1960 Family Practice
Not even worth one star.Do not go !!!!! Disgusting how they run toooo many unnecessary tests, then provide blanket results. 'Cold'My husband and I both went in and saw two different doctors over a month a part and both were diagnosed with shingles. Neither of us had. Today both my kids have a common cold - and after 4 hrs in their office and chest x-rays and 6 prescriptions later..... We are going home with flu pack, ibuprofen, nasal spray for both kids. The lady taking their vitals (NOT a nurse) did not know how to use the weight scale that took my kids weight - she didn't know how to read their height. They are a joke. As a family we are now searching for new care professionals.

I went to the sleep center for obvious reasons. The ladies at the sleep center were wonderful. They were very kind and took really good care of me. I was comfortable and felt safe there. The problem arised when I tried to get my results. I was told at the sleep center that I would get my results the following week. My insurance was charged 12,000 dollars and the accoount has been paid. I have called 2-3 times and each time I am sent to a voicemail telling me that I will get something in the mail and no one ever returns the call. I was seeing a doctor there as a PCP, but I will be finding a new place to go. Not sure why I can't get the results.

My mom is in their therapy/pain management program. It helped her so much she asked me to leave a review for her this is what she said. "Evelyn and Faye were super nice and helpful throughout my time. They gave me great advice. Evelyn showed me how to do so many things. Dr. Henks and Vivian are a super team. They are both exceptionally helpful, knowledgeable, and understanding. The program helped me to learn how to handle my pain ans so much more. Can't say enough about the program. This was rhe opportunity I needed to get my pain under control.

Been going here for 2 months for physical therapy. Nadia has been so professional and sweet to me always concerned about my pain levels and how I was doing. It's a special thing when you get that kind of treatment.

Cypress Family Practice
I called on a Thursday to set up an appointment for a serious issue, and I was told that I could not be seen until Tuesday... I am so frustrated with the lack of concern for patient needs. The receptionist had no sense of hospitality and was not professional at all. I have been a patient at Cypress Family Practice for 10 years, but now I see I am going to need to find another Family Physician.

I believe they have changed Doctors. Dr. Bang and his staff were excellent and I was seen quickly. I got the medication I needed and felt very well taken care of.

An osteopathic physician practices a comprehensive form of medicine that takes a holistic approach to a person's health. Instead of specializing in one system or set of organs, an osteopathic specialist focuses on the health of the total body. This includes evaluating environmental factors that affect a person's well-being.
Many family doctors deliver babies, especially in rural areas without a nearby OB/GYN. However, most family doctors only deliver for low-risk pregnancies and do not perform cesarean sections.
Family nurse practitioners are highly educated nurses able to provide medical care individually or with the assistance of another professional. Family nurse practitioners obtain a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and then take the National Council Licensure Examination to begin working as a registered nurse. Then, they continue their education and obtain a Master of Science in Nursing. Following that, they become certified in family practice via the American Nurses Credentialing Center of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, allowing them to become certified family nurse practitioners.
Some family doctors provide immunizations while others do not. Typically, doctors who work as part of a large practice are more likely to offer vaccines in-house. Doctors in offices of one to two physicians are more likely to refer patients to a public health department or other immunization provider.
A physician's assistant is a person qualified to perform routine medical services. This individual is professionally licensed and certified, but they may not have the extensive med school education of a doctor. That said, PAs do complete almost three years of postgraduate study and more than 2,000 hours of rotations.
