Dance Refinery
The owner of this company is so disrespectful that I ended up pulling both my kids out of the program. After paying to have my daughter's birthday party the owner when asked why a dj could not play for the party her response was " i own the building so that's y " when told that my dj would be more respectful then the ones she has dealt with in the past she called me a liar and got a huge attitude said I didn't know anything about djing and that she knows more about it then I do. When told that her previous experience was due to a lack of respect for her rules and that my dj would respect her rules she got even more of an attitude and said " that we can have our money back and go somewhere else " if we really wanted to. Again has no RESPECT for the people that make her company what it is. BUYER BEWARE

Dance Legacy
Five years have passed since our daughter started taking classes at Dance Legacy. We had originally signed her up to keep her focused and busy...we never imagined the impact of the training she received then and over the course of the next several years. Our daughter is motivated, determined, and focused...all of which is fostered by the classes and instructors at Dance Legacy. Not only is our daughter able to recognize the value of ballet in all styles of dance, but she has developed a love of all the arts and can discuss aspects of technique and artistry in professional work. Her desire to learn and perfect various movements...of which she knows the official names (she is still teaching us the terminology!) can be attributed to the professionally trained staff. Dawn Bandy and all of the instructors take an active role in training students of all ages and abilities. Staff members greet students and families with the utmost respect and enthusiasm. Students are expected to follow routines and guidelines, and they do so because of the professional example modeled by all in the studio. Whether it's ballet, tap, jazz, or summer workshops, we are confident that our daughter is receiving the best training available. Perhaps she will pursue a career with dance, or maybe enjoy it as recreation, or recognize the value of such in others' work. Regardless, Dance Legacy is helping to instill a sense of responsibility and love of the arts in our daughter, and for that we are incredibly thankful. I really don't understand why the person that rated this studio with a 1 star rating and making false actuation's, but shame on you for trying to defame this business.

Lady Joy
One of the sweetest souls I have ever met just had a very disappointing experience at this business. I am copying her experience below. So this is what just happened to me in Lady Joy on Lafayette RoadMe (holding four dresses two of other colors and two white standing outside the dressing room): excuse me can you open a fitting room for me please?Store dude: you can't try those white dresses on because you're wearing so much makeupMe:sir I'm not wearing any makeupStore dude: (who is now speaking pretty loudly in this store full of people) look at your face I can see you have on makeup you can't try on the white clothes!Me: I have shopped here forever, there is no sign posted that says what you're saying first of all, second of all it's not makeup it's my skin (showing him my hands and arms)Store dude: (loudly now) you can't try, you can't try at all you'll get that on the clothes and make my customers look like that too!Ratchet B's in the background: (laughter laughter) he right though ain't no telling how people skin end up like that!I dropped the clothes on the floor, walked out, and cried from 29th and Lafayette to 30th and Emerson. People suck. I pray for the mindsets of this employee/manager and the Heffas that were laughing at the situation. May you be convicted for you evil ways and learn how to treat people with kindness, despite the situation that may be at hand. Shame on you.

Just a moment...
