Diehl Automotive Specialist
I am new to Diehl. I just purchased an old 2004 Nissan Frontier. It is in good shape, but had 134k miles and I travel a Lot. I had read the good reviews online, so I decided to try. I was upfront that 1). I am not mechanical and 2). I am not loaded with money. After doing a large amount of preventive maintenance at my request (timing belt, water pump, tensioner, 3 seals, thermostat, antifreeze)...I also listed several other things that costs hundreds that I wanted done if needed, and I was assured they were almost like new and to not waste the money. This is the kind of service I appreciate. I expect good work to cost a little more than someone else's sloppy work, but it is also very nice to get honesty. I cannot more highly recommend these folks and plan to do much more business in the future. They repaired the truck in faster than the scheduled time & when I have had follow up questions they were super helpful and even looked at something else, putting it on the rack for free.

Fusion Nail Spa
For years I have been all over the Huntsville area searching for a salon that I could rely on for my nail care. I have found that by far the best Spa I have EVER experienced is the new Fusion Nail Spa next to the new Kroger on Highway 72. Their work is beautiful and durable. The hygiene of the spa is flawless. The ambiance is beautiful and the energy of Fusion is entirely positive. They seem to use high quality products because I have never had chipping, lifting, mold, or any other problems. I have found the staff to be consistently professional and friendly and the waiting time is almost always very reasonable. The staff at Fusion is very accommodating. The best part of all is that they keep their prices competitive and are usually running specials. If you haven’t tried the Fusion Nail Spa, I highly recommend that you do. I, for one, won’t let anyone else touch my nails now that I have found Fusion.Carol HowardHuntsville, AL

I'm very picky about mechanics. I do some of my own work so I often get the sense I'm getting ripped off with the hours charged. Also, they tend to rather talk down to me because I'm a woman. Not here! They were very willing to talk at length to explain and discuss. The quote I got was reasonable, detailed, prompt, and slightly less than other shops I got quotes from. We chose to do the work ourselves, but brought it in later for something that turned out to be a dumb embarrassing we made in that process. They just fixed it, teased us and sent us on our way without charging anything. They know we will be back! The shop is messy and sometimes the phone doesn't get answered because they are working. But it is worth it.

I have found my new place to take care of me...believe me I'm extremely picky and I just loved all of them. They make you feel like part of the family. Moon (the owner) made me the best Vietnamese coffee which was my first. Wanda did an excellent job on my nails, as did Michael on my feet. I have been in the industry for 30yrs and I can honestly say I have found my new place FINALLY. They are so caring and strive for excellent customer service...I will be making more visits now that I have found my place...Thanks guys you are awesome! Loved my experience, will send people your way...<3<3<3 and hugs and kisses to little Na, you are a darling!

Christian Brothers Automotive
I was extremely pleased with the service I received at CBA. They went out of their way to make me comfortable with their service and what repairs they determined were necessary. Their goal is to do the right thing for the customer every time, which means only doing necessary repairs and not creating problems that don't exist in order to increase your bill. CBA definitely has proven that I can trust them to do me right, which is a huge blessing when it comes to auto repairs. I enthusiastically recommend CBA.

NTB National Tire & Battery
I was very impressed with the politness and promptness of the personnel at this store. I don't know what the young man's title was at the desk, but he kept me informed through out the entire time of my visit with the status of my car. My son has used this business for several years now and he has also been very pleases with all aspects of their service. We will both continue to patronize this establishment for as long as they are here.

Classy Nails
Its very hard to find a nail salon when your new in town. Well this is my new place! Its large and bright. It has a decent nail color selection and the place is clean. Not food serving clean, but nail salon clean. Sonny did my color tip nails for $35 and I love them. Both my nail and pedicure tech spoke great English. They do waxing also. I have no complaints! They are not overpriced and the location is perfect.

Salon Salon
I highly recommend Salon Salon. The atmosphere was nice / beautiful with good lighting. The stylist are professional , caring, and willing to provide a salon service experience. I feel the prices are reasonable and my stylist wanted to work with me to allow my cost to be kept at a minimum. I highly recommend Kathryn Burgess she was sweet, friendly and did an amazing hair style, and color.

Johnson's Full Service
These guys are honest, straightforward, no nonsense. I have a Lexus GX470 and was told by the dealership to replace the alternator and batter would be ~1K. Johnson's gave me a lifetime alternator for less than 400 installed. They also fixed the fender sticking out, at no charge. As a single woman, I would recommend going to these guys if you don't want to be taken for a 'ride'.
Tips & Advices
Among the common scams pulled are needless repairs, where a garage charges you for work that isn't necessary. Another popular one is attracting customers through a cheap oil change or tire pressure check. Then, when you your car is being repaired, they give you a long list of other corrections they'd like to make, therefore boosting the total cost of your bill. The best way to combat these types of problems is getting a written estimate before work is done so you can see how much repairs are expected to cost. If the final bill is higher than the estimate projected, ask to specifically see the work. Make sure information is put in writing as well. If a problem remains, you can have proof that work was not done to your satisfaction.
For winter driving, features such as the defroster, heater and exhaust system are paramount. Look in your owner's manual for specific directions on how features should be checked and repaired. Many newer cars have a cabin air filter that can be replaced when needed, allowing warm air to continue to flow in. Also, check tires before winter driving, as they need to be at the proper pressure to perform well on snow and ice.
In the spring and summer, you want to be sure your air conditioner and cooling systems work correctly. Given the high temperatures, overheating is a common problem. Look over the system by ensuring there is enough coolant available. If it needs to be refilled, it is best to open the hood and add more to the car before it gets too warm out. Also, clean out fan ducts and other ventilation sources necessary for summertime driving.
Some fixes to your car can be done without paying a specialist. Issues like replacing oil and air filters are relatively simple, with instructions provided in the owner's manual on how to make these changes. The same goes for replacing broken windshield wipers or burnt-out headlights. Such issues should be repaired quickly to guarantee safety, but don't require a visit to a garage.
Yes. Not every type of auto repair work needs to be done by a certified mechanic. You can fix some of a vehicle's issues just by paying attention to how the automobile is running and having a basic understanding of auto repair. Look over the ways weather may impact your car and what preventative measures you can take to avoid having to take it into the shop.
