My husband and I had been looking for a Jeep Wrangler to enjoy on the weekends and take to our lake house. We started our search online and quickly found that the best selection of used Jeep Wranglers in Jackson TN was at American Motors. We were a little shocked at how expensive some of the Wranglers were, but decided to go look anyways. When we got there Garret met us on the lot and walked us around their selection of Jeeps. He was real knowledgeable about the different year models and equipment. We finally found a 2007 Jeep with 60k miles that we liked and went inside to try to work a deal. The manager Mark was quick to meet us and listened to everything we had to say. When it came to negotiating he was tough, but was able to explain how they priced their cars and even compared the Jeep that we were looking at on their lot with others that we looked at in the area. The real impressive part was the amazing interest rate they worked to get us. Great company with an awesome sales staff! Thank you Garret and Mark!

Alan Vines was great! I drove just over 5 hours to see my Durango. I spoke several times with Karen. She even sent me a 360┬░ video of the vehicle. She assured me that the vehicle was in outstanding shape...even looked at it herself...she is not a salesman but the internet corrdinator. She stayed in contact with me throughout my drive and waited till I arrived at the dealership even though it was 7:30pm. I was then greated by Adam! I am exceedingly happy with my Durango...the 5 hour drive was worth it! The only reason for the 4/5 stars was the fact that they didnt want to barter...i bought a 2013 elantra as well and I thought they would discount a little better. However, they did deliver the Elantra to Illinois without a guaranteed sale (i wrote the check on delivery) and gave me a fair amount for my trade in. The sales staff was amazing and friendly...not pushy and i felt they were very honest. The gentlemen that delivered the Elantra were lovely...they sat and visited while my daughter and i drove the car.

My husband and I tried to purchase a Hyundai Azera from a local dealer in our area. After two months of waiting it was evident that we were getting nowhere. We got online and found the car I wanted at Alan Vines in Jackson, TN. My husband spoke to Mr. Mike Jager and worked out a trade amount on my old car and a new purchase price for the Azera over the phone. Since Jackson, TN, is a four hour drive for us, we were hesitant, but made the drive hoping that everything would be as stated. We couldn't have been more pleased. Mr. Jager was as good as his word both for the trade amount he had quoted us & the amount for the new vehicle. I have purchased probably 10 to 15 vehicles and many times have been very disappointed with all the games that are played. There was none of that with Mr. Jager and Alan Vines. I would highly recommend Mr. Jager and the Alan Vines dealership.

Mike made my first time buying a car a great experience. He helped me look for exactly what I wanted and needed in a vehicle. I test drove a couple of different models that I had never been in, especially with all of the new technology in cars. I wasn't planning on buying a car the day I did, but he helped to price out a vehicle I liked just to see what I would have to pay with my trade in vehicle. After talking with him and Randy about pricing we finally agreed on a price and I purchased the vehicle. Since I wasn't planning on buying that day I wasn't prepared to trade in my car, so Mike delivered my car two days later to where I worked, which was 45 miles away. He went over everything again about the car to make sure I understood everything and answered all my questions. It was a great experience and I highly recommend buying from Alan Vines!

After negotiating for a 2012 Sonata Limited, which was brought in from another dealer, we drove in from Jonesboro, Ar to pick up and bring home our new car. The negotiation went smoothly and we felt we got a good deal. When we walked in the doors of the Alan Vines dealership, Mike Jager rolled out the Red Carpet as if we were royalty. During the time we were there, Mike and the others were respectful, courteous, and most patient with us and willing to go the extra mile because we took up a lot of his time. There was no pressure from anyone, PERIOD!! For someone who has been buying new cars for 50+ years, this treatment was a revelation. We are already looking forward to our next trip to buy a new car at Alan Vines. They make it so easy!

For the best car buying experience you can have go to Alan Vines in Jackson TN and ask for Alisa Wilkes!!!. She is an awesome salesperson. Alisa is an experienced salesperson that works extra hard to get you the best deal around. She has excellent skills when it comes to finding the car to meet your needs. There is no rest for this lady until her customer is satisfied. I would recommend her again and again because she actually listened to what I wanted and did not pressure me just to get a sale, instead she treated me with respect and took note of all my concerns and requests. Alan Vines has a jewel in this young lady so when you decide to buy, Alisa Wilkes is definitely worth the trip to Alan Vines.

I initially looked at a used, 2011 Dodge Challenger that Alan Vines had on the lot. Before my wife could see the car, it sold. Clarence Martin, the sales rep, told us that they could find another Challenger and asked what amenities we would want. After telling him what we wanted, he found a new 2012 Challenger and had it delivered within a couple of days. Everyone at the dealership we dealt with was extremely friendly and helpful. After the sale, Clarence stayed in contact with us regarding the new car and told us that he was always available if we needed anything. I would strongly recommend Clarence and this dealership to anyone wanting to have a very positive experience when buying a car.

Allen Vines is the best Dodge dealer I have ever had any dealings with. When my daughter an I walked in we were treated like we were family. They had the car she wanted and made her the best deal of all the dealers we went to. And best of all they made sure that all the numbers lined up and worked for her before applying for credit, the other dealerships we worked with did not, they were more in to if you could buy it or not! We even had two of them apply for credit without having a finial price. Long story short if you need a dodge or Chrysler product you can't beat Allen Vines Automotive in Jackson Tennessee.

I really needed a car and was in a tough jam. I didn't have enough money to buy one and didn't think my credit was good enough to finance a car. I told my salesman Mike about my problem and instead of turning me away, like some of the bigger car lots, he took the time to show me several cars and then helped me get it financed at a payment I could afford! The guy that did all of my paperwork, I think his name was Ken, even showed me what was hurting my credit score and gave me some advice on how to rebuild my credit. The people at American Motors have my business for life!

After our old car was totaled just about a week before Christmas we were worried that we would have no way to get around over the holiday. Luckily our insurance company was able to settle the claim quickly and the staff at Alan Vines was able to find us the perfect new Jeep Cherokee and with the money from the insurance company our payment are super low. Now not only are we set for the holidays but we are set for winter and any other season as well. Thanks to everyone who made this happen so smooth and quickly you have made our family very happy!
Tips & Advices
Among the common scams pulled are needless repairs, where a garage charges you for work that isn't necessary. Another popular one is attracting customers through a cheap oil change or tire pressure check. Then, when you your car is being repaired, they give you a long list of other corrections they'd like to make, therefore boosting the total cost of your bill. The best way to combat these types of problems is getting a written estimate before work is done so you can see how much repairs are expected to cost. If the final bill is higher than the estimate projected, ask to specifically see the work. Make sure information is put in writing as well. If a problem remains, you can have proof that work was not done to your satisfaction.
For winter driving, features such as the defroster, heater and exhaust system are paramount. Look in your owner's manual for specific directions on how features should be checked and repaired. Many newer cars have a cabin air filter that can be replaced when needed, allowing warm air to continue to flow in. Also, check tires before winter driving, as they need to be at the proper pressure to perform well on snow and ice.
In the spring and summer, you want to be sure your air conditioner and cooling systems work correctly. Given the high temperatures, overheating is a common problem. Look over the system by ensuring there is enough coolant available. If it needs to be refilled, it is best to open the hood and add more to the car before it gets too warm out. Also, clean out fan ducts and other ventilation sources necessary for summertime driving.
Some fixes to your car can be done without paying a specialist. Issues like replacing oil and air filters are relatively simple, with instructions provided in the owner's manual on how to make these changes. The same goes for replacing broken windshield wipers or burnt-out headlights. Such issues should be repaired quickly to guarantee safety, but don't require a visit to a garage.
Yes. Not every type of auto repair work needs to be done by a certified mechanic. You can fix some of a vehicle's issues just by paying attention to how the automobile is running and having a basic understanding of auto repair. Look over the ways weather may impact your car and what preventative measures you can take to avoid having to take it into the shop.
