4.Gaslamp Bar & Grill
1315 NW Mall St
This place is a great place to go have dinner and drinks. If you like to watch a game this is a friendly place to go, you can hang out with your own friends or sit at the bar and get to know the regulars and Bob the friendly bartender. Ask about the dinner specials, you can get just about anything you want to eat here that is good ol' American food. Don't be put off by the staff - this is not a chain restarant and they will tell you what they think, good or bad. Fun people, great strong drinks... hard to get cut off at this place, good food. Try it you are sure to like it!!
5.Rice N Roll Issaquah
1052 NE Park Dr
14 Front St N
Came here on a Saturday night and we found out they don't take reservations.Long wait. But nice mixxed drinks at the bar. Good food and service once we sat down. Disappointing white wine list by the glass. There are so many good wines around, there is not reason a restaurant needs to carry a mediocre Washington wine in this town. Good salmon. Good potatoes and steamed vegetables cooked just right. Can't comment on the steak, which they are known for, but everything else, including dessert was great.
301 Front St N
Last night, the valentine's day night, me and my husband went to dinner at this wonderful restaurant. We made the reservations in the same day, and we were lucky to get seats. We had dinner at the bar, the place was full, but it was very pleasant. Small place but the deco is simple and soft, the service is great, and staff very nice. Great food, and a good wine menu. We arrived 1/2 hour sooner, and we were received with a smile and while we were waiting we had a glass of wine. To start we had the Crab and shrimp spring rolls, and they were really tasty. For the main couse I had the spicy thai linguine and my husband choose the shrimp linguine, both courses were great, and the amount of food in the plate is the right size, not to much, and not to little. For dessert we shared the House Signature Créme Brulée, it was a really tasty sweet. The meal was served within a good waiting time, since we were seated 'till dessert. The bill was accessible. We really enjoyed our meals and the place, and we definitely will return soon .
40 E Sunset Way
This is our families ""go to"" spot for weekend take-out. We call in our order and it's ready in the 15 minutes that it takes us to get from our house down to their shop. The staff is friendly, the food is always really hot & fresh. Love the green beans and chicken :-)
9.Macky's Dim Sum
317 NW Gilman Blvd Ste 43
Macky's is located in Issaquah's Gilman Village, tucked away in a back loop that's maybe not the ideal place for a restaurant, but provides plenty of parking. I have come here on three weekend nights, a Friday and two Saturdays. I can't vouch for the main menu items, since I only ordered off the dim sum page, which is a front-and-back glossy page with photos of all the dishes listed. There are quite a few dishes listed, though the selection is probably not as great as the variety of dim sum found at Top Gun in Bellevue; it's hard to compare since the dim sum dishes at Top Gun are all ordered from the traveling dim sum carts, and there is no formal menu to order dim sum dishes from (on a side note, the cart service is only available on weekend mornings at Macky's, though the dim sum menu is available during all regular hours, so if you want that experience, come Saturday or Sunday morning). The waiting time is generally short, ranging from instant seating to about a five-minute wait. The owners and staff are extremely personable and made a visible effort to make me feel welcome. The owners themselves work to manage the ""small"" affairs of the restaurant, including waiting tables, which is very nice to see. My favorite dishes to eat at Macky's include the most iconic dishes such as 蛋挞 (egg tart), 小笼包 (Shanghai-style steamed dumplings), and 糯米鸡 (sticky rice). They did a good job representing these dishes, and all of them were made to order, so they all arrived steaming at the table. This may increase the waiting time for food, but the dishes began to arrive between 10-15 minutes after ordering, and I feel the wait is worth the freshly-made food. Other dishes I'd recommend include the 芥兰 (Chinese broccoli, of which there is a lot in a single dish, enough for two or three people), 烧麦 (siu mai), and 叉烧包 (steamed pork dumpling). A small bowl of rice is about two dollars, and it makes a good addition to the other dishes because you won't need to order the quantity you'd feel like ordering without the rice if you're looking to eat cheaply. As long as you don't order a mix of dishes from the regular and dim sum menus, you can leave feeling you ate well for a good price. The prices are similar to Top Gun, but the fact the dishes were freshly made, at least at night, seemed to make the flavor and value of Macky's dishes stand out.
10.Cascade Garden Chinese Restaurant
1580 NW Gilman Blvd Ste 1
We have been going to Cascade Garden since early 1990's. Have brought many family and friends here and held our youngest daughter's wedding reception in their banquet room. Love their hot and sour soup, best anywhere along with the Louie's Beef and Sesame Shrimp. We've been to several Chinese New Year's dinners as well and it always a memorable experience. We’ve sample other Chinese restaurants from time to time, but nothing ever compares to Cascade Garden.
11.Noodle Boat Thai Restaurant

One of my favorite restaurants of all time and definitely the best Thai food around. They have fresh ingredients that are delicious! Huge chunks of fruit and/or veggies and amazing service. Would eat here every night if I could. Have been going for years and haven't tried everything cause they have such a large selection. Highly recommend it!

I have been going to this resturant now for a few years and cannot help but write this review because what raymacdonalds states isn't correct, and thought that it would not be fair to the resturant or its owner. I was at yoko's when the fly incident took place. I was at the table next to the asian lady, not ray, because he was sitting across and behind her. The asian lady which had the problem with a fly in her dish was rude to the staff before any incident took place. she was litteraly ordering the staff around as if she'd owned them. Secondly the fly landed on the dipping sauce because her child said, ""oh a fly landed"" When she first complained of this, she asked for her waiter, not the owner, at which point waiter took a moment and went to get his boss. the owner unlike suggested by raymacdonald apologized to the lady and said that the meals were on the house. At which point the lady said ""what ever!"" and didnt even look at him. which was unfortunately the same type of attitude she had since she came in. Thirdly, where is this stereotype you speak of?? I didnt hear anything comming out of the owners mouth, but the lady said something about koreans, at which point the owner gave her a complete refund and told her to not come in to the resturant any more. later, after ray left, I overheard the conversation about the lady between the waiter and the owner. The owner said "" I offered to pay for the meal, but she's just so rude!"" and Finally, I wasn't particulary fond of how the owner of the establishement took care of the situation, but I can understand the frustration of working in a resturant \r ( haven't we all done work like this at somepoint in our lives?) I hope raymacdonalds review doesnt keep people away from this place, because its good food at reasonable prices, and the service here is actually excellent.
17.Tiger Mountain Grill

Friendly and personable service, great affordable food, and a stunning view of the Issaquah Creek. Large selection of food, wine and cocktails. I will definitly be back to see the salmon run in October!
1620 NW Gilman Blvd Ste 3
I eat here regularly for lunch. I am a huge fan of Thai food, my favorite restaurant being D-Thai in Bothell. But since I no longer work in Bothell, I needed to find a good Thai restaurant in Issaquah. O'Ginger is the best. The food is always fresh, perfectly seasoned and served with a smile.
1802 12th Ave NW Ste F
They have something for the whole family. The kids like to watch the ""boats"" go around. Our ,youngest likes the Chicken Katsu kids meal $4.50 and the calamari for $1.75. I also have a vegetarian in the family and she likes the croquettes and udon noodles and well as the tofu in the bowl that is well seasoned. Sushi prices start at $1.75 and go up to $5.00. With the free tea, I can have lunch there for $3.50. It's always busy so it's best to get there early on a Friday or Saturday. Lunch time is busy with businessmen, most stopping in alone for a quick meal.
20.Sunset Ale House
20 Front St S
I've been to this place multiple times for lunch and always enjoy it. Try the Sunset Grinderrrrr for an amazing sandwich!
6100 E Lake Sammamish Pkwy SE Ste B
Teriyaki Bistro is the BOMB! They are by far the best teriyaki in town. The food is fresh and they cook to order on huge grill. I love the chicken, crispy chicken, beef and ribs. Their secret sauce is great. If you are in Issaquah you need to try this place. It's next to the Fred Meyer's. You won't be dissappointed.
99 Front St N
This is a great wine bar! They have a great wine selection, they know the business and awesome service! The owner will make this experience personal, since he is there all the time talking to his clients. We love going there and usually we stop by every week. If you are a chocolate lover, you need to try their dessert. Food is not this great, we always eat before going there.
23.Similan Thai Cuisine
5704 E Lake Sammamish Pkwy SE
This has been our favorite Thai restaurant. Fresh ingredients, terrific sauces & flavors. An enjoyable dining experience.
24.The Boarding House
317 NW Gilman Blvd Ste 7
I live in Kent, so only get there occasionally, but the food is very good. It really tastes homemade. I especially enjoy their pumpkin breadpudding. Their sandwiches are good and would also recommend their spinach salad. Its nothing fancy, but much better than your normal sandwich shop.
