They came out and installed a warped piece of glass, so bad that it was too distracting to drive. They came back an put another glass in , still warped but not like the previous piece.
In front of 6 people while talking in an exchange between my husband, my self, the children and my step daughters other side- I moved the mirror slightly downward to my view and it just fell right off with a small piece of glass!!!
My husbands shop calls and gets no where with them, they accuse that it must have had big pressure applied or had been ripped off the glass to do that. Funny thing, it was actually in MY hands when it happened and neither of those are facts. The fact is, the glass installed obviously couldnt hold the weight of the ADJUSTABLE Rearview mirror.
I call these guys myself and the MANAGER accuses me of the same thing and says he sees it all the time. Well, IVE NEVER had this happen, there wasnt even an ornament hanging from it. Based off the fact that Im the main driver, its just as safe for him to keep ASSUMING and go right on ahead and assume that his installer mustve weakened the glass during instillation of the mirror onto the new glass.
Whatever the case is, I know I did not damage the glass and it never had any pressure aside from the weight of the mirror that comes with the vehicle . IMO if your glass cant handle the weight of the mirror for that vehicle, you have no right taking peoples money and installing on that vehicle- if thats not the case, check your installer bc I have plenty of witnesses who were just as baffled as I am about what happened. They refuse , as of this moment- and I will update if this gets handled by the company- to do anything about it.
I am told I can pay again to get one of their crappy mirrors- did I mention the first windshield was installed so poorly that wind was coming through ??? BE CAREFUL when dealing with this company, They do NOT back their products or installs and WILL blame you if they do wrong.
The price was very affordable, but the customer service was horrible. The day I went to get it fixed the broke the only replacement glass they had in stock. This caused me to loose two days of work because I had no other form of transportation. And yet besides that I still appreciated the fact that they were coming to my house for free, but when the "technician" got there he a really nasty attitude, like I had inconvenienced him for doing my job. Also when it was time to call to get the price of everything figured out Alex was very rude and stated that he "obviously made it clear" at the shop that I was getting a discounted price. overall I would not recommended this rude establishment.
