Used Tire Depot
I bought 3 used tires from this shop on 02/25/17. They said they were great tires and would have them balanced and mounted for around $137.00. An hour after I got home one of the tires was completely flat. Too late to take it back and had to put fix a flat in it so I could get to work. Noticed that my steering wheel was shaking now too. Tookeep it back to the used Tire depot on Monday. They couldn't find a leak and they said they really balanced that Tire. I left and while going home the steering wheel was still shaking at 55 mph. Couldnt go back on Tuesday. Today i stopped at a tire dealer to have them check the tires I bought. They showed me that all 3 tires that I had purchased from the used Tire depot had broken belts in each one. They also showed me that the tires werent balanced either. I called the used Tire depot and one worker said that he was upset that I was calling and saying he didn't Balance the tires. HELLO they showed me that you didn't. I told them I was going on bring back the 3 bad tires that they knew were bad and I wanted a refund. They said that I could come back and get 3 other tires but why would I do that when I can't trust them to begin with. I was told that if I purchased tires from somewhere else they would not let me return the junk tires for my money back. So they basically stole around $137.00 from me. DO NOT buy from this place. It is a rip off. If you want good used tires and with a good Warranty go to Choco rims and tires. These guys are honest and will actually explain and show you what they do. I try to support local business but not when they have no integrity. What a joke.

U S A Good Used Tires
I've been buying tires from USA for several years now from both the Noblesville and Indianapolis stores. The tires I've bought have had really good tread for the money. The last 2 times, however, I had a similar experience as cms74360 and I live farther away than 3 miles. The first instance I got about half way home and my tire light came on. I stopped at a gas station and pumped it up and went back to the store and they found and plugged the leak. There was a small nail in the tire. The second instance after I got home and several hours later when I went to go to work I noticed the tire light on. Checked the tire and it was low. Since this was late at night I went to the corner gas station and pumped it up. Had to pump it up a couple of times while I was out working. After I got home I had about a 2 hour wait until the store opened up. Got up to the corner and pumped it up and headed to the store. They checked out the tire and it had 2 small holes fairly close together. Unfortunately they couldn't patch them. So they gave me another tire instead. The owner was there at this time and had no problem whatsoever with giving me another tire.I have no problem with USA. They take care of their customers!

Discount Tire
I just took my car to Discount Tire at 8335 US Hwy. 31 S in Indianapolis today and was very satisfied with their tire replacement policy and customer service. I purchased the Falken tire about a year ago, and it still had a lot of tread left. I got a flat tire and told Discount that I wanted to claim my Road Hazard warranty on the certificate that I bought. Evan, the salesman, said that was no problem and that Discount would either repair or replace the tire free of charge. Evan said they were very busy, (I was 5th in line), and that it would take about 1½ hours to get the repair done. I told him I would be at a nearby restaurant while I waited. Apparently they worked very fast, replaced the tire, and had the car done in 45 minutes. The restaurant was noisy and I didn’t hear my phone when he called. I was just amazed when Evan walked a block to the restaurant, came inside and told me my car was ready. Now that’s great customer service!

Discount Tire
Discount auto tire is the best place to go for tire care. I have been using them for years and wouldn't go anywhere else. They have given me free used tires that were better than mine when I couldn't afford new ones, and their warrenty is acceptional. For around $15 a tire they will warrenty your tire whether they sold it to you or not. Their warrenty covers anything under the sun! I blew out a tire that was on my new car when I bought the car and they replaced the tire with a $130 dollar Cooper tire at no charge. The warrenty on all 4 tires only cost me $60. When I am waiting in their lobby they always ask if they can bring me a cold bottle of water or a coffee, and they always work to give the best possible price. I have many times told them I just didn't have the money and they adjusted tire prices to meet my budget in order to keep me safe. They are the best in price and customer service, I wouldn't recommend anyone else!

A-1 Tire & Wheel
I went to A 1 tire for a used tired. They had my tire in stock, mounted it and aired up my other tires. Their prices are far better than other businesses I called around to. They offer a 7 day warranty on their used tires. I told them I received a 30 day warranty from a used tire store I used to go to in Anderson. The owner honored that 30 warranty to ensure I was a return customer. The staff was helpful and even let my young son operate the air ratchet. Best place to go in town hands down. Go here for your used or new tires. They won't let you down.

Circle City Hubcaps
I cant say enough good things about this place! Was refered to by a friend and they have exceeded my expectations. Not only did my custom rims come in in just 2 days but they have gone above and beyond by continuously trying to figure out my TPMS when other places would have shrugged me off. Extreemly professional, all employees are family oriented and it is hard to find just an honest group of people that are willing to work for you. They take customer satisfaction to a whole new level. Thankyou for your loyal business!

Freeman Tire & Automotive Inc
I have used this shop a few times from everything from tire purchase/repair to auto repairs. They are FANTASTIC people! They are VERY reasonable, and genuinely care about not only your vehicle but you as a customer! It's so refreshing to find a local shop that you can count on for fair and honest repairs. You don't have to worry about them trying to up charge or suggest repairs that are unnecessary. If you want a true honest reasonable repair, you should call the team at Freeman Tire & Automotive.

A-1 Tire & Wheel
I went to a tire shop to get my tire fixed and the manager told me my wheel was bent and it couldn't be fixed. They gave me a price on a new tire and I couldn't afford it. So I called my friend and he told me about A-1. I went there. They were able to fix my wheel and give me a nice wheel for $90. The customr service was very good too. I didn't feel like I was being taken advantage of because I was a woman. I definitely recommend this place.

A-1 Tire & Wheel
Awesome group of guys. They helped me out with getting a tire on my truck for under $100. I've gone there a couple other times as well, they will find other issues with your vehicle and tell you about it before fixing it, just in case you want to do it on your own or take it elsewhere. Great people and willing to work with you to get you taken care of. Would always recommend to friends.
Tips & Advices
Yes. New tires purchased online can often be priced lower than ones at a tire dealership. Buyers can often avoid state sales taxes and locate hard-to-find tire styles and sizes, but will still have to locate a local tire installer and pay sometimes high shipping costs.
The average cost of a set of new tires is $637, with a range of between $525-$725. In addition, installation includes mounting and balancing, alignment, and disposal of old tires.
The vehicle is raised and the old wheels are removed, then the old tires are removed from the wheels. The lug nuts, wheels, and valve stems are inspected and replaced as needed. The new tires are mounted and sealed, then inflated and balanced. The wheels are then replaced on the car. The average installation takes approximately 45 minutes.
Agencies such as the Tire Industry Association promotes tire safety through advocacy and education to the industry including: manufacture, sales, repair, service and recycling. Seek a full-service tire dealer who carries a wide variety of tire types and brands and asks about the type of driving you normally do.
  • Move your car to a safe location.
  • Turn on your car’s safety lights, apply the parking brakes and remove the hubcap if there is one.
  • Loosen the lug nuts with a lug wrench (but do not remove them), raise the vehicle with a jack and then fully remove the lugnuts.
  • Remove the flat tire and replace it with the spare tire.
  • Tighten the lug nuts by hand, lower the car and then tighten them fully with the lug wrench.
