Haddad Jewelers
We have been going to this jeweler almost since they opened. He sells wonderful high end custom designed pieces. You will not find the mass merchandising stuff you find at places like Kay's. If you do not find what you want he will custom design your piece. He only uses the best stones and materials. If the piece does not come out the way you wanted it he will redo the piece. When dealing with a high quality dealer it is not customary to allow photos of his pieces (some one else gave a bad review because of that). He values his clientele and always takes all the time you necessary to get what you have envisioned or want. I know this from experience as I have had several custom pieces made for us. He has also takes the time to repair and/or refurbish my family watches and clocks so they can be handed down to future generations. As far as Rolex watches go his company really can make the repairs necessary to keep it in excellent working condition which is more than I can say for others.I would highly recommend Haddad's Jewelers for those who have discerning taste and demand excellent service

This guy is a thief from Iran, I have a $173,000 South Dakota judgment on him for his stealing from Larsen's Jewelry. Do business with him AT YOUR OWN RISK!

Sara Jewelers
Long story short, they scratched up the back of my watches trying to open them. Some of the indentations are deep and permanent. I will NOT be going back here.(This is for Sara Jewelers on Blackhawk, the jewelry business inside of HEB.)Before taking my watches to this place, I took pictures of them, just in case. This is a new business and I was unsure of them. I will upload the pictures to this business page, unless somebody deleted them, in which case you can view the compiled image here: took my departed father's watch and a (virtually unused) pocket watch to Sara Jewelers on Blackhawk for a battery change. When I received the items, I was happy to see the old watches ticking again. But when I went home to compare the watches to the pictures, I realized that the backs of them were scratched up badly.I can probably get most of the scratches out (a quick Google search of "scratches in stainless steel" is heartening) but the indentations on the back of my pocket watch are so deep. They will be permanent reminders to check Yelp/Google first before bringing family heirlooms to strangers. I am very disappointed with this business.Timeline and other things:> Before using their service, I asked for the price of a watch battery change. Her answer: $10> Next day (Saturday), I brought my watches to the salesperson (Nadiya on the receipt). She charged me $35 total. ($20 for the watch, $15 for the pocket watch.) I accepted because $20 is the amount I was charged elsewhere, but I was still irritated at the price change.> She told me to come back on Sunday because she had trouble opening the pocket watch due to "curved glass." She had to ship the pocket watch to a workshop.> I came back Monday. Pocket watch had not arrived. She told me to come back on Thursday.> I came back Friday. Received my pocket watch, noticed indentations. Wrote this review.

I went to this location with jewelry that I did not purchase from them. They made a free adjustment to the bracelet. I was very pleased. My next jewelry purchase will be at this store. Thanks Victor Ortega

Eve's Custom Jewelry & Repair
Eve's advertises itself as specialists in custom jewelry. Today I took 5 large loose gemstones, each between 80-130 carats in size. The head lady was at lunch and, once she returned, had a customer appointment ahead me. After waiting 35-45 min, I laid out my selection of gemstones and was quickly told they were too large, too labour intensive to make as sterling silver mounted pendants. The price to mount one gemstone, an oval Madeira Citrine, would be $500 and would take 6-8 weeks. "We get busy around the holidays." Needless to say Eve's won't be getting my business. $3,000 to mount 6 large pendants in sterling silver??? Maybe Eve's is inexpensive for some but not from my experience today. Personally I can't recommend their services.
