Hallmark Cleaners
Outrageously expensive - ridiculously high - 4 times what I paid in Atlanta...I WILL NOT GO BACK! AND WILL TELL EVERYONE!I took my husband s clothes in to be ironed. They didn t mention that they would charge me $5.00 a piece to iron each item. $5.00! It was $2.50 an item to get them cleaned and ironed when I brought my clothes in before. When I questioned the price, she wasn t helpful, telling me I should have had them cleaned not just ironed. I will not go back. $5.00 to iron each item - outrageous.

Belhaven Coin Laundry
There is an attendant that claims to be the manager. Her name is Lisa or Linda. Whenever I visit this establishment she's always at the door talking to someone and smoking a cigarette. Now mind you, there's only one entry. You would think that if you see someone walking towards a door you would take your conversation and cigarette smoke elsewhere. Nope, not this "manager". When I do laundry, I normally have 3 loads. So that's multiple times I have to squeeze through two bodies and a cloud of smoke while carrying a basket full of laundry. But that isn't the worst. Most recently, I loaded my clothes in the washer but had to leave because my husband needed a ride after being involved in a 3 car accident. A hour later I return to my clothes in a basket near the dryers. I began loading my clothes into the dryer when Lisa/Linda approached me with an aggressive tone stating that she had to remove my clothes because it was busy and other people needed to use the washer. I replied with "that's fine". She continued with "You can't leave your clothes and go and do who knows what" I then told her "I have no qualms with you moving my laundry but I would like for you to stop talking to me". Her retort was "how about I kick you out of this laundry mat" I then asked if she was the owner. She lied and stated that she was then changed it to manager but is fully supported by the owner. I then asked for the owners number. She refused to give it to me because "the owner specifically told her not to give anyone her number". I will never visit this establishment again. I live right up the street and I spent $25 weekly there doing my laundry. I doubt the owner will notice or miss my business but I will definitely be taking my money elsewhere.

Just a moment...
