was done professionally and with the least impact on us. We'll see you guys back for the guest bath.Kevin and Theresa

Cannon Plumbing Inc
We had a horrible sewer back up in our house. My son and his friend decided they could clear up the problem themselves but they were wrong. We called Cannon Plumbing because they had just done some work for our neighbor. They showed up just a couple hours after we called and within a few minutes the plumber had figured out how he needed to clear the drain. What I really liked is that he kept explaining to my son why and how he knew where the blockage was at and what it would take to clear it. 30 minutes later the blockage was cleared and the plumber was cleaning up. I Loved that he cleaned up our mess and didn't make it worse. These guys really know their stuff and the cost was much less than I imagined too. I hope I never have a blockage again but I guarantee if I do I will be calling Cannon Plumbing.

Atlantic Coast Plumbing & Tile
We recently did a complete remodel of of our home. This included a full repipe, completely gutting two bathrooms, moving the kitchen to another area of the house and replacing all flooring. This was a big undertaking. Based on Atlantic Coast Pluming and Tile having done excellent work in the past at my home, I knew they were the right choice. From the beginning of our project, Nick and Vann advised us, made suggestions, kept us from making mistakes and helped us stay on budget. The craftsmen working in our home were the standard by which others should be judged. They worked hard and fast, they were there when they said they would be, they were pleasant and respectful and always kept everything very neat and clean. Jimmy and Drew have made my tile floor and kitchen and bathrooms absolutely gorgeous!!!!

Wow - What a wonderful surprise. We had our tub converted to a walk-in shower. We also had our family room, foyer and hall tiled. We were just delighted with the workmanship. It was a pleasure to do business with such a professional company and their employees. They were on time every day and they cleaned up behind themselves every day. They told us how long it would take and exactly what to expect. Should we ever have any plumbing or tile work again we will only make one phone call and that will be to Vann Parrish at Atlantic Coast. It was pleasure to do business with them. So call them if you want professionalism and workmanship at its best. Charles & Becky, Mandarin

A-1 Plumbing Supply
A-1 Plumbing Supply has helped us twice and saved us money both times. They have gone above and beyond in answering our questions. On our first repair a plumber installed the wrong valve cartridges in our garden tub faucet, charged us over $300, and the faucet still didn't work. We got our money back from the plumber after A-1 helped us find and fix the problem for $40 worth of parts. They gave us detailed instructions which made the repair easy to do. Then we called them when we needed a new water heater. We got a great water heater and they helped us find an honest, skilled plumber to install it. We will always call A-1 Plumbing Supply.

Blacketor Remodeling and Construction
I call Matt out to take a look at an addition I was having built by a family member. I let the family memeber do the project do to the tough times. He put the frame up quick, but when it came to finishing and getting subcontarctors paid he fell short way short. I knew Matt though a common friend. Matt came in and saved the day! He and his guys fixed and finished all the work left undone by the previous so called contractor. They took special care to make sure that we were completely satisfied with the completed work. Next time I won't try to save a few dollars, I will just call Matt and get it done right!

Atlantic Coast Plumbing & Tile
The design advice, planning and implementation were superlative. It wasn't a cut-rate price but I didn't want cut-rate work. They did everything from move walls, change doors, plumbing, excellent tile work, provide an excellent electrical subcontractor, get timely inspections, and ensure that we were completely pleased. If the rating system went above five stars, theirs would be much higher. Everyone who entered our house was pleasant, very hard working, totally trustworthy, and absolutely professional. Atlantic Coast Plumbing & Tile
This is the best Plumbing and Tile Company in Jacksonville. We have one of the typical 1970s homes with the small master bath. We had been wanting a complete change in this bathroom and Atlantic Coast Plumbing did a fantastic job. We couldn't be more pleased. Nick and Vann Parrish gave us great ideas on how to make the most of such a small space. The crew they sent over were complete professionals. I will definitely use them again and look forward to the opportunity to have them work the same magic in our other bathroom.

David Gray Plumbing Inc.
I called one of those Rooter guys. He claimed it must be the main line to the sewer had collapsed claiming that the auger tip was shiny from hitting sand (which Frank later guessed that he told me). $4300 to replace the pipe (sign contract here) RED FLAG. I called David Gray, Frank came out ran his auger in order to locate the sewer line, opened it up snaked it, found a blockage and cleared it, inspected it with a camera, identified the problem for less than the Rooter guy. Thanks Frank, I meant to tip you but forgot.

Bill Fenwick Plumbing Inc.
I called Bill Fenwick Plumbing to come in & fix a botched contractor job. I had broken tiles, tub & shower faucets installed wrong, sinks cracked - I was in tears.. They arrived on time, were professional, & fixed a disaster situation quickly. They are pricey, but in the contractor biz, you get what you pay for - trust me I learned that lesson! Darryl was very kind, explained options along the way, & was neat, hardworking & courteous. He treated my home as if it were his. Would highly recommend.
Tips & Advices
Before you hire a plumber, contact their past customers if you're able to. These people can be a wealth of information if you ask them the right questions. Pose the following queries to these former patrons when you get the chance:
  • Were you pleased with the work done?
  • Was the project completed on time?
  • Did the plumber give you a written warranty and guarantee his or her work?
  • Were there any unexpected costs that arose?
  • Would you hire this plumber again? If not, why?
A permit provides added assurance that the work is done correctly. Having this in place means an inspector will check the work your contractor or plumber does to ensure he or she did the job correctly. If you plan on putting your house or commercial building on the market, a real estate agent and prospective buyers will want to check any large work you did to make sure it was done properly.
A trustworthy plumber will have both commercial liability insurance as well as be bonded. The insurance and the bond protects the plumber from paying for any damages made to your house out of pocket. Having professionals that carry both of these policies can protect all of you from any mishaps that could occur while they work on your building.
  • Before calling a plumber, try to unclog your drains and toilets yourself by using a plunger.
  • Make sure you use a standard bell-shaped plunger for your sink and shower drains and a plunger with a flanged end for your toilets.
  • If neither type can loosen the pipe blockage, put a plumber's snake to use.
  • Ratchet the snake down the pipe to eliminate any clogs.
Usually, a leaky or dripping faucet is an easy fix that can be done by anyone who is even slightly handy with tools.. To fix it, first shut off the water under the sink then remove any decorative parts of the faucet and replace the washer and O-ring before reassembling everything.

Just a moment...
