Went to get a wash, blow-dry, and flat iron at Hair Cuttery Friday the 8th. The girl who did my hair was very nice, but I was surprised at the way in which she combed and blow-dried my hair. She used a very fine comb on my thick curls and complained when it didn't go through the ends. To blow-dry, she just left my hair down and held the blow-dryer up to my head. Not what you usually get when you pay for a blow-out at a salon… I was quoted a price of $27 on the phone, too, but when I got to the register it was 39… With a tip I spent almost 50 dollars. This is the price I pay in regular salon. I thought I'd be getting a deal going to Hair Cuttery. Guess not. The customers in the salon at the time were also very rude, which made it an unpleasant experience. Not again!
We've been going to Cooke's in Hyannis for many years, and it's always good. It's not fancy -- you order food, are given an electronic buzzer and then go find a table. (The upside is that your food comes quickly, and no tipping!) The seafood is always fresh and perfectly cooked, prices are reasonable. The clam chowder is thick and delicious, and there are always specials. Casual atmosphere, but clean and friendly. We'll be back!! (Note: the Cooke's in Orleans and Mashpee are not owned by the same people and may not have the same good reputation.)
Had my hair cut by an awesome and truly talented hairdresser a couple days ago. Before I got it cut it had no life to it, it was breaking and incredibly flat and I really wasn't happy. Paige ended up trimming my hair and adding long layers for more body. The day after I styled my hair as I normally do and it looks so amazing! I am so pleased and I feel extremely confident. Paige was incredibly helpful and she knew exactly what she was doing!! Thank you so much.
menu too upscale for the location. If it wants to remain a year round establishment they will have to go for more of a comfort food menu. I looked over the menu while there and had a hard time finding anything that really appealed to me. More appetizer selections, more just regular menu items.
Friendly, clean, bananas foster french toast. Worth the stop for breakfast. My wife had a western omelette pizza, looked good and she wouldn't share. Side of homemade Boston Baked Beans is delicious.
If you want to feel like a local and enjoy some drinks and bar food, come here. Cash only but you'll love the care given to you by Chris and Dave!
I strongly recommend Zali Pretti, I do wax and I've done facial treatment with her , she is professional, efficient.
I HAVE BEEN HERE A FEW TIMES WHEN VISITING IM coming back this weekend .. the lobster roll and lobster was yummy
Not worth it! Nothing to impressive! Nice place but our meals just did not make me want to stay for dessert!
