Lichtig's K-9 Academy
My husband and I just finished Bryce and Angie's six week basic to advanced obedience training and behavior correction. We couldn't be happier! Trigger (our australian shepard/blue heeler mix puppy ) came with no training, and a fear aggression to new people and other dogs. Per our request, not only did Bryce train our dog to full obedience, but he also brought in his dogs (super well trained, to an impressive competition level) to help Trigger learn how to greet new dogs. We spent six weeks learning sit, lay down, climb (an awesome, rare obedience technique of stay), loose-leash walking, heel, sit and lay down while in a heel command, leave it, down, and free (another awesome command). He taught Trigger these steps, but also worked with my husband and I to help us understand why trigger was acting out, or how he understands each command. We couldn't be happier with our transformed puppy! Bryce and Angie came to our place to work with Trigger in our own environment, and that in and of itself sold us! These two are the real deal, havung trained for six months to a professional level, and they were worth every single penny! Our only regret? Not calling them sooner!

Tiffany Kennels
I can't say enough about Tiffany Kennels and the all around service and caring they have provided my dogs over the past 15 years. We recently lost our oldest-- a 16 year old Standard Poodle named Lucie. We are certain that she would not have made it these past 3 years if we had left her at any other boarding facility. Towards the end she required exceptional care and attention and the experienced staff was able to provide that and more. My work requires I travel frequently and at times for many weeks. I would not have been able to leave in good conscience if I didn't know that my dogs were taken care of to the level I feel they deserve and need. My kids are an extension of the Tiffany Family and that's just the way it is. I'm about to get a new puppy and I'm looking forward to introducing her to her older sisters as well as Tiffany's.

Tiffany Kennels
I have been taking my pets to Tiffany Kennels for over 25 years and cannot think of boarding my children anywhere else. I moved to Galveston over 13 years ago, and I still drive them to Tiffany Kennels. I also have several friends here on the island who drive their babies to Tiffany as well. My children are always extremely excited about boarding there and when I pick them up, they are always are clean, rested and I can tell they have been well taken care of. I can just picture my Alex and Gracie lounging around the kennel as if it were a Five Diamond Luxury Resort and being taken care of as if it were. I wouldn't take my children anywhere but Tiffany Kennels. You know the old saying, There's Nothing Like Breakfast at Tiffany's.

Best Friends Pet Care
I have been taking my dogs to Best Friends for years. All of my dogs over the years have loved staying at Best Friends. When I pick them up, they are happy and healthy. Best Friends sends me pictures when I am away showing my dogs at play. When one of my dogs has needed special medical attention, Best Friends has carefully followed my and the vet's instructions to the T. Charlotte, my latest dog, is not a very friendly dog when it comes to people (early abuse) but she loves the people at Best Friends. The facility is clean and the pet accommodations are made to my order. I highly recommend Best Friends

Lichtig's K-9 Academy
We are so pleased with Lichtig's K9 Academy! We recently rescued a 1 year old GSP and have another GSP puppy. We signed up for the 6 week private obedience program. Bryce and Angie were very professional, knowledgeable & always positive with our dogs. You can tell that they genuinely care for the animals. Our dogs are now able to follow all basic commands, walk without a leash & stay until released. We also have 3 children that they no longer jump on. I would highly recommend Lichtigs k9 Academy to anyone looking for a dog trainer!

Four Paws Dig It
I have a very difficult Yorkie. Even my vet said she is one of the most difficult pets he'd seen. When she was under 1 year old, I brought her to pet's chain store for grooming and they cut off all pads on her paw. She is very scared of groomers. Four Paws Dig It employees do excellent job grooming her. I do walk in to randomly check. I also have other less difficult dogs (2 labs) groomed here and I have no complains.

Barks 5th Avenue
Thank you! What a difference we're seeing in Scout. She is so much easier to handle. We still have more work to do with her and plan to continue pushinf her a little more. Your added suppost is greatly appreciated as it helped us with what we needed to do with her to continue a happy, healthy relationship in our house. Thanks again.

Preppy Pet West Houston
One of the best doggie daycares I have ever used. They have large indoor climates controlled play rooms and a big backyard for the dogs to play in.I love that I am able to watch my dogs play on their pet cams. My boys come home so exhausted from all the fun they had. Thanks preppy pet for taking such great care of them.

Tips & Advices
Pets that do not get along with other animals may incur an additional fee. Some facilities have special solitary sleeping and play animals for these types of pets.
A checklist for what to bring to a pet kennel includes:
  • Vaccination records
  • A favorite toy or blanket
  • Food and feeding instructions (if the pet has dietary restrictions or is a picky eater)
  • Medication (if necessary, in its original bottle and with written instructions)
Some pet kennels have veterinarians as part of their daily staff, while others only have vets part time or on call.
Most kennels can provide basic care such as administering medications, but owners of pets with serious medical issues should choose a facility with a veterinarian on call.
Bordetella, commonly known as kennel cough, is highly contagious, and most dogs catch it at least once in their lifetimes. As such, all dogs should be vaccinated at least 7 days before boarding.
