I went to Average Joe's to try out the famed Pork Tenderloin Sandwich. What I got was a dry tough and chewy sandwich that I did not want to finish. This dissappointment was overshadowed by finding the best wings on the planet. I won't say they are buffalo style, but rather a unique flavor unto Joe's. While I was there, it was pre Indy 500 hype time, and this place was dead. The sporting events televsed consisted of collegiate softball and not much else. There was just no energy in the joint.

My son and I went here this weekend and we stayed quite a while watching UFC and NCAA tourney. We stayed because of the excellent service and how well we were treated personally. The girls sat with us and talked like good friends. My son and I have gone there before, but this was the best visit yet. Thanks everyone. If I had a direct link, I would send some pictures

Vistited The Main Event last week on the Thursday $2 u-call-it night. The crowds were a little thick but the service and drinks were still good. The live entertainment was pretty good also - Went back on Saturday night, which turned out to be Karaoke night which was very good as well. A little less crowded, but still a good time. I will go back again, and I reccomend this place to most age groups ... Mixed aged wise, but obviously the higher end crowd of the west side.

Indianapolis has so few outdoor bars/restaurants with great food and people watching. This is by far the best place for 21 and over professionals to hang out after work and into the late evening. Summertime live entertainment and expansive patio make it my favorite.

A friend and I were at the Chili's on west 38th St a couple weeks ago. My friend just recently had a mild heart attack. This was her first time eating out since being discharged from the hospital. She is on a low fat ,low sodium diet and was very confused about what to order. Our server Dustin was kind enough to bring her a copy of the nutritional information for the menu and the Manager (I didn't catch his name) came over to our table and spent a great deal of time with her. He offered to adjust or change the way they made some of the menu items to meet her needs. She did special order a salad with chicken and loved it. I was very impressed with their kindness and know she appreciated it immensely. The foods great and the service is top rate! \r Thank you for being so kind to my friend. \r Paula

Good sports bar, great selections of wing sauce, good selection of beers, friendly service, what else do you need? Easily the best wing place in Speedway.

Gatsby's always offers really good food at a reasonable price. Their menu is similar to what you would find at Applebees or Fridays, a good variety. The salads are huge and always fresh. The waffle fries are the best fries I have had any where...be sure to try them! Parking can sometimes be crowded in the front, there is additional parking in the back as well as a back entrance. As others have said, the only problems are that it can be really crowded at lunch time, so if you only have an hour to eat, you might try going at 1:00 instead of noon. It is also smokey, so leave your coat in the car!

I would have given ZERO stars if it were an option. To start off while eating our chips and salsa we had water dripping from the air ducts on our heads, drinks and food. We requested to move tables. It took over 1 hour and 15 minutes to get the food after we ordered. When we finally got our food it was cold, dry, and very poor quality. After expressing our frustration to our sever she left to see what she could do and never came back. Finally after waiting 30 more minutes we had to get out of our table and go to the front counter and ask fir the manager. The OWNER came out and showed us how poorly the business was ran with no customer service skills. We will not be back and I would not recomend to anyone.
3850 Depauw Blvd
Service was atrocious. Food was ok. Manager would watch 3 of his servers sit at a table and talk while customers are getting up to look for waitresses to get service. One waitress was fully engaged and was working hard to make up for others and one other at about 75%. Ordered a burger which was slightly overcooked, otherwise ok.
