The Flower Patch
Over this past weekend I ordered flowers for mother's day. The arrangement was great. But even on the day of delivery, my mother noticed that some of the flowers were already wilting. By the second day, every single flower had wilted ruining Mother's Day for my mother and I. I had considered the shop to be the best in Indio and was considering them for my wedding work, but I refused to continue to buy from a shop that will not stand by their product. I did call the shop about the flowers and they simply blamed my father for the wilting for he picked up the flowers for my mother was not home to receive the arrangement. My father went home right away with the flowers for he like myself come from a horticulture background and understand proper care of flowers and plants, but yet somehow it was our fault that their product did not even last two days. I am very disappointed and will never order from them ever again!!!

You can't smell the fragrance of flowers and you can't touch the petals or leaves before you buy the plant. Additionally, when you buy a bouquet over the Internet, you're basing your decision on a stock photo of the item instead of the actual one that will arrive at your doorstep.

Even though retail florists don't usually grow the blooms or plants themselves, they do know the best ways to keep your arrangement looking fresh for longer.
Flowers, especially the lotus, figure prominently in Hindu and Buddhist religious ceremonies, as well as in these two ancient religions' wedding customs. Many florists provide garlands of flowers to decorate and festoon the functions with.
