Rocky Ridge Landscaping
Nice to find a company that actually has enough pride to take care of their customers and their projects. I had a paver patio, fireplace, and landscape package installed by Tim and Rocky Ridge, and they cleaned off driveway after every day, made sure to keep trucks out of the driveway so my wife could leave for work, and they would even close the gate from back yard a few times a day to let the dogs out (without complaint). After the installation was done I signed up for a year of landscape maintenance services with them. Fourth landscape company I have used in the last several years, and so far this is the best.

Rentz Landscape Management
They service were I live and WOW! Even in this drought our grass is amazingly green and the cut looks great. They were out here the other day and the crew leader was so nice and stopped his lawnmower as I walked by, and then got off to hand me something I dropped. The bushes always are cut so I can see out my window and have a nice view. I have to say they are the best company I have seen in my 5 years I have been in town. Highlights: Great Workers, Great Work, Equals Great Company

Ron's Mobile Lawn Mower Service
Just had our riding mower repaired by Ron and he was incredible. He also gave me a military discount.I highly recommend him to anyone who needs their lawnmower serviced. The fact that he came here instead of me having to find a way to get the lawnmower taken to a repair shop was a huge help.Definitely 5 star service and much more. I'm so glad I remembered seeing his trailer parked at a neighbor's house a couple of years ago.

TruGreen Lawn Care
Your service is very good. It's all about the grass and the weeds and on both counts you're doing rather well. Before I used your service I used to get quite a few weeds, but not anymore. My grass is becoming thicker and greener since we begun your service and the lawn truly stands out in our neighborhood. I'm proud to tell folks that I'm using TruGreen and that's why I have such a healthy looking lawn. Thank you.

Rocky Ridge Landscaping
I've met a few Landscapers before because it seems that everyone with a lawn mower and a truck is all of a sudden qualified to take care of my lawn or anyone's for that matter. Tim at Rocky Ridge Landscaping was actually licensed and insured and well qualified. He really knew what he was doing and had a passion for what he does and how well he does it. Id refer him to my friends and family which says a lot.

Rocky Ridge Landscaping
Ive met with the owner Tim and was pleased to see how legit they are. Today for someone to be a Landscaper all they need is a truck and a cheap lawn mower from Lowe's. You see them riding up and down the streets all day. Rocky Ridge Landscaping is actually qualified with a real skill and knowledge. I would be comfortable referring him to family.

TruGreen Lawn Care
The services are done on the proper schedule. The service gentleman doing the service knocks on the door to let us know he is there and again when he leaves. Any areas of concern are brought to my attention. The service is done professionally. I would recommend TRUGREEN service to any family, that cares about lawn and home pest treatments.

TruGreen Lawn Care
As always we received great service from Trugreen service technicians. They always knock on the door to ck with us first. If we are not at home they treat our lawn or shrubs as scheduled and leave our receipt on the door. It's nice that they explain to us on the receipt what they did & any instructions for us. Great service.

TruGreen Lawn Care
This TruGreen visit was timely with respect to preparing the lawn for winter. Our specialist is always friendly and leaves detailed information about what he did and why. We continue to be pleased by TruGreen's service, both scheduled as part of an annual plan, and incidental whenever a problem might arise.

Harrell Lawn Care Services, LLC
George and his crew did a fantastic job with my yard. My lawn pattern was cut straight, everything trimmed, and everything was blown off including my driveway, back patio, and front porch. Very reasonably priced, fast, and most importantly, they are friendly people. Thanks George!
Tips & Advices
Irrigation system advantages:
  • Lowers water bill and maintenance time with scheduled watering
  • Evenly distributes water
Irrigation system disadvantages:
  • Professionally installed systems cost between $3,000-$4,000 for a quarter-acre lot.
  • Some do-it-yourself systems cost up to $1,500 but are difficult to install.
  • You may need to call a professional electrician and plumber, adding $300-$600 to your project.
Some plants can stand up to the cold weather, like kale or pansies. These can be planted in the autumn or early winter. Other plants need to wait until the soil is warm and ready. Plant perennial flowers in mid-autumn or mid-spring. If you're planting from seed or sprout, you can generally find information about planting conditions on the package.
Why get artificial grass?
  • Cuts down on lawn maintenance
  • It's environmentally friendly since there‚Äôs no need to water.
  • Artificial grasses may be more attractive than real grass in drought-stricken areas.
Why stick to the real deal?
  • Artificial grass has a high upfront cost - $15 to $20 per square foot.
  • It can be difficult to install.
  • Inexpensive options might look unnatural.
  • It gets hot in the sun.
First, determine which pests you're dealing with. Mounds or tunnels indicate moles or voles. Apply castor oil to your lawn; they'll find another digging spot. Determine which bugs you have by pouring a bucket of soapy water onto the lawn. The bugs will surface so you can identify them. Milky spore and nematodes keep grubs and other bugs at bay. Insecticidal soap also works. The best way to prevent pests is with good yard maintenance. Certain bugs prefer overwatered lawns or yards with thatches. Regular mowing, watering, and dethatching discourage pests from moving in.
Fertilizer isn't always necessary, but it can keep your lawn looking lush and healthy. Use fertilizer with slow release nitrogen so it doesn't encourage weeds to grow. Keep in mind that overfertilizing can spur weed growth. However, under-fertilizing can result in weak grass, which gives weeds more space to take root.
