YP - The Real Yellow PagesSM - helps you find the right local businesses to meet your specific needs. Search results are sorted by a combination of factors to give you a set of choices in response to your search criteria. These factors are similar to those you might use to determine which business to select from a local Yellow Pages directory, including proximity to where you are searching, expertise in the specific services or products you need, and comprehensive business information to help evaluate a business's suitability for you. “Preferred” listings, or those with featured website buttons, indicate YP advertisers who directly provide information about their businesses to help consumers make more informed buying decisions. YP advertisers receive higher placement in the default ordering of search results and may appear in sponsored listings on the top, side, or bottom of the search results page.

1.Piedimonte James R
209 S Spring St0.25 mi Independence, MO Divorce AttorneysAttorneysTransportation Law AttorneysDivorce Assistance
I reached out to the Missouri bar for a custody recommendation. His name was pulled out of the random list of members. At first he wanted to charge a VERY high consultation fee just to talk to me, however the Missouri bar has other requirements for there recommendations(and hopefully will continue to..) . In the end I chose to go with him to support me in the case, because he appeared to be a professional that would care and help. I regret choosing him to represent my case. He required large financing up front. I was able to provide it. However, James charged for every hour(and would round up even if it was just reading an email). He charges had very little to do with what work product he produced or how effective he actually was. He would stop ALL work, and would indicate he planned to withdraw if I did not come up with the financing, in times when he burned though the money setup in the account used for the case. Even after I had provided a large sum of money. He forgot my sons names, in talking to him several times(even though the name is very unique) . When we were about to go to the court house, he proceeded to tell a story about nefarious activities in the past. He charged a large some of money to prepare for court, yet the day of we were able to reach an agreement (invalidating the entire need for all the time he spent.) . The only reason I gave him 2 stars, is his support staff was excellent. They were empathic, and really cared. Its a shame they are working with James, who seems only focused on his own interests and not those of his clients. He also told me several times he would work with me when it came to financials but that didn't appear to anything practical or focused on long term planning. I even tried to bring this up, and when that happened he immediately turned what little debt I had over to collections. While James case knowledge may be good and he may be aggressive in court. I would strongly urge people to consider anther firm for there legal services. Its of course always better to work it out with out courts if possible.
