Romano's Macaroni Grill
This restaurant is honestly the best bang for the buck place. Portions are massive and mouth watering good. It's my go to place for dates!

Franca's Real Italian Restaurant
Great family atmosphere however the food lacks taste. I ordered the Italian plate and my husband the Eggplant parmigiana. With both plates came a salad, which was the worst presentation and lack of restaurant quality I have ever experienced. Both plates came luke warm. Here's a hint, if the waiter can carry the food plate with his bare hands that's a sign. Our appetizer, calamari, was over cooked. The eggplant parmigiana was good, however the pasta sauce had no flavor. The best thing we were served was the bread. The bread was delicious. My thought process is when I go out to eat and pay$15.00 per plate I expect it to taste better than what I can do at home and that includes appetizer and the salad. Save your money, unless you like bland food. When I think of Italian I think of all the Italian spices and flavors of which I tasted none at Franca's.

Olive Garden Italian Restaurant
The food is OK. I ordered spaghetti with 5 cheese marinara and meat balls. It was fair, it didn't taste fresh. Salad was good as always. The service was nice nonexistent

La Vista
La Vista is a great neighborhood Italian spot in Houston, Texas. This casual, indoor/outdoor seating, BYOB (conveniently located next to Rice Epicurean if you want to buy a bottle of wine before dinner), moderately priced restaurant is exactly the place you are looking for on weekday night. Food is great and the menu offers something for everyone.

Spagetti Western
I really like the Chicken Caesar Salad and Bread Sticks. It is very good. The tea is good and the waitresses and waiters are nice. I had my birthday here last year. There is a nice area in the back for parties. There is a nice little bar, like a neighborhood meeting place. I see people talking to each other and laughing, they must be the regulars. It is a great lunch place. It is close to Timbergrove and Lazy Brook.

Olive Garden Italian Restaurant
Ordered steak tuscano with oven roasted potatoes, bell peppers and onions. Was served potatoes with very pungent fried jalopenas. Waiter claimed he didn't know about bell peppers. Ask me if I wanted peppers and onions. I assumed this would include potatoes but did not. I just gave up and this was okay. No steak knife was presented with the meal. We had ordered a chicken Parmesan but when we went to pay it was not there. The waiter had forgotten to place the order. This was not our night. Spoke to manager said he was new but nothing was offered for our poor service! Disappointing! Won't last long if this type of service continues.
