Rick's Car Kare
I went to this place before to get a free inspection through AAA, so they came to mind when i needed some serious work done most recently. I worked with Brian throughout the process. He was extremely kind, informative, and helpful. I loved how quickly the work was done, the quality of the work, and the price. A dealership would've taken my first born for what i had to get done. As an added bonus, they picked me up and dropped me off while the work was being done. I'm definitely dealing with them exclusively from now on.

Abba Auto Service
This is about the Abba auto at 1414 W 6th St. A more accurate name would be Alibaba Automotive. This pack of thieves, charged me to change tie rod ends on my van then for an alignment. The van pull hard to the left after their first feeble attempt. After telling me they would re-align at no charge, they refused to, saying that there was no warranty on alignment and since I had changed the upper and lower control arm myself. If you are looking for good work and a trustworthy mechanic avoid these conmen like the plague.

NTB National Tire & Battery
I arrived at 1:30 to have my tires rotated. Several people came in after me, received service and left. It took them 3 hours and 15mins to do nothing but move my tires around. When the time comes for a new set of tires, I will not buy from this Irving location or any ntb facility.

Cano Chiropractic Clinic
Dr. Cano is a super personable, passionate, friendly and extremely knowledgeable chiropractor and truly cares about your comfort and overall health. He asks detailed questions about your sleep, eating habits, and activity to get to the root of the problem. And he went out of his way to develop a real plan for my pain recovery. I have suffered from ongoing hip, lower back and shoulder issues that have remained unresolved for years despite efforts from other chiropractors, multiple pillow/ mattress changes, undergoing x-rays and regular massage therapy. After a few visits to this office for adjustments, consultations, and acupuncture, I have already noticed slight changes. I'm encouraged that by sticking to a regimen here, the results will be exponentially better compared to my previous experiences. So Glad I found him thank you so much for your professionalism and high level of care.

Texas Department of Public Safety
I showed up 25 minutes after they opened and there were already more than 30 people in line. With 3 kids that mess just wasn't feasible.

Drivers Edge Auto Repair
THIS IS BY FAR THE BEST AUTO CARE SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED!!!! I do mean EVER. DARREN, EVEN OVER THE PHONE, WAS POLITE, ATTENTIVE, WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND for my simple oil change. He pointed out things that needed my attention yet i didn't feel like he was trying to ROB me (up sell me). They are more than accommodating. 5 stars is not enough to give this business and the manager, Darren. if you never really pay attention to actual reviews, PLEASE TRUST ME, GO TO THE IRVING LOCATION (or any drivers edge, as i would hope they all provide the same excellent service) & let them take car of your auto needs.Darren, Thank you so much!!! fyi- i posted the same on other boards. People really need to know.
Tips & Advices
This depends on the facility. Patients should call to find out if they'll need a referral from their physician prior to making an appointment.
Aside from hyperbaric oxygen treatment, most wound care centers offer:
  • Debridement: The removal of dead skin and tissue surrounding the wound. This can be done surgically, using a whirlpool bath, syringes, enzymes that dissolve the tissue, or wet dressings that dry on the wound and absorb the dead tissue.
  • Dressing: Wrapping the wound in a protective film, gauze, gel, or foam.
  • Compression stockings: Tight-fitted fabric sheaths that encourage blood flow.
  • Artificial skin: A covering that is applied to the wound for several days as it heals.
  • Ultrasound: The use of sound waves to promote healing.
  • Growth factor therapy: The use of materials naturally produced by the body to encourage quick cell growth.
  • Negative pressure therapy: Creating a vacuum around a wound to encourage faster blood flow to the area.
Depending on where the treatment is administered, hyperbaric oxygen treatment  can cost $100- $1,000. After insurance is applied, patients may have a copay of $10 -$50 or a coinsurance fee of 10 percent to 50 percent.
Most wounds should heal within two to six weeks. An individual should seek chronic wound treatment if a wound has not begun to heal after two weeks or is not completely healed after six.
Most health insurance plans cover wound care. Patients should check with the clinic and their health insurance provider before seeking treatment to be sure.
