Joan's Self Service Car Wash
This is the crappiest car wash that i have used in all of Dallas. There is always at one if not two of the chemicals not working. It is expensive to use. Especially because it seems that soap is added onto the rinse cycle in order to prolong the amount of time that it takes to wash your vehicle. Also, i do not like having to spray down the concrete when i am finished washing to keep from getting my tires dirty. As much money as i have spent in this car wash, if i had the time, i think i would try and get some of it back. The only thing that this car wash has going for it, is location but for me i wished someone who runs a good business would tear this one down and build an actual good car wash.

We went here Saturday March 14th 2015 as we do once a month every month !! We will not ever go back and are going to tell family and friends to stop going also!!! Some low life that works there took our Grandsons transformers wallet with his Birthday money in it!! Clearly a childs wallet !!! Its bad a enough to steel but from a child who did not know better than to trust that his wallet would be in our car when it was done is as low a person as they come!! I did call and talk to the manager knowing nothing could or would be done just wanted to let them and anyone else out there reading reviews there is a thief that works here!!! DO NOT GO HERE!!! I give them a no star but you cant leave a review without giving at least one!!!

BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE...Had my car washed for the first time at this location. Paid $12.99 for the Full Service wash, which included exterior wash and interior vacuum, wipe down. The wash was okay... nothing special, but fit the price. It rained the same evening. Their website claims they offer a 1-day guarantee for the Full Service wash...and did not mention a price or package description. When I arrived the next day for my guarantee, I was declined. Employees, including manager, claimed the guarantee was only offered on the HIGHER PRICED Full Service wash. And even after I advised him that the website did not mention this difference, he still would not give me the free wash. I wasted my entire lunch break to drive out there for nothing.

Tips & Advices
A green car wash is one that places great emphasis on sustainability. The water used for each wash is scrupulously recycled, and the only products used are those that are bio-based, biodegradable, and gentle on the environment. Some green car washes also rely on renewable energy sources for power.
Many car washes make an active effort to recycle, reclaim, and reuse their water. Recycled water often comprises the majority of the water used for each wash, and, in many cases, the process is precisely managed by a computer-controlled system.
If a car has been newly painted, it's best to wait at least 30 days before applying automotive soap or any other automotive cleaning product. After this 30-day period, it will be safe to take the vehicle to a car wash.
A full-service car wash is one is which all aspects of washing the vehicle are handled by a professional. Many full-service car washes offer different packages that provide different tiers of service.
At a self-service car wash, the equipment and cleaning products are provided, but it is up to customers to provide the labor. Self-service car washes give you a space to wash your car, along with tools, such as sprayers, foam brushes and foam sponges.
