Promptly greeted, pleasant server, and the salsa is always good. I have been here multiple times and haven't had a dish that wasn't delightful. Most definitely one of my top favorites.

Worst experience of my life. A drink got spilled on my 1 year old child and she didn't apologize. She just asked if we were ok. Like Uhhh no I'm not ok . had to keep asking for refills. My food was wrong and was still cold. Gave us The check before we were done eating. The restaurant was very dirty. Looked as if they were short on servers. The manager was no where to be found until we requested one And still took a while to come to the table. She looked like She had just hopped out her car from smoking some cigarettes. She wasn't any help. Just a horrible place . I will never return.

Positive: Guacamole Negative: Food quality, food temp, lack of food, drinks, price, bathrooms, atmosphere and false advertisement.Being a small business owner myself, I hate giving a bad review because I understand how hard it is to build a company in this social media driven market, but… I will not be dining at Tachita’s Buffet ever again. We accidentally stumbled upon this new restaurant that apparently opened 2 months ago when going to the UPS store and thought it was Mexican buffet, so we asked the man smoking out front. He handed us a flyer saying it was mostly Chinese with Mongolian grill. We had just eaten, so made plans to eat there the following evening since it was late. We arrived at 7pm the next evening and were the only customers. The owner told us to sit at a table while they made fresh food to bring out. (Really strange to be sitting at a buffet not allowed to eat.) A child asked us what we wanted to drink and I inquired if the drinks were included in the buffet price or extra? The child started reciting all the drink options and again I asked if the drinks were an additional price or included with the buffet and he then said they were included. (When the bill came, they were actually an additional charge.) Furthermore, the soda tasted horrible and kept wondering if diet was mixed in and we had to ask for napkins.They brought out a small portion of a few dishes of 3 pieces each or a fresh scoop and added them to the old food already on the buffet. There was no Mongolian grill as the flyer promoted. Another customer came in while we were filling our plates and he continually kept commenting about the poor quality food, the lack of food, the temperature of the food (we agreed with all concerns.) He eventually complained to the owner and left without paying. The owner came over and said, “Do you guys like the food? That guy just complained.” Obviously, now we feel bad for the restaurant that is not going to make it, plus after witnessing that and decide not to criticize. We instead say we understand how difficult it is to start a new business and wished them luck. Something immediately upset my stomach and when I went to use the restroom, the floor was completely flooded and I was wearing sandals with socks so now my socks and bottom of my pants are soaked (35* outside,) I didn’t notice the wet floor sign in the middle of the floor until I had already entered and turned the light on. We stayed over an hour killing time and only saw that one other customer the entire visit. Several employees and family members were coming and going making a lot of commotion. The only positive thing I have to say about this experience was that they had guacamole on the salad bar and I love guacamole, but not worth $23 plus tip for 2 people to eat. FYI: there was “cheesecake” but I spit my bite back out as absolutely none of the food was edible. To be fair, I didn’t try much as the majority looked too horrible to risk. We had Wendy’s drive thru after leaving.

Yummy! First time visiting Queen Taco. Loved it. Simple, cheap, tasty, fast, great salsa bar! I had a crispy chicken taco and a soft taco al Pastor. They don't have a taco Tuesday special - special prices on tacos are Friday ($1.50/each) and Wednesday ($1/each) - tacos are just $1.79 regular price. A one pound burrito is their Tuesday special ($4.50). and they have all you can eat tacos for $8 anytime.

It used to be a good restaurant, but it has changed. The tamale was a roll of corn meal but only about an eighth inch of the tamale on each end had meat with a little hamburger and sauce put on top of it. When the manager was approached he stated that we needed to understand that people make tamale's different ways. A roll of cornmeal is not a tamale! It would have been more appropriate to name it a corn meal roll with meat sauce on top. The manager on duty stated he didn't know the name of the owner. That's highly unlikely. When a waitress tried to state the owner's name, the manager told her to be quiet. He must be ashamed of the owner and it is questionable if the owner was represented by the management and cook. The best tasting thing there were the chips, salsa, beans, and rice. (All are easily made at home and I was looking forward to good Mexican food.) Otherwise the food was very poor. The waitress assigned to our table had difficulty understanding English. .

Worst service I've ever had at a restaurant. Rude employee (manager's niece). She talked to us like we were idiots, gave rude looks and then when it was time to check out and pay.... she didn't say anything. Not how was your meal, etc. She swipped our card, through our receipt at us and turned around and walked off. I chased her down. asked her to speak with a manager, and she stood and argued with me in front of the entire restaurant about how she didn't do anything wrong. I told her I just wanted to speak with a manager so she said sure I'll go get my aunt but I didn't do anything. Manager came out and was very pleasant. Only positive thing from the visit to this restaurant. We explained to her and she apologized... however the employee just stood off to the side laughing at us and nothing was said to her about it. Apparently her behavior was perfectly acceptable. SERIOUSLY THE WORST EXPERIENCE I'VE EVER HAD AT A RESTAURANT! WE WILL NEVER BE BACK! Disappointing.

The last time we were there it was dirty. And the guy wiping off tables with a rag that had salsa all over it. Come on teach people the proper way to wipe a table. Clean rags and a disinfectant. It grossed me out I will drive to the one in Lee's summit. And we live in Harrisonville.
