These factors are similar to those you might use to determine which business to select from a local Yellow Pages directory, including proximity to where you are searching, expertise in the specific services or products you need, and comprehensive business information to help evaluate a business's suitability for you. “Preferred” listings, or those with featured website buttons, indicate YP advertisers who directly provide information about their businesses to help consumers make more informed buying decisions. Orthopedic Doctors in Houston, TX
1.Dr. David Lionberger - Southwest Orthopedic Group
6560 Fannin St Ste 1016
Experiences have always been friendly and professional. I would say procedure and experience both excellent.
2.K. Mathew Warnock M.D.
18220 State Highway 249 Ste 330
My husband found Dr. Warnock. Previously, we had a close encounter of other doctors who showed lack of knowledge and/or their office staff was unprofessional. I was really "gun shy", thinking to just live with rotator cuff pain. On the first visit, Dr. Warnock's medical explanation was "spot on" and his warmth and kindness put me at ease. His office staff were so helpful and easy going, from the front desk to his medical assistants. Everything was just so smooth and seamless. Dr. Warnock is very talented and caring. During my surgery, a road block occurred, but Dr. Warnock apparently anticipated road blocks and was "Johnny on the Spot" to fix it. I read my surgery notes. The other doctors, i.e. anesthesiologist, etc. gave Dr. Warnock an excellent surgical review. I am quite sure that every surgery he performs is just as perfect and excellent as mine.

My ankle pain was so inconvenient that I could not continue my active lifestyle, so I decided to change that by meeting with Dr. Alani. I heard good things about him from an old team mate of mine back when I used to play football. I had a really good consultation, he listened very carefully and was honest in letting me know what I can I expect from getting surgery. Dr. Alani along with his staff were very accomedating and always responded during my calls during recovery (even afterhours). I can feel the difference now after 6 months and the results just speak for themselves. I have been able to jog again without pain and am now training for a marathon.

13.Fondren Orthopedic Group

I have had four surgeries performed by three of the docs at FOG (they need to change their name). I initially chose Dr. Cain (knee specialist now deceased) because he was the Oilers ortho doc. He was the slight of build guy who used to run out on the field when a player went down. Since that first surgery in 1982 (cartilage, right knee), I have had two additional cartilage repairs, another right knee in 2002 and a left knee cartilage last month. In addition, I have had a right shoulder operation and several visits for plantar faciitis. No problems and a quick recovery. I have recommended several of my friends that I compete against and they have had similar experiences. The Texas Orthopedic Hospital facility is first class, just like the docs. They ain't cheap but do you really want a cut rate doc to cut your body? One final note If you don't use Fondren Orthos. use someone that just treats your injury and NOTHING ELSE. If you go to a specialist that says he/she does it all (shoulders knees, hands, etc,), leave that office as soon as possible.
14.NASA Bone and Joints
2020 Nasa Pkwy Ste 200
Dr. Dan O'Neill has operated on both my kids and myself. My son had Tommy John surgery at age 13 in 2001, and hand surgery in 2006. My daughter had both of her knee caps relocated - the right one in 2000 and the left one in 2009. This made it easy for him to find me in the waiting area to report surgery progress when their procedures were completed!!!\r I was the lucky recipient of a Bronstrom ligament reconstruction of my left ankle (I think) in 2007\r \r I recommend him to you as an excellent surgeon and extreme medical professional. He is knowledgable in all aspects of orthopedics and he is an excellent teacher to his interns and assistants. He is the BEST in this area.\r \r He has so much ortophedic experience, that he knows exactly how your body will react to the surgery and how your body will recover.\r \r \r As a parent of former student athletes, I also appreciate what he contributes to the student athletes in this area. He is a an avid supporter of all our student athletes... Harvard educated, too!!!\r

Every doctor in this practice and the entire staff have been nothing but helpful and attentive each time myself or a member of my family has been there to visit. They take great care to make sure their patients completely understand their conditions and are very involved in each step of the treatment plan they create specifically for you. They all know how to make an inconvienent situation bearable in an absolutely seamless manor. I will continue recommending them to family and friends for many years to come!

I had a lump on my left wrist that was very painful he suspected it was an arthritia nodule, but he did culture it for my peace of mind and he was correct with his diagnosis but did not reccomend removing because of the location & all the tendons & ligaments that are right there . He is very nice knows his stuff & very good with patients, explains in layman terms. didn't have to wait very long either.
