Furniture Medic By Westphal
Justin at Furniture Medic-Indianapolis did an INCREDIBLE job of cleaning/deodorizing/restoration of our SOOT-COVERED, SMOKE-FILLED, HEAT DAMAGED furniture including 2 antique twin-bed bedroom suites, large heirloom table, dining room hutch, side table, antique rocking chair and bench, and heirloom couch after house fire. We had been sure that each item was protected and very well cared for before the fire and we were heartbroken to see what the soot and heat had done to these sentimental items that hadn't burned but appeared ruined. Justin could not have been more accommodating, knowledgeable, patient, nice, understanding and thorough! He took us into the warehouse attached to their office to see our furniture and discuss what could/should be done with each item that they had picked up after the fire. He was upfront about expectations and offered his honest opinion on each piece re: what was worth trying to restore. We chose to have him attempt to restore all the items and ALL OF THEM EXCEEDED OUR EXPECTATIONS! There was no odor left in any of the wood and some looked even BETTER than before the fire! (And the upholstery specialist he contracted our couch out to after the wood portions were restored was VERY TALENTED! We provided the material we found that was identical to what had been on the cushions and flat back, and our antique couch was completely restored to its previous beauty!). Justin and his team carefully delivered all the pieces to our house on our schedule in 2 batches as they were completed. This company was recommended to us by a fire-damage specialist and by a neighbor who had used them after their fire. Justin's work and knowledge is outstanding and we are SO THANKFUL to him and Furniture Medic!

K & K Fence
Hello Andrew,I am writing to let you know that your company's professionalism and dedication to getting the job done was second to none. My wife and I were impressed with not only the finished product but the communication and the entire process from start to finish. Bob and his crew were awesome to work with. The very day after completion, an accident occurred where my neighbor hit a rock with his lawnmower, putting a hole in my brand new fence. Your guys came out and replaced the picket right away, thank-you. Thank-you for doing a great job and quite frankly doing what you said you were going to do. I have already recommended your company to several others and will continue to do so.Best of Luck,Nick Baase

My new Door was installed Friday morning. the guy that installed it was very professional and did a good job. I am very happy with his work. Also, this company did not string me along. I didn't have to wait months to get something accomplished. I appreciate that. It looks really nice. I would recommend them to anyone. Thank you so much.Sincerely,Peggy CrimminsKokomo, In. 46901

I had a round coffee that had several nicks and a gouge that required filler and stain. Justen arrived on time and corrected those problems. Looking around we found numerous nicks on our furniture that Justin repaired. Very happy with the service and expect to have him back when the nicks pile up through normal or abnormal actions.

Clear Choice Restoration
I called Clear Choice Restoration because I had water damage in my downstairs bathroom. This company came by very quickly. They took care of my apartment very quickly. They managed to dry up the apartment extremely quickly. I had thought this would take at least a few weeks, but they did it in half that time. Highly recommended!!

Clear Choice Restoration
Clear Choice Restoration is a fully insured and licensed full-service general contracting company and also have years of knowledge in the industry. They offer a free no obligation assessment of your home, so the best general contractor roofing and siding.
Tips & Advices
If there is ever a dispute regarding payment over the course of the project, a contractor or subcontractor could place a payment claim, or lien, on your property. To avoid this, ask the contractor to sign a lien release, which is a legal agreement that states that any payment accepted is final. This can come in handy if a contractor has his or her own payment issues with their subcontractors. Signing a lien release form certifies that any payment made by a client to the contractor is enough to pay for any goods or services rendered.
Absolutely ask. Paying too much up front offers the homeowner minimal leverage if the quality of work does not meet expectations or contractual specifications. Try to establish a reasonable pay schedule, such as paying 10 percent of the total cost for each 10 percent of the work that is completed. Include this payment plan in the contract, as well.
Before any money changes hands, there should be a contract to sign. Make sure the specifics of the work and all costs are listed in the contract, including details. If you forget to have something included in the contract after signing it, there's rarely a chance of recourse.
Ask the contractor for proof of their certification before signing anything, as well as their proof of insurance. You should also check your homeowners insurance policy to see if they offer coverage for contracted work. You may want to call your insurance provider and ask for more details on what your plan will and won't cover.
Yes. Plans for how the work site will be cleaned at the end of each day as well as at the conclusion of work need to be put in writing. An experienced general contractor should make every effort to keep the workspace clean and prevent dirtying or damaging any other area. Even so, talk with the contractor about the daily schedule, the logistics of transporting workers and equipment, and how cleanup will be handled.
