This used to be the place to get your stock for any pond or other body of water. It saddens me to learn how much they have gone downhill. I will make a point to use them one more time, since my experience with them is not current, just so that I may determine whether or not what I'm hearing is true (I fear it may be). Once I complete that order, I will provide a review update.

    Well where to start.

I have been comming here for the better of 18 years.

When I first started going to Zett's there used to be ALOT of catfish stocking, with healthy catfish around the 14 to 27 inch range, mostly being Channel.

You used to be able to pull in 15 to 30 a day, and was fun fast paced and awsome.

Now they seemed to abandon that aspect, and relying instead on a much smaller amount of stocked fish, however being much bigger catfish with alot of blue's, and Flathead.

I love that they stock these bigger fish in, and realize that it can be expensive to do so, however the quality of catching the fish has dropped alot.

Also the ability to let your children under 13 go there and catch alot of catfish around 10 inch's or so has also dried up alot.

There used to be a better assorment of fish, including Bowfin, Gar, Norther Pike, Bass.

However nowadays, all you ever get is Carp, which is solid there, catfish, bigger, but much less, Crappie, ahhh not very fun, low in numbers die in summer.

Same for the trout. Trout fishing in the cooler months is ok, but again not fantastic.

All in all it's still a decent place to go. The prices are not to bad, although a bit higher than they used to be.

You can win money on tournaments for catching the longest catfish which are usually held on the weekends.

It sucks that you can't fish at night, and that they close at 6 PM when they used to be open till 8, then 7.

You can catch pretty big catfish now so I will leave with saying 2 star's out of 5.

8 years ago, I would have gladley given it 4 stars, but the quality has clearly dropped since the wife, and husband went through a divorce.
