Sleepy Hollow Pet Ranch
One of the few places that grooms cats. They did a good job especially with my older grumpy cat who can be hard to handle.

Hippie Hounds
We take our 2 Chihuahua's - brother and sister to Toni - they are both nervous dogs in general.Toni does great with them - and we always feel at ease leaving them with her.She has always been very inviting and kind to both us and our pets - and they always look great when they come home! Would definitely recommend. Thanks for everything Toni!

Toni has a great way with animals. Her patience and calmness is what it took for my Midnight to be groomed. The love for dogs truly shows!

Sleepy Hollow Pet Ranch
I will not be taking my dog back there again. We went on vacation and boarded her at this place due to its good reviews on here. She came back with hot spots, infected feet, puppy pyroderma, and kennel cough... I can understand the kennel cough and even the hot spots but infected feet and pyroderma are you serious??? Not to mention we paid for a grooming on the day we came back and it was completely half done. They only gave a top bath no trimming nails or hair in between toes and her stomach was black when we picked up. I should have taken her to good dog.

Camp Bow Wow
Hi, if you're reading this, absolutely don't use Camp Bow Wow. We used them a few weeks ago for overnight boarding for the weekend. Fortunately, we downloaded the Doggy Cam app so we could watch our dog play while we're away. Much to our dismay, we barely saw our dog playing. Like, we saw her once, maybe twice per day. For hours on end, their play areas were empty. When we flew back home and picked her up, we asked the 2 girls on staff why we never saw our dog (or any dog) in the play areas. They hesitated and looked away - a sure sign that this question made them uncomfortable. She explained that "the weekend schedule is different" and dogs only "had playtime during mealtimes". So, if you're ok dropping your dog off so she or her can sit in a cage for 2 straight days, this is the place for you. If you actually want your dog to play and be happy while you're away, I suggest choosing one of the many other overnight boarding camps.I should say, our dog hasn't been the same since. She's now very skittish around other groups of dogs. It breaks my heart that she's not the same and my only recourse is to ensure that no one uses Camp Bow Wow ever again.

Bark Tutor
I have been nothing but impressed with the professionalism and talent the trainers at Bark Tutor have shown. Our puppy absolutely loved to go there every day and was so much better behaved when he was done. The preschool sessions really gave him a basis for behavior that would have taken much longer at home. In addition, it gave him much needed socialization during the days during a critical learning period that has made him more confident and less fearful towards other people and dogs. I absolutely love this business and look forward to sending Pickles back for high school.

Hippie Hounds
It was always a chore taking our Siberian husky Bruiser to get groomed. The place we were taking him to - they constantly complained about what a pain he was - and we never really felt comfortable leaving him there. After 3 trips to Toni - he now gets excited about going when he realizes where we are at.Toni has always been great with him - you can clearly tell she is an "animal" person. And she does great work on his never ending coat.I would highly recommend Hippie Hounds to anyone looking for an awesome groomer!

I took my shih zu, poodle mix and lab to Toni and was very happy with the results! She put my nervous dog at ease and made my boys look and smell great!
Tips & Advices
Pets that do not get along with other animals may incur an additional fee. Some facilities have special solitary sleeping and play animals for these types of pets.
A checklist for what to bring to a pet kennel includes:
  • Vaccination records
  • A favorite toy or blanket
  • Food and feeding instructions (if the pet has dietary restrictions or is a picky eater)
  • Medication (if necessary, in its original bottle and with written instructions)
Some pet kennels have veterinarians as part of their daily staff, while others only have vets part time or on call.
Most kennels can provide basic care such as administering medications, but owners of pets with serious medical issues should choose a facility with a veterinarian on call.
Bordetella, commonly known as kennel cough, is highly contagious, and most dogs catch it at least once in their lifetimes. As such, all dogs should be vaccinated at least 7 days before boarding.
