I am new to Diehl. I just purchased an old 2004 Nissan Frontier. It is in good shape, but had 134k miles and I travel a Lot. I had read the good reviews online, so I decided to try. I was upfront that 1). I am not mechanical and 2). I am not loaded with money. After doing a large amount of preventive maintenance at my request (timing belt, water pump, tensioner, 3 seals, thermostat, antifreeze)...I also listed several other things that costs hundreds that I wanted done if needed, and I was assured they were almost like new and to not waste the money. This is the kind of service I appreciate. I expect good work to cost a little more than someone else's sloppy work, but it is also very nice to get honesty. I cannot more highly recommend these folks and plan to do much more business in the future. They repaired the truck in faster than the scheduled time & when I have had follow up questions they were super helpful and even looked at something else, putting it on the rack for free.

I've always been intimated by car salesman, because I have had bad experiences in the past at other dealerships, but this experience at Mercedez-Benz Huntsville was totally different. David Goodwin was very easy to work with. David really took the time with me, and put me at ease; he explained the functions of the car; got my cell phone set up for hands free so I wouldn't have to worry with it later; and has called me several times to check to see if I have had any problems or questions, even saying if I didn't have time to drive in for the oil change (I live about 1 hour away and work full-time) that he would come get it and bring it back. You don't get better service than that. It has just been a great experience for me. I will definitely recommend David to my friends, co-workers and family. AAA+ for customer service. I plan to be part of the Mercedes-Benz family for a long time.

I'm very picky about mechanics. I do some of my own work so I often get the sense I'm getting ripped off with the hours charged. Also, they tend to rather talk down to me because I'm a woman. Not here! They were very willing to talk at length to explain and discuss. The quote I got was reasonable, detailed, prompt, and slightly less than other shops I got quotes from. We chose to do the work ourselves, but brought it in later for something that turned out to be a dumb embarrassing we made in that process. They just fixed it, teased us and sent us on our way without charging anything. They know we will be back!The shop is messy and sometimes the phone doesn't get answered because they are working. But it is worth it.

I was extremely pleased with the service I received at CBA. They went out of their way to make me comfortable with their service and what repairs they determined were necessary. Their goal is to do the right thing for the customer every time, which means only doing necessary repairs and not creating problems that don't exist in order to increase your bill. CBA definitely has proven that I can trust them to do me right, which is a huge blessing when it comes to auto repairs. I enthusiastically recommend CBA.

I was very impressed with the politness and promptness of the personnel at this store. I don't know what the young man's title was at the desk, but he kept me informed through out the entire time of my visit with the status of my car. My son has used this business for several years now and he has also been very pleases with all aspects of their service. These guys are honest, straightforward, no nonsense. I have a Lexus GX470 and was told by the dealership to replace the alternator and batter would be ~1K. Johnson's gave me a lifetime alternator for less than 400 installed. They also fixed the fender sticking out, at no charge. As a single woman, I would recommend going to these guys if you don't want to be taken for a 'ride'.

I wish I would have closed the original deal with Bentley; their prices are by far the lowest and their customer service is top notch! Avoid overpaying and stick with Bentley! Costly lesson to learn...

Among the common scams pulled are needless repairs, where a garage charges you for work that isn't necessary. Another popular one is attracting customers through a cheap oil change or tire pressure check. Then, when you your car is being repaired, they give you a long list of other corrections they'd like to make, therefore boosting the total cost of your bill. The best way to combat these types of problems is getting a written estimate before work is done so you can see how much repairs are expected to cost. If the final bill is higher than the estimate projected, ask to specifically see the work. Make sure information is put in writing as well. If a problem remains, you can have proof that work was not done to your satisfaction.
For winter driving, features such as the defroster, heater and exhaust system are paramount. Look in your owner's manual for specific directions on how features should be checked and repaired. Many newer cars have a cabin air filter that can be replaced when needed, allowing warm air to continue to flow in. Also, check tires before winter driving, as they need to be at the proper pressure to perform well on snow and ice.
In the spring and summer, you want to be sure your air conditioner and cooling systems work correctly. Given the high temperatures, overheating is a common problem. Look over the system by ensuring there is enough coolant available. If it needs to be refilled, it is best to open the hood and add more to the car before it gets too warm out. Also, clean out fan ducts and other ventilation sources necessary for summertime driving.
