Thompson, Amy D DMD PC
I love her! I do NOT have perfect teeth and I HATE Dentists!!! Most people that write reviews can't speak towards the actual quality of the experience. Well, I can!!! Most Dentists are only worried about how much money they will make off of you, even before you even sit in their chair.... not Dr. Thompson. She listens to your concerns gives her expertise/opinion and the two of you form a plan that best suits your life, smile, and budget!!! She has worked on almost my entire family, I have referred friends, and even had a cousin work there as she was starting her hygienist prerequisites. Dr. Amy is where you want to go no matter the issue! Love her and her staff!!!!!

The many positive reviews are well-founded. I had gone close to 2 years between checkups due to relocating to Huntsville and was not looking forward to finding a new dentist. Hygienist Eunice did a fantastic job getting my teeth clean with low pain, best in over 15 years. I am very pleased with the results. What I like most about the practice is the professional treatment and "no-drama" process. The facilities also were modern and spotlessly clean. Dr. Wright was very efficient and personable, I highly recommend this practice.

Chase Family Dentistry
Dr. Clayton and the staff at Chase Family Dentistry are great! I have been using them for over 5 years and have always been pleased with my cleanings and a couple of (my fault, I don't like to floss) fillings. Dr. Clayton is the best dentist I have ever had, she always take the time to ask me if I have any questions and make sure I understand everything, very professional. You can tell the whole staff really cares about their patients. It's nice to look forward to going to the dentist.

Hendrix Lawrence Dr
Dr. Hendrix is the most caring dentist I've ever been to. The staff is friendly and he goes out of his way to make sure I am at ease. He does not ever do any procedure that is not necessary , unlike some that I have been to who seem to just want the money. I trust that he has my best interest.

Perkins, Jennifer Jeffress DDS PC
Very caring dentist and staff. Dr. Perkins was our Dad's dentist for years. He had 2 molars pulled when he was 89 years old and had Alzheimer's. They were so gentle and his recovery was speedy with no problems. Thanks Dr. Perkins!

Bishop, Deborah S DMD
Dr. Bishop does a thorough job with good equipment and good staff. If I have one complaint--she's always overbooked and the wait can take hours--bring a good novel like "War and Peace".

I have been taking my children to Dr. Brown for several years and have been happy with the whole facility and staff as a whole. They provide excellent service and manners.
Tips & Advices
  • If a tooth decays and the nerves or pulp (soft internal tissue which helps teeth develop) become inflamed or infected
  • If a tooth is cracked or broken and nerves are exposed
This generally depends on any specific issues you wish to address with your teeth. There are toothpastes designed to whiten teeth, fight cavities, decrease sensitivity, prevent bad breath, resist gingivitis, and those specific to children (with lower fluoride content). There are also toothpastes that offer “complete” protection by combining aspects of many of the above toothpastes.
It’s recommended to get a professional cleaning at least two times per year.
  • Desensitizing toothpaste numbs the nerves in the teeth that can cause discomfort.
  • Mouth guard can protect against grinding teeth during sleep.
  • Fluoride treatment can be applied by dentists to sensitive areas to numb teeth and strengthen enamel.
  • Root canal can treat problems in a tooth’s core.
  • Surgical gum graft where a piece of gum tissue is removed from a section of the mouth to cover an exposed root.
Not everyone needs to have their wisdom teeth removed, but there are certain signs that can help you and your doctor determine if yours should be:
  • Wisdom teeth are pushing other teeth around, causing pain and misalignment
  • Cysts form around newly emerged wisdom teeth, causing jaw damage
  • Gums get inflamed and swollen, causing cavities and pain
  • Doctor determine from x-rays that wisdom teeth will cause problems in the near future
