Collins Builders
If you are looking for a new home builder, look no further. I think you will be hard pressed to find another builder who will build you a better home. We visited multiple homes by various builders priced at a similar price point at different phases of construction before deciding on Collins Builders. All the builders we considered final product looked great. However, the process of getting there, well, lets just say, many builders 'covered up' mistakes on a regular basis. Collins appeared to get it right the first time or got any mistakes corrected before it got covered up. Most builders we spoke with only required a boundary survey. Collins Builders did a boundary, tree, topo and elevation survey before construction. They also had an environmental engineer dig test bores were the foundation of the home was to be positioned to ensure that the soil would support the weight of a new home. This was done to help reduce/prevent foundation settling in the future. During the design process, my wife and I met with Ashley Collins and Danny Britt . We had our own house plans drawn up by an architect. Danny and Ashley were very knowledgeable and easy to work with during this process. They provided good input, suggestions to complement/enhance our home design. Steve Boure handled the oversight of our day to day build process. Steve did a great job ensuring that we got a quality built home! We cant thank him enough. Job well done Steve! He was on site most days of construction. The few days that he was not able to be on site, Danny and/or Ashley Collins were. Our home was completed on time and on budget. Steve Boure ensured any and all issues were resolved quickly and to our satisfaction. It has been 12 months since we completed our home. We have only experienced 2 minor problems during ownership. Both problems were corrected quickly to our and to our satisfaction. I highly recommend Collins Builders.

Rogero & Williams Roofing & Construction
Don't believe the hype! This is the worst company ever. I signed a contract with the company stating that they would fix the roof for what the insurance company said it should be fixed for as long as I did not decide to later go with another roofer. Then because the insurance company came back and said that the roof could be repaired instead of replaced, R&W led me on for almost a year promising to get to me but never doing so even when they replaced roofs for multiple neighbors surrounding me. TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL. After lots of complaints and 9 months, I finally got them to release me from the contract so that I could find another roofer. If it was possible to give ZERO stars, I would!

This company forged my signature on a check the insurance company paid to repair the roof of my home, they cashed the check and did not do the work.

The apartment complex we live in hired this company to replace the stairs outside. In the process they cut our cable wire. When my husband confronted them on this, the guy was rude and immediately stated he will not pay to fix it but will have one of his guys come by and fix the cable. They never did. A week later while still replacing the stairs, they messed it up again. Yet again my husband talked to them and they said they would fix it and low and behold, did not fix it. They packed up and left. This company is unprofessional, rude and they do not take responsibility for their actions. I would NOT recommend this company to any one.

Benton Integrity Roofing Systems
My rep Kirk seemed nice and we got through all the documents, down payment & scheduling with no issues. They called the week prior for 7/3/2017 to complete the roof and it would take 1 day. The workers arrived promptly and began. I was off for the holiday so I stayed home & completed food prep etc for a party the next day. The roof noise stopped around 2 but they were still outside. We left closer to 3 & no one was there. They had cleaned up & there was a large trailer parked in the driveway. We have plenty of parking so I didn't think much of it or that no one knocked before they left. The next day we realized the trailer was parked so close there was no way for me to open the garage door. The door has a padlock & is not a rolling door so you would need room to open the door. My driveway can accommodate several cars so there was no need to park this close. When I texted my rep to have them at least come pull the trailer out he said that it wasn't even their trailer it was a subcontractors they use. I hired Benton, what they do from there is still their responsibility. He said he was out of town & couldn't do anything & the man from the other company never answered. 2 hours late for the party, & minus the $400 worth of supplies we had purchased months prior, we left. People where disappointed to say the least. When I said this to my rep he said you knew there would be a trailer. I said yes, I just didn't know it would be parked against my garage. He never replied after that. I then contacted the company via their web site to complain & see what could be done. No one ever got back to me. A week later & no one has even contacted me to resolve this & collect the final payment - which is also impeding my reduced home owners insurance rate. I can't express how disappointed I am. To try and resolve the problem they offered me $400 - & to give them the huge pool floats etc & a receipt. So instead of trying to make up for my 4th they ruined they just want pool floats.

Susan Severson!!!This is an agent with some real common sense and zeal. She has a great attitude, while also being very nice and friendly. She has a great amount of experience and education, but more than that she is just real. I like how well she knows her local and surrounding communities. She is very on the ball too, getting back to you very fast with updates and always answering her phone. Buying and selling can be difficult, and with a teammate like her on your side it is so much more seamless. I am excited to finally have the whole process behind me, and a new friend. Thank You

Mr. Bennet, says what he will do and does what he says. He shows up on time. Qualities that are rare among contractors these days. He did knockdown ceiling work, tile work, and a variety of other work for me. Highly recommend his company.
Tips & Advices
The most common types of roofing material are:
  • Asphalt shingles
  • Metal roofing
  • Slate shingles
  • Concrete roofing
Metal roofing material and algae-resistant asphalt shingles are the appropriate roofing material for rainy climates.
Houses located in  areas which are prone to wildfires, should avoid the use of flammable roofing materials such as wood shingles.
Not only should you ask to get in contact with past clients, it is also recommended that  homeowners visit projects currently underway to see how the contractor or company actually performs during a job. You can also go online and check out other customer reviews.
Reputable roofers do offer a warranty against poor workmanship. Additionally, the material used often carries a warranty from the manufacturer against defects (assuming proper installation). It is the homeowner’s responsibility to check on the availability of all such warranties before any work is performed.
