Si Senor
I’m really excited to tell you about my visit to Si Senor Fresh Mex. I’ve never been to a Mexican Restaurant that offers a Homemade Fresh Salsa Bar featuring 6 different varieties that is included in the price of your meal!Upon entering the Si Senor Fresh Mex the owner greeted us, asking if it was our first time visiting his restaurant. When I told him it was he was very eager and helpful to explain things. He answered any questions I had and also asked my children if they had any questions. When one of them did ask a question he quickly answered letting them know that their opinion and thoughts really mattered. Being a mom, that was important to me.Kayla ordered a Taco Salad. It was so fresh and served in a homemade taco salad bowl shell. It had loads of chicken and all the fixings!Jonathan and I ordered Nachos. It was also fresh and was very large. The owner is very friendly and made us feel like part of his family. He brought out fresh chips to our table.Once we ordered it was less than 10 minutes and our fresh Mexican food was served. So even if you don’t have a very long lunch time you can still eat here because there is little to no waiting time. It’s really close to UNF and the Jacksonville Town Center. The address is 3546 St Johns Bluff Road, Jacksonville, FL 32246.All of the food was reasonable price especially for the amount of food that you get. It’s important to me that everything is made in house from scratch, made to order using nothing but fresh ingredients. The restaurant was also very clean and well organized.Have kids or just like Foosball? Over at Si Senor Fresh Mex they offer complimentary Foosball! Jonathan and Kayla didn’t play tonight while we were there however they mentioned that the next time we visit they are both going to play Foosball at Si Senior Fresh Mex.http://couponsavingfamily.com/2015/06/si-senor-fresh-mex-review-jacksonville-fl/

5 Star Liquor Bar & Grill
I think the person who wrote the review on 4/14 was a little wacky in the head. This place is run by a sweet older lady that everyone calls Mom and also by her daughter who has worked with JSO and the FBI in her career (and he rated it 5 stars which it totally deserves!). These people are the sweetest and they always make you feel at home. They always have my rum or vodka of choice and always have awesome recommendations for mixed drinks and recipes! They even know how to cook with different liquors! The owner even ordered a special wine for me because I couldn't find it anywhere else and when it came in, she called me to let me know! I drive past 2 liquor stores just to come to them because they are great people and enjoy their customers. I've been going to this liquor store for over 7 years now and I know they have a lot of faithful customers who have been shopping at their store since they opened in 2001. Love you guys! Ya'll are the best!

Mr. Taco
Meh- there is nothing special about Mr taco. I'd like to begin with the fact thgat I am new to the city. I have been to many establishments where my $30 would have gotten much more. Since the economy in Jacksonville is comparable to what I'm used to I say they are overpriced. While the food was good and abundant, it was nothing to write home about. The service has room for lots of improvement. There are no servers. You order at the counter and a cashier brings it out. She had to go back twice because she'd left food in the window. The other two cashiers simply watched from behind the counter. The place was clean and the food decent. This is why they got two stars instead of none. Overall my experience was just OK. A note to travellers- If your in the area and hungry for tacos, give it a try. Just don't make any special trip. To Mr Taco- cilantro doesn't go on everything.

Linda's Wooden Spoon
My son was visiting from out of town and always likes to go to different restaurants. I had heard through the "grapevine" about this new restaurant and we came from west side of Jacksonville just to eat there. A couple of times in past I had been to same location when it was a seafood restaurant and decorated with fish etc. Was surprised how nice it looked with fresh paint and decorations. Linda was there and welcomed us. I had traditional breakfast and my son had scotch eggs with grits etc. His eggs were a surprize to him. Hard boiled eggs inside saurage shaped like an egg. Surprize when you cut into it. He said it was delicious. Wonderful biscuits. I loved my breakfast and he loved his too. Generous portions and prices very reasonable. I will be back to enjoy again.

The Weekend Cafe
After hearing good things about this restaurant from a relative, I decided to give it a try. First let me say that this restaurant opens only on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays (hence the name The Weekend Cafe) I went in last Sunday, and I ordered a $10 plate which included; rice and gravy, macaroni and cheese, collard greens, potato salad, corn bread, and your choice of meat (they have oxtails, smothered/fried porkchops, baked/fried chicken, ribs, and chitterlings, but I opted for smothered porkchops) Everything was delicious, and the pork chops were very tender. To top all of that off, I ordered a slice of red velvet cake (it costs $2), and it was by far, the best I've tasted. Needless to say, I'll be back.

The Mitt Tex Mex Cafe
We were in Jacksonville for an appointment. We were interested in eating at a good TexMex restaurant and heard about The Mitt. We strongly recommend this restaurant. It provides you an opportunity to eat a great home cooked meal prepared by a family that is using old family recipes. It is like being invited to a great meal at someone's home. Do not pass up a chance to eat here. It was worth traveling a long distance to eat here, and only regret we have to travel so far to eat there again.

Tijuana Flats
This is a great location.Pros: Fast service, the tall girl working the floor is so nice & helpful, the food is always good (even tho the chimi I got one time was not crispy), you can order & pay online & pick up is so easy.Cons: Parking sucks, sometimes there isn't enough seating (Just do Taco Tuesday to go lol it's easier) & a few female cashiers need better customer service skills Overall we love it!!

Fisherman's Dock
Love this store and their staff. Very personal service. I had no idea you had a website, but glad to find it. I've been a loyal customer for over 5 years. Many of your staff know I love Sea Bass most of all, but purchase a good variety of fresh seafood from you!! I work for a local Credit Union and refer members to your store when I know they enjoy great seafood a well as friends and neighbors!!
