Beaver Dental Care DMD
Beaver dental care has been my dental home for 6 years. From the initial call with Diana to the checkout with the hygieniest Amanda cannot compare to any of the dental offices I have went to over the years. The efficient organization to the time management and down to the care and compassion are one of a kind. It's always a great experience and I have had fearful dental visits prior to getting established with dr. Beaver. Thanks so much for exceptional service and helping me love coming to the dentist.

This office teaches and informs not only their patients but the new office staff that comes in. The office manager was in the back office assisting and training. I am fascinated with the new techniques and products that enhance Dr. Beavers practice. The experience was exceptional and I am glad to say so.

I think that this office can meet everyone's expectations. I was able to set up an appointment and get in within days. The doctor worked in a crown to get me out of pain with a broken tooth. The staff was so sweet and talked me through everything. I will always recommend Dr. Beaver.

I have had a very good experience with my dental care with Dr. Beaver. All of the staff are proffessional and considerate. I had very little wait time before being seen. The staff takes the time to explain procedures, cost involved, and to insure my comfort during the procedure.

My hygieniest Megan was wonderful. I was going through some troubling times with family medical problems and she was very kind. I even received a beautiful note from Dr. Beaver and the whole staff telling me they were thinking of me. That touched my heart.

My husband has been going to Dr. Beaver for years. The girls and I just switched over to his practice. We have been very happy with the service, professionalism, reminders of appointments, and very clean office. We are so glad we made the switch.
Tips & Advices
Dental hygienists are required to attend continuing education classes, and the amount of continuing education that is needed varies from state to state. Depending on the state, dental hygienists must renew their licenses every one, two, or three years. A certain amount of continuing education is necessary to successfully have this license renewed.
Dental hygienists can perform teeth whitening. This procedure is used to brighten a discolored smile. It's possible to whiten teeth at home, but you'll often get faster results if you turn the process over to a trained and skilled professional. Dentists and dental hygienists often use stronger bleaches to whiten teeth than those that are available to consumers over the counter.
The costs associated with getting the education required to become a dental hygienist depends on the type of degree chosen. For an associate's degree, expect to spend an average of $22,000. For a bachelor's degree, the average cost rises to $36,000. For a master's degree, it would take an additional $30,000 on top of the costs associated with getting a bachelor's degree.
It takes a minimum of two years to become a dental hygienist. This is the time required to obtain the associate's degree that qualifies them for licensing in a particular state. After obtaining a degree, they'll need to pass national, state, and regional exams to begin working as a dental hygienist.
The are certain key differences between a dental hygienist and a dental assistant. A dental assistant performs tasks such as disinfecting instruments, managing patients' dental records, and assisting dentists during procedures. Dental hygienists perform a more advanced set of tasks, such as polishing teeth and removing tartar, plaque, and stains.
